My right foot in a twisty sort of position. I like drawing feet, but I don't think mine are very interesting.
Please also enjoy my accurate rendering of my hairy right leg.

Trying out my grey brush pens this time. This is Fox, who I bought from plushplushtree a few years ago. She was in... first year on the illustration course when I was in third year, I think.
Fox eats your excess thoughts and can only speak French. I can't speak French so Fox only speaks when Lily is present. Fox is also the unofficial mascot of What's the Time, Mrs Woolf?

Soft-lead pencils again. Among my odd bits and bobs, an old darning mushroom my mum gave me a few years ago. It's a bit wonky but it still works.

Further adventures in the land of Sarah's soft toys. This is a No-Face plushie made by Ponymonster. It was actually bought for me by an unusually generous con-goer!

One of the lilies at work is only half-open. I think it looks nicer that way.

The double-stacked comics on my bookshelf fell over, so I drew them before I stood them back up. I was more interested in the shape than anything else, so I didn't bother to draw the cover art, but if you're curious here's what they are:
(left to right)
Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Promise parts 1-3
Brain Camp by Susan Kim, Laurence Klavan and Faith Erin Hicks
Friends With Boys by Faith Erin Hicks
Anya's Ghost by Vera Brosgol
Nothing Is Forgotten by Ryan Andrews
Janes In Love, Re-Gifters, The Plain Janes, Token, Kimmie66, Emiko Superstar, Good As Lily, Burnout and Confessions of a Blabbermouth, all from the now-defunct Minx line.
Serenity Rose vol. 1 + 2 by Aaron Alexovich
Ink + Paper vol. 1
Hemlock 1-4 by Josceline Fenton
The really uniform ones behind all of them are my ever-expanding collection of second-hand Inuyasha manga.

More brush pen pictures of toys. This is Tiptoe and Socrates.

22nd January
Despite my fear of mirrors, I own quite a few pocket-sized ones.

I am single-handedly attempting to revive both letter-writing and the use of sealing wax.
I also stamp a dancing skeleton next to the address on the envelope, but that's a story for another time.

It's still too cold for outdoor drawing (I don't mind the cold, but my hands seize up really quickly) so I dug out my Treasure Box on the hunt for interesting objects.
Here's an old seashell I used to use as a candle-holder, complete with candle stub.

Still from my Treasure Box, a fossil called a Devil's Toenail. Sometimes I'd find these in the driveway gravel at home.

Still mining the Treasure Box, a small wooden pendant I got as a child, on a visit to a reconstructed Saxon village. It was my favourite necklace for a very long time, even after the string broke. I'd like to give it a new one if I can find the right materials.

Back to pencil for one of my most treasured possessions, an old 50p piece with hands on the back. It's the kind of 50p that grants wishes in The Queen's Nose.
(For those outside the UK, the 50p piece was replaced with a smaller version in 1997, so you can't find this design in general circulation any more.)

Another thing from my Treasure Box, this time with no outline. I have no idea what this key is for.

30th January 2014
Today in Treasure Box items of no financial value, a piece of a key I found on the pavement.

31st January 2014
The last one! Something else from my Treasure Box that is financially worthless but very special to me - some beach glass. It's all cloudy and smooth from being tossed around by the sea.
