And once those amalgam universes form they cause a magnet effect and start pulling in other au’s, meshing both terrain and people until you can’t even tell what the creatures were before the collision. The world itself is covered in glitches as the codes fight for dominance. There are rarely survivors from events like collisions but Error does what he can.

Unfortunately, the amalgams can’t be saved after merging as they are deeply imbedded in the codes of the worlds. As soon as one person is anchored to two worlds, they can’t leave without dusting. The only place they could theoretically survive in would be the save screen but it’s harder to get there than it is to get the amalgams out of their universes. That doesn’t stop Error from trying though.

POV: You started thinking what if Error was almost the exact opposite. As in, he loves touch and is happy all the time. And all of a sudden there's a destroyer running around in your head giving people hugs and buttons. Like, he somehow has a collection of buttons that he just gives to people he thinks needs it! And if he gets too excited he crashes.

And now there are two gremlins in your head because if Error crashes when he's happy then Ink pukes when he's stressed.

Now there's an Ink with anger issues that hates how loud Error is. Ink is lazy and tired all the time but can still hold himself up in a fight if need be. He still creates but now he creates so much in one space that the au’s start running into each other and tearing each other apart. Error comes in, saves who he can and destroys the merging au’s before they form an amalgam universe.

Error and Core Frisk have their own secret alliance because everyone still sees him as the destroyer but Core knows why he has to.

Core has many gift buttons.

I woke up thinking this.

But their ability to manipulate emotions might change a few things.

My dreams are heavily influenced by my emotions in the moment, so if Nightmare made me fearful(cause I’m already mad) the dreamscape would turn on me and hit me with everything I’ve got. Nightmare wouldn’t even have to do anything but stare as I fought my own conscious.

And if Dream made me feel joy I might just end up trying to play with him instead of attacking.

I need to write this

This is going to be a story

So as a lucid dreamer myself, I was wondering how Dream or Nightmare would react to me or any lucid dreamer.

Like, as soon as I know I’m dreaming, I will shapeshift into a hawk or dragon or whatever I need/want. And while lucid I can feel everything in the dreamscape. So, if something moved that shouldn’t, I’d know immediately. I’m also very aggressive in my dreams. I have been torn apart in my dreams so I will attack first without hesitation. I don’t know about y’all but I prefer not to die over and over again. My attack forms are either human or dragon. A very specific dragon that I will draw in the future.

Let’s say Nightmare entered my dream, because let’s be fair he has more of a reason to with the whole spreading negativity thing, I’d feel the second he entered and my dreamscape would seal off protectively, effectively trapping the intruder inside my dream. I’d confront and, seeing his size and extra appendages, I’d go dragon. I’d attack first. Whether or not I win, I don’t know, but I’d fight dirty. The ground would roll and buckle under my influence and I’d move fast as thought despite my size. As soon as he realized he was trapped, Nightmare would fight out of desperation, giving him a boost.

After the fight, I would start questioning him, which I really should have started with. Most likely, I would have him restrained by then or we’d be glaring at each other, both severely wounded but I can’t die and won’t kill him.

If for some reason I met Dream first, the dreamscape would close off same as before but I would approach in human form. His bright colours would make me curious but I would still attack first. He’d probably talk me down during the fight or just outright surrender to show that he means no harm. If for some reason the fight continued, I would definitely cheat and go dragon until I restrained Dream.

Either way, the dreamscape wouldn’t loosen until I trusted the intruder and dreams can last years in a single night. So they’re stuck with me until I relax. Which, again, could be years later. Ironically, I don’t need sleep in my dreams.

I might turn this into a series or something, who knows?

Headcanon time!

Reaper actually hears when people beg for his embrace(ask for death) and has seen many extremely embarrassing moments. Many of which are people being flustered by their crush and stuff. So, a lot of Alphyses.

He is never seen by the person that called him or anyone nearby. No, he just watches and grins as the flustered person begs for Death and he does nothing.

These moments have made him a sucker for romance and a bit of a matchmaker on the side.

Headcanon Time!!

Since monsters are made of magic and not physical matter like humans, they are shocked by each and every tiny discovery the closer they get to a human.

And you don’t know why your monster friend (or lover, whatever you prefer) is getting so close to your face until they gasp: “Your eyes are like mirrors!”

Turns out, magic doesn’t reflect light, thus leading each monster to peer into their human friend’s eyes in wonder at the revelation.

“I can see what you see!” “I didn’t know you could do that…” and my personal favorite “The stars look really nice in your eyes.”

I got to hold a dragon today!

She was really sweet and sociable. And she was cold. Colder than I expected but not anywhere near freezing. Like a water bottle at room temperature. It holds no heat and neither did she.

