Genuinely do not understand Americans who say they aren’t going to vote or the vote doesn’t matter. You’re on the clown site, babey, and you just got the chance to have a black woman, however morally questionable you find her, wipe the floor with the most overconfident, below-mediocrity white man you ever did see. The comedy! The drama! The pizzazz! Where’s the commitment to the bit!? The dedication to the show going on!? The “god forbid women do anything” tenacity you all so love!? You’re in the circus now and I swear, I better see you all getting into this clown car because the world is watching and we’re waiting for the best show of our lives!

Hey, Psyop asses who keep coming into my fucking comments and inbox, I have one question and if you can answer it effectively, I'll straight up shut the fuck up.

What's your plan, to prevent Trump from not only sending larger amounts of aid to Israel, but also to prevent him from criminalizing LGBTQ+ people's existence, deporting even natural born citizens of immigrant families he deems not white American enough, stripping social security and medicare funds, etc.?

Like what's the plan homies, how are we stopping the fascist dictator from being a fascist dictator?

Protests aren't effective on his behavior, while Harris and Biden have inched further toward at least voicing sympathy and taking action toward supporting Palestinian civilians, (just look it the fuck up, it's like two google searches, yes they still support Israel but they did attempt to halt bomb shipments and they do continue to push for a ceasefire and Palestine's recognition as a state.) he's outright said he thinks he should be allowed to give the word to send in the military to kill, arrest, and deport all protestors regardless of decorum.

Boycotting isn't effective if you aren't already spending the money on his backers, and something tells me most of us Aren't a big fan of donating to christofascist organizations or dumping any money that isn't absolutely necessary into oil executives and mega conglomerates' pockets, so that's not really super useful in this instance.

Violent revolution is An Option, I suppose, sure, but leftists on average own less firearms and have less survival, and combat experience than the right, of which make up most of our police force and military, and believe it or not we actually don't outnumber both the right, and moderate crowd who would rally against us for that violence, not even mentioning the hefty amount of disabled and chronically ill people you'd be throwing to the wolves to either die of lack of care or be outright targeted in this brand new violent 'utopia' you've built, OR the amount of actual fascists who will see that violent revolution as an excuse to go out and murder as many marginalized people as they can, regardless of their participation in your revolution.

So what the fuck is the plan, when Trump wins, if you decide not to vote??

"Well what's YOUR plan for stoping aid to genocide if Harris wins??"

I'm so glad you asked!

I've already started campaigning on a grassroots level for city officials, congressmen, and senators in my area who have spoken out against Zionism, I plan to get public opinion on them up so that when midterms happen, I have a better chance of actually electing someone I fully agree with and who can help push our presidential cabinet into doing better. I already voted for a regent of university who made student's right to civil disobedience and protection against excessive police force a large part of his platform, and city council members who campaigned for police reform in the form of a more stringent application and screening process, and a longer training period that includes sensitivity training and civil education testing.

I participate in and organize pro Palestinian protests, and make graphic materials to help spread public awareness of who to effectively boycott and who to donate to in order to help.

I am in the process of sorting through Democratic National Committee backers, to find those that are Zionist, and their businesses, to effectively organize a boycott that will Directly pull money out of the democrat party's pockets and continue to put pressure on all of them to actually make changes.

I regularly, as in almost daily, send emails to my senators, congressmen, and the Whitehouse, making my expectations for my government representatives clear, of which I actually have gotten a few non-automated replies on the state level, expressing their understanding of those expectations.

So again. What the fuck. Is your plan. For if Trump wins? You gonna sit on the ground and cry some more about not getting your way Right Now with no actual effort on your part? While millions lose their lives and livelihoods?

You have to actually understand our fucking government, and understand that your vote isn't supposed to be a tool for picking the candidate that will fix everything Right Now, it's a tool to pick the candidate most likely to make changes based on your other actions of resistance. Not voting, or splitting the vote, does not fucking help anyone except for the actual fascist dictator who will win if we don't unify, and the far-right Israeli leaders (among OTHER far-right world leaders,) he shows complete and utter full support for without even an Ounce of criticism outside of "I think they should be doing worse."

Get the fuck up and vote. It's the LEAST you can fucking do. Stop doomsaying and actually put in some god damn effort.

For the first time in forever I'm actually feeling hopeful about the state of US politics. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz may not be as radical as some progressives are demanding asking, but for American politicians they are an absolute breath of fresh air.

With how the Republican party has been trying to recreate Nazi Germany, it's such a relief that we have Democratic candidates who are outspoken supporters of LGBTQ rights, women's rights, civil rights, etc. It also definitely helps that they're not completely tonguing Israel's boot.

If you're an American citizen and over 18, you have no excuse to not vote this November.

normally i wouldn’t make a post like this, but i hope at least some people will see it:

"By contrast, Donald J. Trump has indicated that he would allow Israel to use greater force in Gaza, arguing that Israeli forces have "got to finish what they started, and they've got to finish it fast." Mr. Trump also supports taking a more aggressive stance against Iran, and his re-election might allow Mr. Netanyahu to conduct more strikes on Iran and its proxy militias like Hezbollah, as well as the Houthis in Yemen."

from this NYT article

"Though Harris has been careful not to contradict President Biden, she has often pushed the envelope of the administration's messaging on the Israel-Gaza conflict. She has at times advocated forcefully, and ahead of other administration officials, for limiting civilian casualties and addressing the humanitarian crisis in the enclave. "I think she will be more inclined to find other ways to put pressure on Israel if the situation in Gaza does not dramatically improve," said Ivo Daalder, who served as NATO ambassador during the Obama administration and is well connected with Biden aides."
"During the meeting, Harris is expected to tell Netanyahu that "it is time for the war to end in a way where Israel is secure, all hostages are released, the suffering of Palestinian civilians in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can enjoy their right to dignity, freedom, and self-determination," the aide said."
"As vice president, Harris hasn't had an opportunity to define her own brand of foreign policy, though some observers say she might ultimately align herself more closely with the progressive elements of the Democratic Party and might be more inclined to make U.S. support for Israel more conditional on its conduct in Gaza and the West Bank. Harris drew attention during a March speech in Selma, Ala., when she assailed what she described as inhumane conditions in the enclave, and urged Israel to do more to expedite aid to Gaza. She talked in graphic terms about how Palestinians in Gaza were eating animal feed and leaves to stay alive. "Our common humanity compels us to act," she said."
"Jim Zogby, the founder of the Arab American Institute, who has criticized Biden's response to the war, said he spoke with Harris by phone in October and believed she has demonstrated "far greater empathy" for Palestinians than Biden and other White House aides."

from this WSJ article

just so everyone has the information.
