I absolutely love Asgore as a character and how tragic he is! He also reminds me of my father a ton so it amplifies my love for his character by 10x! His battle theme is amazing too, I just dont really get why he had so much hate from people in the past tho

Alright, the "eggs-husband" joke was funny, it was just how it was used that made it bad. Imagine seeing your ex-wife (who absolutely hates your guts and would probably put you in the nastiest dumpster known to man and set it on fire) talking to someone, and deciding it would be a good idea to try fixing your relationship by inserting yourself into the conversation with an awful pun. That's why its cringe. Asgore needs to learn to read the room.
i think asgore is just a little pathetic but toby didn't show it off enough in undertale so he had to up the ante by like ten thousand percent in deltarune
A Different Undertale
I have a new AU idea but this one is more story focused than art focused and also contains adult themes. So be warned!
This is basically a fusion between Underfell, Mafiatale, and Negatale with some minor inspirations from Lusttale and Horror/Axetale
In this universe the humans sealed the monsters underground but along with them, they sealed away their pain and suffering. So the humans have found nothing but peace and prosperity while the monsters have violence and suffering. And any human who falls underground will have their hope taken away.
When Chara fell while trying to meet the monsters the broke their arms and legs and were reduced to a wheelchair. Despite this Asgore (who resented humanity) was still suspicious of them so when Asriel accidentally poisoned himself (unrelated to Chara) he blamed Chara and killed them. Toriel was banished to the Ruins for helping humanity and has since developed memory loss. She doesn't remember who killed her children all she knows is it was someone she loved (so when she fights you she assumes that person was you meaning you can't run away). Asgore declared war on humanity and banned all human creations like anime, magicless weapons, and even homosexuality.
The underground is filled with despair, gangs, drugs, violence, and injustice. Only the kindness of one human, who fell and lost all their memories, can save them

Day 03: Bait
And today on Animal Planet we have a dragon-goat-kinda-thingy that everyone calls "Assgore" in his natural habitat. Our brave correspondent is trying to bait it, but for some reason this heart-shaped carton cut-out doesn't seem to interest him that much.
This year's Inktober makes me experiment a lot, so today I forgot about hatching and decided to use watercolor. And I really liked it! I love the texture it makes, tho I'm obviously not very good with it. Again, I need practice. But I wanted to practice with hatching too, so maybe I need to combine them 🤔
Day 04: Freeze
