Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath, he keep reminding himself to take a deep breath, whether it’s a way to calm himself down or the calm everyone down: Tamaki Amajiki keeps inhaling and exhaling to calm his pounding chest and to tire down the ringing in his hair but in spite of all the battles he had in his head, there’s this one person that he always thinks of, the one who tells him that he should keep going, the one who keeps cheering on him even if he felt like everyone is watching him, that person was you. He is indeed in love with butterflies but he surely knows that haven’t eaten any type of butterfly and yet, your laughter, your smile, and the way you speak made him feel soft and familiar inside.

He never knew what caused this, he never knew what’s the reason for his sudden excitement when you enter the room, his body would react when he feels your warmth to his fingertips, he would often ramble this to Mirio to which Mirio was happy and pleased: he always wanted to see this sight where Amajiki finally found the missing part and him feeling the warmth in his skin.

“Come on, just one date..”

“I’ll just end up going home..”

Mirio left a chuckle but with a little push, he said that you wouldn’t turn him down or even leave him alone because deep down Mirio knew that Amajiki has the best version of himself and that’s when he’s with you. But to his state he never knew how much big deal this is for Amajiki thinking of all the things that may not fall to the ending he wishes to possess however, he, himself was also indecisive despite being one of the UA’s big three, he had no clue which move he should do next.

The last thing he knew is that he only wanted to be next to you, all of the time.

But the funny about that is that you and Amajiki posses the same attitude, him having anxiety whenever he’s with new people and you being afraid of asking some additional ketchup to a fast food chain worker: due to this fact you two pledge closer together and the two of you voyage the outside world the language you and him only knew and communication became a golden key for the both of you.

So, you noticed how Amajiki mostly feel embarrassed or flustered next to you: you wondered if maybe you did something wrong? Or maybe you did something that actually made him and that is the last thing you wish would happen, without a doubt losing Amajiki would be the greatest travesty you wish you wouldn’t think of, due to the sudden change of his attitude you tried to think of somethings that can actually affect Amajiki from the food you gave him to the way you talked to him but nothing seems to be the problem but still he seems to have that pink shade of powder in his cheeks, and to your conclusion maybe he has a crush….on someone else.

Not that you like him or maybe you do...but maybe he’s being like that because you two seemed to be too close and now it’s affecting his crush, you tried to clear your mind in this kind of thought, but looking back he did mention that there’s this one person that makes him keep going.

You dealt with heartache before but now, you wonder if Amajiki is worth it because truth to be told, seeing Amajiki with someone who isn’t you, doesn’t really make your stomach happy, however if it’s a way to make him smile, you’ll gladly let him go.

You stood in front of Amajiki’s room and with a heart on your hand as an offer for a love that you wish he will return. You informed him ahead of time that you were gonna go inside but then you remind to yourself that both of you are like house of cards, you two take time to build each other and just a short time to make you both fall apart but alas, for now, you or both of you tries to make this house of cards even bigger.

You went inside his room and saw Mirio and Amajiki talking, it seems so intense and still Amajiki’s red blush is still present, as if by magic or most likely quirk Mirio vanishes making himself sink in Amajiki’s room leaving you and Amajiki alone, oh, and also those butterflies in yours and his stomach.

“..I noticed something..are you mad at me?”

You asked Amajiki to make him stand up asking you why you would think of that and you looked away. Huh? So he isn’t mad. Maybe he really likes someone, then. Without a word, Amajiki just stared at you as you sigh in deep thought, Mirio’s words had a call in his head, like he is having a telepathy with Mirio.

“...I see..”

You gave off a vibe like you knew but at the same time you didn't. While Amajiki stares at you, adoring you in every way he can.

“I like you.”

Ah, crap. You and him muttered in a low voice, ah, soulmates. What a twist indeed, you two heard a low chuckle and Mirio’s face was on Amajiki’s wall. “See, I told ya!” To Mirio, he told you beforehand that you should just go for it and he cheered Amajiki a while ago to ask you out. He disappeared from the wall as you ran to Amajiki and gave him a hug as he did in return with a shaking hand; no words were heard that time and apparently you need don’t need to say ‘i love you ‘ to say you two love each other, forgot about the blue moon and shooting stars because in this universe you two have each other hearts inside the bigger house of cards.

