Another Stormcast Knight. The plan was for each to have their own dominant color, like Knight heraldry, but in a group it comes off more like the power rangers. Oh well

Gotta have more pink, here's the Pink Ranger- I mean heraldic Knight. Maybe I should've gone with two colors per Knight like I did for the leader. Either way I like how they turned out, much more bold than my normal muted style

Some older minis of mine, from back when Warhammer Underworlds launched, the warband Garrek's Reavers. Pretty straightforward, and painted right after the game came out. I was using it as an exercise in painting skin, something I wasn't much familiar with at the time

Another Stormcast Knight, no crazy headpiece for this one. I'd love to paint more Stormcast but my painting queue is so long and I don't have a local group, feels almost like a waste

The last Stormcast Knight, for now. I've got a lot of criticisms for them, but that's why we have test units like these. Next for Stormcast are Sequitors, I think their vibe fits the Knight look the best, who knows when I'll get around to painting them tho

I think that one of my favorite things about the Warhammer settings as a whole is that their absolute apexes of supernatural skill, their absolute peaks of arcane or psychic mastery, the ancient starfarers and precursors with unmatched understanding of the ins and outs of creation and the manipulation of the fabric of reality, who can level mountains with a gesture and orchestrate plans lasting for eons, look like this:

Since I don't have much energy for hobby stuff these days, and even a closed display cabinet needs dusting every so often, I decided to go back and photograph some slightly older models with the benefit of the black backdrop and the ring light and the magic phone and all that.

Chaos Gods of Law would be cool to see in Age of Sigmar. Alluminas, the 2nd 1, Somorphia, and Solkan

i can kinda imagine the GoL intro into AoS. idk, maybe... 1 of the gods of Order tries to fight either archaon or belachor, and a portal opens into the realm of chaos... the Order god tries to avoid the eyes of the chaos gods and the horned rat, eventually stumbling into the Gods of Law. the Order god makes a deal with the GoL. and idk we get Law equivalents of the chaos forces; Conscripts of Light, Blades of Solkan, Disciples of Alluminas, something for Sormorphia, and the other 1 gets her(?)own force.

maybe after the honeymoon period i vaguely described, the GoL are discovered to really want a stillborn universe... which is what GoL want while the Order gods want a "utopia"... GoL then split off to form their own grand alliance

for the aesthetics of the God Of Law's hypothetical armies: Bretonnia + "King of War"s' Basilean faction + warcraft paladin/priest + TABS fantasy good As for play styles; Conscripts of Light: Slaves of Darkness, but stiffer Aphrodites of Sormorphia: what lumaneth is to old high elf, this army is to old Bretonnia Blades of Solkan: Blades of Khorne, but find and replace 'blood' for 'justice' Crystal-kin of Arianka: a stone wall Disciples of Alluminas: ... IDK

also the daemons look like angels ... accurate angels for Alluminas
