                Breath    hitches    in    her    throat    as    fingers    twitch.    A    nervous    tick,    but,    what    was    she    nervous    about    ??    Anytime    he    shows    up    she    gets    anxious,    or...    no,    it's    just    the    butterflies    in    her    stomach.    The    ones    she    swore    she    had    thrown    up    months    ago,    the    ones    she    had    sworn    never    to    grow    in    her    belly    again    because    that's    not    how    friends    feel    for    each    other.    Friends    don't    hold    hands    and    spend    the    night    wrapped    up    in    each    others    arms,    sharing    breaths    between    gasps    and    moans    and    whispering    sweet    nothings    to    each    other.    No,    friends    don't    do    that,    do    they    ??

                Then    what    fucking    were    they    ??    Not    much    had    been    said    about    their    late    nights    wrapped    up    in    sheets    or    tangled    in    each    others    limbs    in    the    backseat    of    his    car,    but    not    much    has    been    said    about    their    feelings    either.    Perhaps    this    was    the    first    step.    The    first    step    to    admitting    her    feelings,    the    ones    she    was    too    scared    to    admit    in    fear    of    rejection.    Feelings    she's    had    for    a    very,    very    long    time.

                How    good    of    an    idea    was    this    ??    The    whole    world    hates    him    for    what    he    did,    but    Holly    see's    right    past    that,    especially    the    gruff,    tough    guy    exterior.    The    walls    he    puts    up    to    shut    everyone    out.    That    may    worl    on    others,    but    clearly    not    on    her    if    she    had    the    means    to    fall    in    love    with    him.    In    love.    Yes,    that's    what    she    felt    anytime    she    laid    eyes    on    him,    it    wasn't    nerves    or    anxiousness...    it    was    love.    The    butterflies    in    her    stomach    she    thought    she    had    chewed    up    and    spat    out.

so to add to this, Hollys death was so violent and traumatic that it brought her back as a revenant, and because there’s… literally nothing of her old body left, she can’t be laid to rest, so she’s just forced to haunt everyone for eternity

The way that holly would sob for hours randomly one day when she gets her memories back and her body isn’t still in fight or flight mode and she can properly feel emotions in her revenant verse god
