andre saying zero day is to even the score in life. he’s been bullied his entire life since moving from germany. the words and actions others have inflicted on him have become internal now. the voices in his head have turned against him.

whether he wants to admit it or not: andre is his own biggest bully. he remembers things others don’t like the jcpenney shirt and puts himself down over it. no matter how hard he tries, he will never get rid of his self hatred.
