It was the night before when Siyeon said

"Let's make a poster filled with his pictures! And we can alll write little notes for him too!" Siyeon thought it would be the best gift since he was the visual of the group.

They had many pictures of each other. The group always carried one camera when they went on set or when they went to an amusement park in private. And at the end of the year, the all sit down and make a yearbook filled with their memories and laugh about all the things that happened. This was again, Siyeon's idea. It was a good tradition though. They could take a break from the whole world and all the cameras.

Now, that it was the eldest member's birthday, everyone wanted to do something special. He did the cooking, the laundry, and most of the things that was needed to be done in order to live. They were very thankful for all the things he did for the group.

But nobody knew exactly what to do so they decided it was best if they did something for him all together. They gathered while Seokjin went shopping with Aeri and decided they would be making a special poster for him and doing all the housework for him.

For him to not get suspicious, everybody wrote him the little letter that they would stick to the poster during the day time. Sadly, Jia couldn't cooperate in the poster making process because he would get suspicious if the Jia that couldn't stay up unless it was another NBA game was walking out of the bed at midnight, he'd surely be curious to what she will do. So, Jia made her part of the poster in the study room of the company. Not many knew about the room and nobody would come in without knocking so it was the best option.

They gathered in the small living room again at midnight. Siyeon was spreading the big poster with one corner of it neatly made which was Jia's part. They all began to stick the pictures that they picked out during the day. There were the good looking ones and the funny ones. To add a bit of humor, Jungkook said. The biggest picture in the middle was the one they took at the park when they went on a picnic. A lovely grandmother insisted on taking a picture for them since they all looked so happy; like a big family. It was their best memory for now.

By the time they all finished, it was 3 am. They all put their hearts in it and they tried their best to express how much they love him.

Now, the big day. Yoongi and Aeri woke up faster than Seokjin and made breakfast for everybody. They made pancakes because they had a day off and had time. A special breakfast for a special day.

"Oh, good morning. Did I wake up late than I usually do?" Seokjin woke up when they were finishing off the last batch of pancakes.

"Oh, Good morning and happy birthday Oppa!" Aeri went on and gave him a big hug. "And you're not late, it's you're birthday so you are forbidden to do any chores for today."

"Yeah, Hyung, relax for a day please."

"Aww thanks guys." He hugged Aeri back, ruffled her hair a bit and went to hug Yoongi even though he cringed a bit.

"What are you making?"

"Pancakes! Thought it would be nice to have something special." It was Aeri's idea to have pancakes for breakfast. She even cut some fruits that she bought yesterday and had maple and chocolate syrup out on the table. Everybody liked different things so she thought it was best to lay everything out and let them pick out what they want. She even had yogurt for people who didn't want pancakes.

"That's nice, I'll go get the members. Some should be already awake by this time." He went on before the 2 could protest.

First stop was Namjoon, Taehyung and Aeri's room. Namjoon should be awake so he'd tell him to wake Taehyung up.

He knocked the door before opening it. "Good morning Namjoon, breakfast's dons so can you wake Tae up and head down stairs?"

"Oh, Good morning. Are you going to the other rooms?"

"Yeah, Yoongi and Aeri made breakfast. Tae's gonna love it."

"Okay, I'll go. And happy birthday Hyung!"

"Thank you!" He said as he closed the door, going to Hoseok, Jimin, and Yena's room. And after that he was going to go to Jungkook, Nayeon, and Siyeon's room.

"Good morning~" Seokjin called out while knocking the door.

"Morning, Hyung!" As always, Hoseok was up. He was the easiest to wake up.

"Is Jimin still sleeping too?"

"Yeah, they're both sleeping."

"Can you wake them up? I need to go to koo's room."

"Sure, Hyung. Oh, and happy birthday!" He answered him quickly, knowing that those 3 were hard to get out of bed.

"Thanks Hobi~"

And now going to the room where 3 heavy sleepers are gathered. He didn't knock like he did with the others 'cause he knew that they would be sleeping.

"Good morning sleepy heads!" He said and opened the curtains. He guessed that was because they knew it was a day off and they wanted to sleep as long as they want without the disturbance of sunlight. But today, Yoongi and Aeri made pancakes for breakfast and Seokjin knew if they missed it, they'd blame him even though it's his birthday.