~Chapter One: I Wanna Go Home~

"Ow, My head *Sigh* Where am I?" Amajiki searched around the room for any clues of his whereabouts. " A hospital room?...Ahh!"  A blood-curdling pain engulfed his body when trying to relieve himself from his dormant state. 

He lifted his hospital gown receiving one hell of an eye opener, his torso, and abdomen tightly encase in bloody bandages. The elf's breath hitched at the sight.  

'How did I-wait..wait' Amajiki gulped.' Who changed me out of my clothes?!' His anxiety rapidly flared up just thought of somebody seeing his weird body or even worse notion what if a girl that changed him.  

'Oh god,' The elf covered his hot face on the brink of tears.

"Woah! Woah! I don't think it's a bright idea for you to be moving so soon." 

"Wahh!" The elf almost leaped out of his skin after witnessing Mirio face phase through the wall.

"Quit screaming, Tamaki. We are in a hospital." Mirio snickered.

"You almost gave me a heart attack"

"Oh sorry" Mirio phased himself through the wall. "How are you feeling, Champ?" (I don't why but for some reason. I'm giving Mirio father/ best friend vibes...I like it.)

"What happened to me?"

"You rocked! You saved a busload of people!" Mirio voiced died down when it came to the bad news. "Unfortunately, Your were knocked out cold after the villain sent you flying through a building while you were distracted. "

'Ugh! How could I have been so careless?! I'm such an idiot! I-I bet Mirio would have seen that attack coming from a mile away-' "Ouch!" Amajiki holds his throbbing nose.

"Now, don't go belittling yourself or else. I will flick you again" Mirio eyes soften after the elf quickly nodded "yes". "Good because you should be proud of yourself-Oh, wait here!" Mirio disappeared into the wall leaving Amajiki wondering what's he's up too now.  

"Eek!!!" The screams of several women made the curious elf flinched. 

"Sorry about that ladies!" Mirio bust through the door struggling to pull up his pants. " How about I just use the door."

Amajiki hummed and nodded in agreement.

Mirio prop opens the door and left once more. The elf grew embarrassed with the door opened, the nurses and doctors could walk by and see him in his hospital gown. He kept his head down as toyed with his fingers hoping Mirio would hurry.

"I'm back!"

Amajiki head shot up and froze with widening eyes. " W-What all this for?!"

Mirio smiled with his huge arms full of "great well" cards, balloons, candy, and flowers. " These are all from the civilians. YOU saved."

Amajiki's heart fluttered but if only he were quicker on his feet- "Ouch!".

" I saw that look in your eye again" Mirio sat by Amajiki's bedside. "Listen, I know you're upset because you got distracted."

"Am I really that see-through?"  The elf's ears burned with embarrassment. 

"Nobody's perfect" Mirio pulled Amajiki into a giant bear hug. "Everyone makes mistakes and mistakes are good because you can get the opportunity to learn from them."

Mirio soothing words was a mental pat on the back to Amajiki. It actually made the shy elf join some of his confident back even though it's a very small amount. That counts as progress.

"Thanks, Mirio" Amajiki's ears twitched with happiness.

*Knock* *Knock*

Both of them pulled away from their hug giving all their attention to the door.

"Hi I'm (Y/N), I'm your nurse." The alluring woman's heels clicked against the hospital's marble floor. "You are Mr. Amajiki" Your voice softens while you verified medical information.

Amajiki 's purple orbs scanned (Y/N) from head to toe. Every inch of her was a sight for sore eyes from those soft legs to her breathtaking eyes. That's the problem! Your gorgeous and well...I don't think Tamaki is going to survive that long.

Ba-Dump! Ba-Dump! Ba-Dump!

'Oh dear god, ..I-I want to go home!' He cried in his head as his face and ears glowed into a bright red hue.

Chapter Two ~The Little Bunny~

I-I...ultimately got a patient and It's him. Suneater! He's so dreamy and I'm-I'm so ew! I can't...I can't manage this. He probably thinks...I'm disgusting in this uniform...It's extremely short in the back... Oh my god, my hands are trembling. 

