The Blooming Rose

Pairing : yandere Coriolanus snow x fem!reader

Warnings : dark themes, yandere, baby trapping.

Inspired from the idea of the amazing @mrsdarkandyandere7 thank you so much for letting me use the concept 🙇‍♀️ ❤️

The Blooming Rose

You were the sole daughter of the (name) family, one of the oldest and most affluent families in the capital. Given your position, it was expected of you to find a husband of equal or higher standing. Therefore, imagine the delight of your parents when Coriolanus Snow, the newly appointed president of Panem, proposed to you.

It had been the annual New Year's party, one your family hosted every year. Of course, he would be there. You could feel his gaze on you throughout the evening, but you chose to simply ignore it and continue mingling with the guests. Never had you expected that when the clock struck twelve, he would get on his knees in front of everyone and ask for your hand.

You were flushed, not with excitement but with anger, knowing that there was no way you could reject him anymore. Nodding reluctantly, you let him slip the ring on your finger as those around you cheered and came to congratulate you and your newly acquired fiancé, saying how lovely a pair the two of you were, words that made Coriolanus smirk and pull you closer to himself.

He had always loved you from afar, noticing you for the first time at a gathering for upper-class society. You were a rose in bloom, he'd whispered to himself, watching you dance with some lowlife who would never be worthy of your attention. Coriolanus vowed he would restore his family name to its previous glory, and then he would have you by his side as his wife.

Following his rise to power, Coriolanus sought you out, only to be rejected. You had no intentions of getting involved with a man like him, knowing full well that despite all the smiles and pleasantries, there was something much darker inside him. You were right, of course, but he had no intention of giving up. His rose would become Ms Snow even if he had to force her, and what better way than a public display of affection....

His plan had been a success, and you were finally his, as it was always meant to be. Even if you were not happy, Coriolanus was certain that with time he would be able to win you over, just as he had done with your parents. Your father had been thrilled to see his daughter marrying the most eligible man in the capitol, and your mother had been boasting endlessly to her friends of how her daughter managed to charm the youngest president in Panem's history, neither of them noticing your fake smiles and reluctance when faced with your future husband.

The wedding had been a grand affair, "nothing but the best for my bride." Coriolanus, or Coryo as he insisted you call him, told the wedding planners. While some would call your tears during the ceremony of joy, you knew they had been of fear and sorrow, knowing full well the man standing beside you would never let you leave him.

He had been insatiable on your first night together, whispering sweet nothings and praises into your ears, "you're the only one worthy enough to carry my heir..." He mumbled, trusting in you one last time before spilling his seed inside your cunt.

You wept silently, knowing Coriolanus's words held a deeper meaning. He would be getting you pregnant, not out of love or the desire to have children, but so there would be no room left for you to escape him. A child meant you were eternally bound to Coriolanus Snow.

You'd hoped his interest in you would fade with time, especially after hearing from other ladies of how their husbands would grow bored and detached from them once they got pregnant, but it seemed Coriolanus was not like most men, if anything, after you told him of your pregnancy for the first time, he seemed thrilled and much more ravenous, constantly finding ways to bend you over any surface in your home, telling you how you glowed carrying his child, as he left love marks on your neck and thighs.

Not long after your daughter was born, Coriolanus let you know of his desire to have more children with you, a notion that made you sick to the stomach, but try as you might, your husband would always get what he wanted. After all, everyone knows "Snow lands on top."

I haven't written in a while + english isn't my first language not sure how good this is, so please be nice.

I love Tigris so much, yes in TBOSBAS but also how that then translates into the Hunger Games

She’s one of the last living people (if not the only other living person) who knew Lucy Gray well other than Snow himself. And we see how lonely and outcast her life has become, imagine the wonder she must have felt to hear the Mockingjay sing again, how she must have looked at Katniss and saw the ghost of her old friend

I think Snow forgot even an old cat can be pushed to bare her claws when she’s needed most. She sheltered the rebellion, she fed them at her table (cooking an act we see so closely intertwined with love in her character). She spits in the face of everything Snow dismisses her as her entire life, and I love her so dearly

The difference between me and Suzanne Collins is that if I wrote The Hunger Games I would have made Katniss’s name Nicoal.