"What time is it?" Siyeon, who was almost awake asked.

"It's almost 9. Yah~, Nayeon-ah we have pancakes for breakfast. Don't you want to eat them while their warm?"

"Wait, we have pancakes?" Jungkook who was hiding in the thick layers of the duvet, peeked out, curious.

"Yeah, Yoongi and Aeri made them. They looked really good Nayeonnie." He once again called out the girls name who was still laying down.

"Yoongi Oppa and Aeri's cooking is the best." She replied and finally got up.

"What! What about mine?!"

"I didn't say your cooking tastes awful." She ran out of the room with a teasing smile. "Yah! come back here you brat!"

And with that, the 3 went down to the living room.

Now to the last person.

Seokjin went in the room that he shared with Yoongi and Jia. It wasn't that big because they gave away the bigger ones to the others. So, they only had 2 beds. One was for him, and the other was Yoongi's. Jia would sleep in whichever bed she liked. Today, she was in Seokjin's to cuddle with him and not let him go around the house.

"Wake up Jia~" He called out quietly. She didn't like loud voices.

"hmm" She only let out sleepy hum, not even half awake.

"Yoongi and Aeri are cooking." He said to her, knowing that she would get up as soon as he said that.

"Really?" Her voice was still thick from sleep, her usually deep voice sounding deeper. And now that she was talking, Seokjin knew she'd wake up soon. He knew Jia didn't want to miss the meal that was made by her members.

"You awake?" "Yeah, Good morning Hyung. And Happy birthday."

"Thanks, JiJi."

Now, they were all in the living room. Some eating, and the others doing their own stuff.

"Hey, can we give him the present?" Yena spoke up. She was impatient and wanted to give the present to him that she (and the members) made with all of her heart.

"Sure," Namjoon noticed how the Maknae's eyes lit up.

On cue, Nayeon ran to her room and got the big poster they all made. While that happened, the Maknae line came up to Seokjin and covered his eyes.

"Hey hey hey, what's it with the blindfolds and things?"

"It's a surprise! It's pretty big so prepare yourself!" He could hear Siyeon giggling and Yoongi chuckling a bit so he wasn't going to be really nervous but, you never know what they can do with Namjoon and Yoongi; the smart ones on their side.

"I'm back!" Seokjin didn't hear her rushing so he expected it to be something you need to take care caution. Was that a good thing or a bad thing?

But he wasn't entirely wrong, said poster was a big paper with more papers and picture glued on.

"Can I take off the blindfolds now?" A few "Yes" were heard in the room.

Taking it off, he blinked a few times, adjusting to the light and what he saw after that was a big picture of him in the middle; the one that he said he liked how he looked, and letters and photos of him and the whole group.

Once he took every single corner of the big poster, he knew everyone, including him had a big smile on their faces.

The top right corner was Siyeon, she wrote a big 'Happy Birthday' with all the colors in the world. There was a little letter attached to it. He was going to read them when everyone was asleep.

On Siyeon's left, it was her other half, Nayeon. Just like her goofy personality, she put on some funny photos of him here and there too.

Aeri was more chic? She had decorated her part of the poster with dark blues and deep greens. She organized everything so it would be matching the aesthetic she wanted.

Yena was like Aeri too. Instead she used more brighter colors. She used those smiley stickers and just looking at that, made him happy too.

Jia had her part just under Siyeon's. It looked quite the opposite too. Where Siyeon had used vibrant colors, Jia used photos that was only black and white. And there was a portrait of him on the center of her part. It looked like she wrote a letter on the back side of the paper. He would read it after Siyeon's.

"Do you like it?" Nayeon and Siyeon asked. Those 2 played a big role making it.

"I love it! Thank you all so much." He was getting all teary now,

"Oh my gosh, Hyung are you crying?" Jimin said in a teasing manner but he, himself was starting to feel the tears that was about to fall down his cheeks.

"Wait what! No no no no no, Nobody's crying Nooooooo"

And then there's our crybaby Nayeon, she just sensed somebody crying and that made her cry too.

