Bruce shook his head. "No, no, I know you, you're just going to try talking in circles around me until I end up staying, and I know I shouldn't stay." Bruce grabbed his coat and shoved his shoes on. "I know what you meant, Andie, and you're right. My... I'm too volatile. I should've realized how this would've affected you before."

"You do have plenty of reasons," Bruce laughed. He shoved his hands in his pockets, his shoulders slumping a bit as he relaxed. "Telekinetic, huh? Powerful one?"

Bruce released her hands and stood up. "I know you can handle it. You're strong. I don't want you to handle it." Bruce motioned absently with his hands. "There's a reason I'm the only one who works on my serums, besides Tony - but I really can't stop him. There's a reason nobody runs tests with me. There's reasons. It's not just you, or your ability. It's everybody."

Bruce was trying to keep himself calm, but he needed her to understand. Getting worked up definitely wouldn't help the situation, and he knew that, trying to keep his heart rate from increasing.

Bruce raised an eyebrow at him. "And you don't have a problem with it, then? The... Other Guy? You're fine with it, not afraid at all?" 

Bruce raised his eyebrows. "You talk to Steve?" Bruce had been unable to talk to anyone except Tony since they went their separate ways. At the beginning, it had been too difficult. Natasha, he had almost killed; Clint, he barely knew. Thor was... well, he was very far away. He wanted to call Steve, meet him for lunch, something, but what do you say to someone like him? Tony ended up being the only one he could relate to, and, by extension, the only one he saw.

"How is Steve?"

Hulk frowned. Hulk scrunched up his face in confusion. Hulk looked down at Angry Lady, and Hulk felt calm. Hulk felt Angry Lady in Hulk's head.

"Get out," Hulk grunted, trying to get angry again. "Angry Lady, get out of Hulk head."