I have to be getting out of here before I faint like last time with All Might...Damn it! What was the point of bringing that up?! That happened three years ago! Oh no My legs are turning into jelly!'

The nurse hushed up her flustered expression behind the wooden clipboard at hand. Thankfully for her, On the other side of the room, The boys were inattentively unaware of (F/N)'s meltdown. Mainly because of Amajiki experiencing the same calvary.

"Ms. (L/N) Please report to the front desk forthwith! Again, Ms. (L/N), please report to the front desk momentarily!"

The announcement blissful words put (F/N)'s unstable nerves to rest at ease that being said the nurse bolted out the room. However, with legs like jelly, She didn't far before collapsing to the floor.

"(F/N), You left your Paxil at home. You can't function without them, I've advised this before."Dr. Hanji scolded lifting (F/N) off the floor."In order for you to work in my hospital, you have consistently keep these in your possession cottontail."

Dr. Hanji harshly shoved a standard dose down her throat. " Let this be the last time this happens." She shot a death glare at (F/N) through her glasses making (F/N)'s hairs stand on end. "Now, Take a nap until the pill sets in" Dr. Hanji plunged her on a bed in a vacant room and left without another word.

As the nurse slipped into slumber, Our little elf was trying to hide from life.

"Tamaki, You can't stay under the covers forever." Mirio struggled mightily tried to pry the blankets off his anxious friend. The "Holy Sunshine, I knew you were strong but...This...is..ridiculous!"

The blond dropped to his knees after an intense 'game of tug of war' with Amajiki that he lost miserably. The anxious elf quaked underneath the thick hospital blanket.

Mirio sighed hopelessly, "Tamaki, It's alright I'm confident that she's a very nice woman right Ms.(L/N)?"He stood nonplussed, spotting no cute little nurse in sight."Oh, She's gone."

Amajiki ear's twitched alertly as he snatched the blanket slightly to confirm the truth with a quick peek. He took a breath of relief sitting up carefully to not exasperate his dreadful wound. The elf sat in dismay believing he caused her to feel unwanted because of his sheepish behavior.

'I'm Tamaki Amajiki the man who can take down three villains at once but cowards before a cute- um innocent woman. How terrible.' He mocked at his own expense.

"Tamaki, There's is nothing to be afraid of. Just do what you always do and imagine her as something else." Mirio smiled brightly.

'M-Mirio right. Why would this time be any different? Okay, I um think I can do this. I hope.'

Amajiki lips quivered in fear and his ears flinched at the familiar clicking heading towards the door.

"Hello, I'm back" (F/N) greeted the boys with a heartwarming smile." I apologize for leaving without excusing myself properly."She bowed humbly.

"Please forgive me."

" Oh, it's no big deal. We barely noticed you were gone." Mirio scratched the back of his neck. "Right, Tamaki?"

Amajiki hummed along bashfully.

"Ok then" The nurse prop the heavy hospital door to pull through an even heavier cart.

"Let me, Miss, " Mirio sprung naturally into action after catching sight of the little lady's struggles." It's stuck on something" He snatched the cart into the room his sudden forceful pull caused some on the contents on the cart to fall off. " Oops, sorry about that."

"Ok, it's alright no harm done." (F/N) and Mirio gathers all the misplaced contents and sets them in their correct arrangements. " Thank you."

"You're welcome. Say what made you want to become a nurse."

"When I was little, I use to always love helping people when they got 'Boo-boos'. That love drove me through all my hardships, and I'm doing what I love. Kissing people's boo-boos like Mr. Amajiki"

Hot steam burst out of Amajiki's hot pink ears. Why does she have to do that? Why does she have to mention his name in that gorgeous silky voice? The poor man was already on edge anyway.

'Just I-imagine... Imagine her as so-something else.' Amajiki finally reiterated looking at (F/N) while she's distracted. 'Nothing... She's still a per-person.' Before he panics again, his breath as taken away by her radiant beauty. She is unusually adorable... Like a Bun-Bunny?!'

A white fluffy cottontail absorbed his attention. Speechless, Amajiki gripped his sheets and swayed his head.

'She's a bunny?! N-No, I'm just imagining things... Like always, but I never imagine a person as an animal before, so why now?'