Headcanon Time!!!

When Nightmare reads, if he’s not turning the pages, he will fidget with/scratch the closest thing to him. The little wooden paperweight duck that Dust carved for him has been worn down with how much Nightmare will twirl it in his hands while he’s distracted. Grooves from him drumming and picking at the desk are deep and old.

However, if you happen to catch Nightmare sitting on the couch in the living room, you will find yourself sat beside him while he rubs/scratches your back. To the other skeletons in the castle, those who lack muscles and thus muscle soreness, the scratching is very uncomfortable and they tend to avoid Nightmare while he reads.

But for a human, it’s heaven. It’s even better if you’re Nightmare’s love interest.

Nightmare, after noticing the positivity coming off you while he rubs your back, will search you out whenever he has time to read and just plop you down beside him and disassociate. He doesn’t even hold you there like he would the others. Just lets you melt into the back rubs while he reads. If you’re lucky, he might even read aloud.

Headcanon Time!!!!

Ink, in all his immortality, explored every nook, crevice, hole, cave, tunnel, lab, house, city, and literally everything each au had to offer before he met Dream or had to fight Error. He still explores, there are hundreds of new AUs to discover and explore, but he doesn’t do it as often.

Normally, the big fights happen in the older AUs that Ink fully explored. So Ink will randomly pull his team aside into a shortcut of tunnels or hidden cubby that no one could find. When questioned how he knew it was there, he’ll shrug; “I don’t know, I just knew it was there.”

This leads people to believe he knows the layout of an au just by being present, when really it’s just muscle memory from a constant state of exploration.

Two Headcanons for the price of one!!!!!

Horror is a sucker for dark humor. Especially jokes that make light of his old situation of slowly starving to death. A well placed pun is even better. You want to get on his good side quick? Make fun of starvation. Every else is really careful with joking about starvation in front of him because they think he’ll get upset but nope! He’ll laugh even harder than you.

A pun like; “And where are you from? Underfed?” Will earn you a burst of resonating laughter that you’d get from a bearded lumberjack.

And yes, the second headcanon is his laugh.

He laughs the kind of belly laugh you expect from an old bearded man that lives by himself in a cabin in the woods. The type of loud, contagious laughter that has people on the other side of the castle chuckling and wondering what’s so funny. He’ll slap his knee with an explosive thud and wipe the tears from his eyes when he’s done before telling you some of his own teasing jokes.

Good luck getting on his bad side now. He likes you.

The Bad Sanses homeschool Bean which leads to… complications…

Bean never thought anything was wrong. She was always a happy and smart kid, and she knew she was loved. The Bad Sanses took care of her, got her toys, played with her, et cetera. They would even sit with her and help her do her schoolwork.

She looked at the paper with confusion as Killer explained.

“See, it says it at the top of the page… ‘Find the odd one in the group.’” He pointed at the pictures on the paper. “So, what do you see right here?”

She leans closer. “A car, a boat, a bus, and another car.”

“So which one doesn’t belong?”

“……The boat?”

“Yes! Good job!” He offered her a high five which she smacked with a grin.

She looked back at the page. “But why can’t the boat be part of the group?”

“Well, it’s different. So it doesn’t belong.”

“Oh.” She continued to stare at the boat on the page. It was very different, but it was still part of the group.

…wasn’t it?

“You think you got this, kiddo?” Killer leaned forward to see her face, his eyelights barely visible in his sockets.

She nodded. “Yeah, I got it! Thanks, Kili!”

He smiled and walked around the table to talk to Dust which would probably end up with him teasing Dust and getting his butt whooped again. Bean turned back to the page.

Then she looked at her hands. Her hands were pretty small, especially next to Horror’s hands, but that didn’t bother her this time.

……Her hands didn’t look like her brothers’ hands. In fact, she didn’t look like her brothers. They were all made up of bones and magic but her? She was all squishy and soft. She was different, wasn’t she? The odd one. The one that… didn’t belong…

She looked back up at Killer and Dust. Dust had summoned a bunch of attacks and was sending them flying at Killer who expertly dodged them and countered with his own attacks. She couldn’t do that either. Summon attacks. Use magic.

The words on the paper glared at her. ‘Find the odd one in the group.’

“Well, it’s different. So, it doesn’t belong.”

She was different.

She didn’t belong.

After she finished her schoolwork, she locked herself in the bathroom and tugged at her skin for several hours. Nightmare found her and got her to open the door but she refused to answer any of his concerned questions.

So basically the poor girl has identity issues that leads to some very bad outcomes I’ll explain one day. But I kinda wanna leave y’all on a cliffhanger so this is all you’re getting for now.
