First page of a lawlight comic, enjoy! L is writing something on the paper, Light brings him tea (with 5 sugar cubes). Light asks "What are you doing?". To which L replies "It's the invitation". Light takes the paper.

Light reads through the paper while L drinks his cup of tea. Light sighs. "Goddammit" "Ryuzaki, this is just stupid. I am NOT Kira!" On the paper he shows, it is written "You have been invited to our wedding, L and Kira"

Light adds "Besides, where's your last name?" "you wont tell even your fiancé huh". He asks "If you're so convinced I'm a serial killer, why marry me?". Ryuzaki answers "Well, as the world's greatest detective... I get to have an eye on you ALL the time. Every step you make, I'll be there, waiting for your mistake." L continues "Moreover, I enjoy your company, Light kun".

Basically, L starts to recite his marriage vows haha. "We can solve cases, just you and I. You're my first ever friend, remember? I promise to be your best friend. I swear I'll stay with you. Be there at your lowest or best, in sickness or health. To love, cherish and honor you." He reaches for Light's hand. Light's eyes sparkle, blushing like a lost puppy. Just like Yotsuba arc, when he heard he was L's friend.

L, holding Light's hand, finishes with "We'll be together for the rest of our lives. Not even death will do us apart, it is because... If I die, you die. Kira." L's psychotic look contrasts with the sparkles and flowers around him, hehe. That's it, I hope you liked it!

Reading fanfiction on ao3 is like being addicted to drugs.

The first time you read one you experience this immense amount of euphoria and satisfaction (because of a well-done story or your ship having a solid dynamic etc.)

The high lasts for quite some time until you want way more of that special feeling so you read more and more until eventually nothing can satisfy you anymore.

But instead of trying to quit, we embrace the madness and let it takes us wherever it wants.

And I think that's beautiful.
