Hi everyone! I’m Vanessa. All my life I’ve wanted to travel, but having been born into a cult, I believed for the longest time that my only purpose in life was to be a wife or mother. That damage to my psyche made me believe myself incapable of traveling or studying, but after having escaped almost a year ago, I’ve since gained the confidence needed to take the leap and work to achieve the one thing that always nagged at me; studying abroad.

However, due to the coronavirus, I lost my job and am now unable to make the funds that would make my goal achievable. I’ve found a school in Norway that I would love to attend, and I’m already in the process of applying for it.
