Is the reason men go insane trying to comprehend things that cannot be comprehended like Cthulhu is because of pride?

We can only describe what they aren't, because we can only comprehend what we know, so we try to place everything we know in its place, only for us to realize that we cannot. Is that what makes us truly mad? Is it not the monster it self, but the pride within us that refuses to accept the fact that we cannot understand a being. Is that what drives man mad? Not the fact that a monster looks like what it does, but out inability to comprehend it, and then our inability to accept that we can't?

So here’s the sketches(I’ll try to make fully colored ones when I have time!)

I could never work at the monstro lounge.

I would spend at least half my shift drawing doodles all over the signs that advertise it, but it brings in more customers so Azul can’t complain.

The doodles are quick but I’m a perfectionist, (one reason it takes half my shift) and Azul can’t complain, because that would make him hypocritical, and I would throw it back at him.

The second reason is the Tweels^tm. They both would love the fact that I’m (mildly) pissing off Azul, and that I can draw.

Jade would ask me to draw mushrooms, and because he’s my senior, who can I refuse? (I love mushrooms and loopholes)

Floyd would make me draw silly things, like cartoony shrimps or memes.

Also to add, I reread the newest post, and the fact that animas always preferred silver kinda hurt my heart.

I’m not going to write as much but imagining younger Sebek trying to befriend forest animals as a kid because he had no friends, but they all ran away from him, only to flock at the human, Silver.

History repeats itself with students avoiding him, but sometimes(I’m unsure, I’ve seen some vignettes where I think a few liked Silver) going to Silver instead.

He can't help but wonder if it's because something is wrong with him, it makes him hate his half human status even more. Maybe if he wasn't so different he'd actually be able to fit in (he ignores the way Silver can fit in seamlessly with bith fae and humans alike.....maybe it's just Sebek...)

Question, since they have magic, to you think they have adrenaline, especially for the fae, beast men or merpeople. Like I doubt they ever evolved something for it-
