Bruce Raised His Eyebrows. "You Talk To Steve?" Bruce Had Been Unable To Talk To Anyone Except Tony Since
Bruce raised his eyebrows. "You talk to Steve?" Bruce had been unable to talk to anyone except Tony since they went their separate ways. At the beginning, it had been too difficult. Natasha, he had almost killed; Clint, he barely knew. Thor was... well, he was very far away. He wanted to call Steve, meet him for lunch, something, but what do you say to someone like him? Tony ended up being the only one he could relate to, and, by extension, the only one he saw.
"How is Steve?"

"Andie," Bruce growled, his voice only half-his, "Get out. Andie-" Bruce's breath caught, and he choked back the rest of his words. His skin started turning green quickly as he began to break apart.
SPIT IT OUT!

"I’m not guilty!"
Hulk grunted. Hulk looked around himself, then sat down on the floor. Hulk frowned. "Angry Lady use powers for good. Hulk not fight Angry Lady if she use for good." He pressed his knuckled fists into the floor and frowned again.
SPIT IT OUT!

"I’m not guilty!"
"Yeah," Bruce said, nodding. "I'm not even totally sure why I was invited. I'll assume my invitation wasn't your doing, then."

"Hank" Bruce said, smiling a bit before he remembered himself and straightened up. "I- Dr. McCoy is a good friend of mine, very smart man. You're lucky to have had him as a professor." Mike's words finally processed for Bruce, and he nodded once in realization. "You're a mutant, then, aren't you?"
