Another week, another drama.
In the first place, we know boc and Jeff tried try their best to make Barcode always confortable. JeffBarcode made a lot of workshops where they gain trust to each other and to point their limits, so they know how far they can go following those limits and have a safe and healthy environment. Jeff is Barcodeās mentor, heās learning from him, acting and musically and Iām happy for him bc Jeff is truly a hardworking talented person and has been in the industry longer so he knows the hardships.
In the second place, why is always their age difference so controversial?! of course if you see them as a romantic relationship from the start (the actors of course) it's weird and uncomfortable and that's maybe because you see it that way (surely the industry has influenced you) but jeffbarcode don't have a romantic relationship! they are firstly two people doing their job and secondly they are FRIENDS! And they also trust each other and Jeff literally does everything possible so that Barcode feels comfortable and included in the cast. What's wrong with interacting with someone who is 9 years younger! Donāt you have friends who are older, a sibling, a relative, a person with whom you trust? ātheir age difference makes me uncomfortable", that's because YOU, from the inside your heart, already see them as a romantic couple and not as just co-workers.
Also it was just a check kiss, it isnāt like barcode will be traumatized from it. He literally read and showed the books on one live. He knows the story so do his parents, the ones who say what and what not their son can do. KimChay is mean to be a soft couple and they wonāt have the same vibes as the other couples. Barcode has been doing such a great job and itās sad how people only see his age and his wonderful job when he really tried his best and now you can see heās more confident talking in public and thatās mostly thanks to jeff for taking care of him and for being his safe place. When he nervous, he always touch jeff so he can keep calm. Just because heās a minor we shouldnāt ignore his acting. I hope this drama doesnāt make them awkward with each other and that their friendship stuffers.
Lastly important words: LIMITS AND TRUST.