Amajiki furrowed his brows, chewing on his bottom lip as if it were gummy. Have I reached a new all-time low? I'm helpless.'

The elf huffed gripping the hospital gown's collar that seems to be strangling him by the minute, A soothing, gentle touch on his forehead caused his muscles to tense up.

"Thankfully, your fever has gone down."

A glorious voice of milk and honey gently teased Amajiki's twitching ears as his poor weak heart skips a beat. 'S-She's so close! '

"All I have to do is change your bandages, then I will let you rest. Please take your arm out the sleeve please."

The elf's blood ran cold as she stared at his abdomen. ' I should start working out with Mirio. My pudgy body is not really of hero status.'

" What are your favorite things? Mr. Amajiki " (F/N) felt his severely shaking body and decided to make small talk to take his mind off his personal worries.

" M-my... Favorite things? "

" Yep, Like I love my job... Butterflies- "

"I Love B-Butterflies too," Amajiki shyly smiled, keeping his head turned towards the wall. " I love... Fluffy b-bunnies... They are the cutest."

Amajiki hissed in terrible pain as she cleaned his wounds.

" Thank you...I love you too Mr. Amajiki " She teased wrapping his wounds.

Like fragile glass, Amajiki's nerves broke into pieces. " What-what...I never um I didn't say...Well, I'm not saying you're not cute but your...I. "

The faithful nurse stared at the hectic elf in awed. " Well, You stated that you loved bunnies and coincidentally I'm a bunny. Sooo You love me and I love you too."

*Mwah*

Amajiki's anxious eyes went pure white as her ruby rosy lips connected to his cheek. The poor anxious elf blacked out on contact.

"Oh my goodness, Mr. Amajiki?!"

" Don't worry, he's fine. He does this a lot." Mirio chuckled tucked Amajiki in.

"He always does this?! "

i. ACTS OF SERVICE

bakugou katsuki will not tell you how he feels about you at the beginning of your relationship, nor will he say it often when you finally have said those words to each other. he is a firm believer of actions over words, which is why katsuki will help you train, study with you, make sure you eat well, and go to bed on time. it is all because he loves you.

ii. GIFT GIVING

with a childhood and family like his; it is no surprise that todoroki isn’t aware of the way he expressing or likes receive love. and to be completely honest he most likely will not understand he liked you as more than a friend until the dekusquad points out to him that getting you things that ‘remind him of you’ every time he goes out… means something more. as you usually don’t think of your friend that often, nor do you get them a bike bell because you missed them.

iii. PHYSICAL TOUCH

as a pro hero it’s part of the ‘hawks’ brand to be smiley and looking casual. it makes it seem like he is easy going when in reality keigo is calculating every second of every interaction he is having. it is not even an exhortation when he says that he plans when he takes a breath. so, at the end of the day when he can finally go home, shred the hawks persona and be just takami as he lays with you. having your fingers gently stroke through his hair as he listens to the soft thumbs of your heart beating; completely relaxing him, he feels incredibly loved.

iv. QUALITY TIME

it is no secret that amajiki is very anxious, especially around people he doesn’t know very well. this situation was no different he had his head firmly pressed against the wall after trying and failing to imagine everyone as potatoes. even though you have known tamaki since your first year, you did not know him very well. apart from the obvious things that you will eventually find out by simply being in the same class with the boy.

It was not that hard, there were only twenty people in class 3-A and and now all of you lived together too. you were bound to pick up on things.

so, when mirio isn’t there to help the anxious boy out, and you take the time to just stand there with him. trying — and kind of succeeding — to counsel him to calmness by describe your classmates as your fantasied vegetables, he appreciates it more then he can ever put into words.

v. WORDS OF AFFORMATION

from a young age shinsou has been told he was inheritedly distrustful due to the nature of his quirk; how with a single response he can make you do everything he wants. it’s because of that, he knows how important words are. so when you talk to him, seemingly unfazed by the fact that he could brain wash you any moment made him appreciate you greatly.

even when you ramble on about nonsense he has never really thought about and you care so deeply about. he does try to match your energy; and when the topic of heroes comes up and you tell hitoshi — yes, you get to the first name basis by talking and eventually connecting with him during lunch break — he will be a great hero one day, his heart exploded.

