Next up in my #archetypes abundant archetype spotlight is Warriors, and Infernoble Knights! This archetype is based on the Song of Roland, a French epic about emperor Charlemagne and his closest companions! True to it's source, this deck focuses on getting our Roland and Oliver, two of Emperor Charles' closest companions, and then using them to synchro into His Royal Majesty himself! With a focus on equip spells, Emporer Charles blows up the board with his fiery passion, destroying a card whenever he gets a new card equipped to him! In addition, showing off their teamwork, the monsters in this archetype can return from the grave itself as an equip spell to aid one of their companions! You've gotta respect a warriors bond!
Bonus round: Black Luster Soldier!
I've always been a huge fan of chaos as a playstyle, banishing light and dark cards in order to bring out mighty monsters, and out of all the chaos archetypes my favorite has to be BLS. This archetype is based on Yugi's powerful ritual monster of the same name, and focuses on the rarely-used ritual mechanic, tributing light and dark monsters to give your main summon, Black Luster Soldier, more powerful effects! I love how the archetype uses tribute material, each one leaving a legacy as they don't just bring out your boss, they give it some help so you can always remember how much they gave up for your victory!

Jeongguk has no idea how Namjoon is going to clean up this mess. Confetti scatters the dark wooden floorboards like leaves burying the sidewalks during autumn. Silver streamers accompany the coloured flakes of paper and he swears that there’s a glob of ice-cream somewhere on the ground because the bottom of his slipper is suspiciously wet. He instinctively wants to put everything in order, make sense of the chaos surrounding him, but it’s a futile effort that’ll only be thwarted by the hordes of children occupying his friend’s house. So he settles for the garden instead, lounging by the towering lemon tree Namjoon planted a few years ago, where he has a scenic view of Taehyung almost burning the burger patties on the grill.
