and 2. i do have some sympathy for her given she was born under nordic occupation unable to govern her people, likely having to fear for her life every day. and then when you finally drive the nords out of your home and can wear the crown you were born to wear with pride to lead your people. some man significantly older than you strong arms you into a political marriage so actually he can rule and you can just be an accessory to him that legitimizes his rule.