“baaaabe.” you say gently poking your head into the bedroom in your shared apartment. “y-yes love?” he responds, head looking up from the book he had in his lap.

you grinned and ran to the bed, launching yourself onto it. he made a sound of surprise as he scrambled to curl himself away from the way you jumped onto the bed.

you sat up on your knees and slapped your thighs, tamaki stared into your wide eyes and swore he saw sparkles in them. his face flushed at how close you were to him, noses practically brushing against each other.

“wha-what is it bunny?” he asked you, as you kissed the tip of his nose. “can we try something with your quirk?” you ask.

the poor boy froze and stared wide eyed, his face leaving his blank expression which then exploded into a flustered embarrassed look. you swear you saw steam coming out of his ears as he slumped down. confusion settling in on your face until a blush creeped up on your own.

“no no no! not like that! cochino” you say fanning your poor boyfriend. “what did you mean?” he quietly asked as you rested his head on your thighs, the blush never leaving his face.

“what have you eaten for your quirk?” you ask as he looks up at you, thinking for a moment. “well, chicken, ta-takoyaki, horse meat, clam, cow, and i think that’s all...” he thought aloud,

“there was also that crystal from the shie hassaikai raid.” he mumbles, “oh yeah! i remember that, well i doubt that tastes any good.” you respond, watching him shake his head, remembering the way the crystal went down his throat, nearly coughing at the memory. while you bounced excitedly in place at your idea, you just had to ask him, “can i feed you some stuff?” you ask bending down to press your forehead against his.

“sure bunny.” he said gently with a smile that matched yours. he reached a hand up to run it through your hair, making you giggle and place a kiss onto his lips.

“be right back.” you say getting up and running to the kitchen, to gather a bunch of foods and produce, running back into the room after about three minutes. tamaki sat criss cross on the bed, waiting patiently for your return.

you jumped back onto the bed, arms full of different foods. sitting in the same position as him, you lay out the foods next to you, tamaki staring at them warily.

you scoop up a piece of birria and hold it up to his mouth, “say ‘ah’.” you say laughing as he shyly opened his mouth blushing as you fed him. he chewed and swallowed, watching you as you waited for the food to settle. “okay go!” you saw after a few minutes, watching as he thought for a moment. suddenly, two little horns began to grow atop his head.

“woah!” you shout as you gently rub the horns, tamaki even watches in awe, eyes darting to the mirror on your vanity to check out his reflection. “now this.” you say holding up a piece of chicharrón to his lips.

he bites into the crunchy snack, flinching a bit at the loud noise it made while also leaning over your cupped hand to catch the crumbs. watching him chew and swallow, you ate the remaining piece and waited for him to activate his quirk.

he quickly covered his face and his eyes scrunched shut at a feeling in his nose, “you okay??” you ask slightly worried it may have had a negative effect on him, only to relax when he felt the tension in his nose dissipate, he did however feel something different.

slowly removing his hands, an adorable pig nose was in place of tamaki’s, the new feature twitching at the scent of the other foods.

“aw!! how cute!” you coo, pulling him into a hug, his face buried in your chest until he managed to wiggle his way out.

“next!” you cheer, looking through your various snacks and foods, this time unwrapping a paleta payaso.

“bunny that’s a lolly pop, i-i don’t think anything’s going to happen.” he says a little dejectedly, you chuckle and plant a kiss to his cheek, smiling when he flushes and tries to hide his face.

“can’t hurt to try, toma, it’s marshmallow inside.”you say holding the candy up to his lips, you wait patiently for him to take a bite, and when he does, his face lights up.

“t-this is really good.” he nods and tries to activate his quirk, only to become saddened when he sees nothing happened. before he could apologize, you gasp, “are you feeling okay? you went pale!” you explain, moving a hand to hold his hand, only to squeeze it.

that may sound normal, but no, your hand was really squeezing his like it had no bones, in face, the more you poked and prodded you realized his whole body was,

“like a marshmallow!” you laugh out, watching him pinch his own skin in amazement, “that actually might be useful...” he says more to himself.

