Having formed at great depths and only available to us after traveling to the surface of the earth in a lava flow and subsequentially weathering out of their rocky host, Peridot crystals make quite a journey to get to us. Because of this process, Peridot crystals always show some degree of surface wear and will never display the crisp, geometric edges of minerals that can be mined in their primary formation. Despite this geological joy-ride, some Peridot crystals can be found with a distinct crystal form- and this is one of them! A particularly bright green and featuring notable brilliance considering the material, this perfectly petite natural peridot crystal is an attractive and desirable specimen.<br><br>Origin is Pakistan.
