Recently (before I Went To London, If You're Wondering) I Was In A Bit Of A Slump And I Didn't Seem To

Recently (before I went to London, if you're wondering) I was in a bit of a slump and I didn't seem to be able to draw anything. Everyone always says when that happens you should just draw loads of things until it goes away, so I used that monster generator that's been going around and drew monsters for half the afternoon! I got all girls, coincidentally. It worked very well, even if I did discover that I need to work harder on diverse body types.
Also Sammy got me with a paper person! Nooooo! I should have known she had an ulterior motive when she gave me those creme eggs.
The 'paper house' is the scrapbook I made to contain some of the paper people from years gone by. I decided to start documenting my end of the game, so I've made a flicker set showing some of Sammy's previous victories.

For your viewing delight, some sketches of fancy pigeons!
I took my friend Nam to an agricultural show my village hosts annually, at which I magically transform from a serious academic semi-goth to a lunatic in wellies getting excited about sheep. It's genuinely one of my favourite things about the village, they have rare breeds of sheep and pigs and sometimes Dales ponies and there are strange chickens and a pigeon show! There's a produce contest where people show off enormous marrows and a man who demonstrates how to shear sheep and spin wool by hand! And a Tamworth pig with a dozen ginger piglets!
My favourite part is the fancy pigeons. I love the 'blowers' best of all, with their enormous puffy necks. They always look so proud of themselves, strutting around their cages.
Yes, I am a country bumpkin. I've disappointed you all.
WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?
Oh my goodness, tumblrbot! I didn't answer you for months! Your robot heart must be shattered. Poor little bot.
Since you asked, THE DEEP OCEAN WHERE THE DEEP-SEA BEASTIES LIVE.
You guys, I am such a huge fan of this comic, so I hope you know that I will probably try to SEW ALL OF THESE.

i promised someone i’d do something like this a while ago, so what better time to do it than when i have a million other things i should be doing! i didn’t clean these up much after i scanned them because i’ve spent too long on them already really…maybe i’ll come back to this in future.
i’ve noticed that a lot of people tend to draw lumi in a corset when they do fanart. that’s not a complaint, but i wonder why that is? she’s an empire-waist sort of lady.

Why I'm Afraid of Mirrors - Part 2
Today Patience illustrates the second-biggest reason I'm afraid of mirrors. Tomorrow, the thing I fear most in any reflective surface!
Yesterday I was afraid my reflection would move on its own.
Today, I am afraid my reflection will be someone else.
Ironically, I blanked on monster design, so that is basically me Patience is seeing in the window.