“okay, what about this?” you say holding up a concha, “okay, now i really think that isn’t going to do anything.” tamaki offers, a little more excited to try the snacks and foods you’d feed him, even if some may not work with his quirk.

“just try it.” you say as he once again takes a shy bite of the pan dulce you fed him, waiting a moment and activating his quirk. he stared at his hands and watched as they slowly turned pink, both your gaze and his watching in awe as his whole skin turned a light pink.

“guess it’s the dye?” you offer. you noticed he had a few crumbs of sugar left on his cheek, so you slyly went and licked away the crumbs making him stutter. “wait!” you shout, making him jump and freeze. you lean in again and lick his cheek a bit, offering the poor boy no personal space, “tamaki, you’re sweet!” you cry out.

“i’m what??” he asks, lifting his hand to offer the tip of his finger a gentle lick, only to reel back in surprise when he did in fact taste sweet.

“if that’s what that does, only god knows what would happen to you if you tried a mazapán.” you joke to yourself, tamaki not understanding your implication.

“okay last one,” you say as you hand him a pansy flower, making him arch a brow and stutter. “it’s edible, I promise. my grandmother taught me this.” you say as he took the flower from your hand, biting it off it’s stem, chewing and swallowing it.

soon enough, small buds began to sprout all over his arms and a few on his face. you cooed at how adorable he looked covered in the purple and gold flowers. a few smaller ones that splayed across his face looked almost like freckles. some even grew out of his hair!

“ay que lindo!!” you shout. enamored with your boyfriend, you took his face in your hands and gently placed a kiss on his lips. tamaki sat rigid but soon melted into your kiss.

after a few gentle moments, you felt him place his hands over yours and kiss back. “i love you.” he says softly as more flowers begin to bloom over him, making you kiss the empty spots on his cheeks. “i love you too, Tama.” you say placing the final chaste kiss on his lips

“Y/n I’m home!” Tamaki exclaimed as he saw your shoes by the door.

“Welcome back!” You said as you wrapped your arms around him. His warm body melted into yours as he hugged you back. Tamaki nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck gently, mumbling something about being exhausted.

“Yeah? Tired love? I know you work so hard,” you say to him, a soft smile on your face, “Go freshen up Tama, I’ve got a surprise for you afterwards.”

With a reluctant grumble, Tamaki pulled away from the warmth of your body and went into your shared room to take a shower and change out of his hero clothes. You had the luxury of being able to arrive home before your longtime boyfriend and fiancé Tamaki had, so you’d gone out again to pick up some takoyaki and other takeout along with his favorite snacks.

It had been a while since you and Tamaki had been able to spend some quality time together due to your busy schedules, and you thought a low energy netflix and chill date would be great seeing how tired you both can be at the end of the day.

As you got a movie you both wanted to watch ready and pulled out a blanket and some pillows to share, you heard Tamaki’s soft footsteps padding down the halls of your house. His eyes widened in surprise as he saw the setup which had previously gone unnoticed by him. His slightly extended silence at the sight of what you had done caused you a bit of anxiety.

“Do you not like it? I thought we could just netflix and chill but if you don’t want to or are too tired I understand.” You said hesitantly, breaking the silence between the two of you.

“No. No! I love this so much, thank you bunny,”he said quickly, snapping out of his reverie, “I was just surprised.” A soft blush adorned his cheeks as he finished his sentence, unable to find the words describe the feeling of pure love and adoration that flooded through his body the moment he saw you on the couch, setting up a date with all his favorite things. His favorite foods, his favorite snacks, his favorite blanket, and his favorite person. God he loved you so much.

Quickly, Tamaki sat down next to you on the couch, wrapping his arms around you and grabbing a pack of chips off the table nearby as you turned on the movie. Once you two had your fill of food and snacks, your bodies pressed up against each other under the weight of the blanket as you eventually shifted into a comfortable position.

Tamaki was laying down directly on the couch while you were laying down on top of him, head resting on his chest, one of his hands intertwined with yours, playing with the engagement ring that rested on your ring finger, while his other hand wrapped snugly around you waist.

Slowly the movie was forgotten as you both drifted off to sleep, Tamaki muttering out a soft ‘love you’ before the dreams pulled him in.

You really should netflix and chill more often.