"Hey, it's my birthday. I'm the one that should be crying."

They all broke in to a fit of laughter, and everyone had a smile on their faces.

"Thank you guys, really. I love it! Filled with my handsome face." He said with the biggest smile.

He truly meant what he said. Being the eldest in the dorm was never easy. But their happy faces made all the struggles worth it. It was what gave him strength and make those gray days brighter than he could ever imagine.

"Best birthday. Thanks to you all"

HOLY SHIT, THIS IS GENIUS.

It’s about present distribution. If you get presents in June, July, August or September and then chirstmas you get presents, like, every six months. (Not including the candy of Easter and stuff) especially if you’re born in June. Every six months you have a celebration. When you’re born in December, you don’t have a nearly as even distribution of presents. You genuinely get them once a year. And some people cop out by making your Christmas present a birthday present too. Like that’s not how this works. Or they forget about you and you just don’t get them until like March. Also? Not as many options for parties and people don’t show up. Genuinely had a few birthdays where like 1 or 2 people showed because I was also born on the 31st of December. I get this lil guy.

After her death on 8th September 2022 at the age of 96, her oldest son Prince Charles (then Prince of Wales) and his second wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall became Britain's new King and Queen and their coronation has been started in May 2023.

Ok so we all agree that Will doesn’t know his birthday and I wanna share my take for that headcanon

No one knows his birthday. The adults who looked after the ward didn’t want him to feel left out, and ended up dubbing the day he arrived at the ward as the day they’d celebrate his birthday. He was too young to have any opinions on this when they decided, and by the time he was old enough to form his own thoughts on it, the tradition was already pretty established and he didn’t feel like he could change it.

He hated it. Everyone was treating that day with celebration, but to him, it was just a big slap in the face; a reminder of the life he could’ve had if he weren’t orphaned. He’d spend his birthdays by himself, or at least he’d try to. Everyone still wanted to celebrate, so finding a spot to be alone was difficult.

He would’ve asked everyone to leave him alone, but he felt like it would be for naught. When he was really young, maybe when he was turning 6, he bursted out crying on his birthday because he just wanted to be alone. Horace made fun of him for this, and Will got the impression that no one would care or listen if he told them he hated the celebration.

Halt never celebrated his birthday when he became his apprentice, without him even asking. He thought Halt just didn’t know his birthday, and he wasn’t going to tell him. In reality, Halt knew, but he also saw how much Will hated his birthday and thought it best to not celebrate.

As he grew up and especially as he found his own family, he grew less disdainful of his birthday, eventually celebrating it himself with the people closest to him. It was no longer the day he was torn from his “real” family, but instead it was the day his life became what it was. It was painful and beautiful and perfect, and he wasn’t going to let what his life could’ve been stop him from appreciating what he had.

my fatal flaw is that if a charecter dosent have a proper birthiday in cannon,i declare thier birthday is my birthday, and shhhh i wont listgen to anyone so dont tell me thieir bithdayy la la la la cant hear they are all born in december.

Do any of y'all ever think to yourselves "Birthdays suck. I wish I didn't have one."?

Sometimes I wish I lived in another world preferably Assassin's Creed. I'd be alone but at least I wouldn't be with somebody that makes me feel alone.

Wonder how the assassin's creed characters would react to my birthday. Probably wouldn't care. I don't know it's fun to wonder sometimes though.

Steve Roger’s Age

So I always wondered how old Steve actually was when he enlisted. From this screenshot we can see he was born in 1918 and in the bottom left hand corner we can see that “todays” date is in 1943. That means Steve would have enlisted when he was 25 but his birthday is in July and the date in the corner is June so he enlisted when he was 24. 

But the Battle of the Valkyrie took place in February of 1945 (MCU Wiki) so he went into ice when he was 26. Not only that but he’d been fighting for roughly two years already. 

Here is a list of how old every original Avenger (with known birthdates on a human timescale) were during the Battle of New York in age order. 

Bruce Banner - 42

Tony Stark - 41

Natasha Romanoff - 27

Steve Rogers - 26 

This means that not counting his years in ice Steve was one of the youngest, if not the youngest Avenger!
