I've been keeping this to myself for a while now but truly, TRULY I don't understand why people like Flame that much. He's so arrogant and just a one-dimensional, selfish, murderous asshole. There's nothing to like about him and yet I constantly see fanart after fanart and entire essays about how great he is and really he's just... Not. This also applies to a lot of other characters, namely Icicle and Scarlet; Flame just sticks out to me because of just how much straight-up glazing I've seen. At this point it just feels like they're TRYING to like a bad character to be different or edgy.

anon has already been beaten to hell and back but going to add my two cents because i can like good lord I'm not even a fan of flame but hes not??? a one dimensional arrogant asshole???? i would like him significantly less if he was a bitch for the sake of being a bitch but like man this dragonet has been through a shit ton and lashes out at others and hates himself for what he's been through i like him because hes set up to be a more complex character and because i feel like a lotta teens can relate to that self hating even if its not to that level also clarification im not saying hes not arrogant or an asshole but also those aren't the only things about him wof wings of fire flame WoF

Jerboa I is one of the only WoF villains to actually give me chills. Her slow descent into madness is really well written. And she only gets what, a chapter??

Just the way she offhandedly mentions Jerboa II "going wrong" and getting rid of her... Her making all of those little tweaks to Jerboa III, slowly changing her to her liking and becoming more abusive. CHILLS. I wanna see more people talk about her.
