Bright Clan - Tumblr Posts
Nuray's former designs ( the first design and redesign ), didn't look Slugterra-ish and I decided to re-redesign her, again. She won't possess any wings like her former designs. She will be a runner instead of a flyer. Like the Shadow clan, her outfit’s back will have pods attached to it, where she can put her slugs in. And her tail will possess 3-4 rings.
So, this redesign I drew was made about a year ago, and I have to say that I'm proud of how it turned out. But the one thing I should have changed is the outfit.
The reason is because the shadow clan (Nuray's a bright clan member, not a shadow clan member. Just using them as an example.) doesn't seem to wear any clothes. I actually looked up an image and noticed that they are just wearing armor on their shoulders and hips. And since the Bright clan is the opposite of the Shadow clan, but also similar in a few ways, and the they will take some design elements from that clan, I will redesign Nuray's outfit to be more "revealing".

Nuray's outfit redesign (Again…)
Sketched out a new outfit for Nuray, again.
Since Nuray's from the Bright clan, the clan itself resides in the Middle eastern cavern. So, Nuray is going to have a middle eastern inspired look to her outfit.
And for those who are wondering what the letters on the left side, SC, BC, and H stand for, it stands for: Shadow clan, Bright clan, and human. It's a size comparison chart.

An idea I had for the Bright Clan. Since Bright Clan members reside in cave holes, canyons, and other rocky terrain in the Middle Eastern Cavern, I had an idea of how their Libraries would look like.
(For some reason, I really love libraries and the way the inside looks like.)
Bright Clanners use libraries like how we humans use, I, E: Study and Reading.
They don't have that many books, but have more scrolls.
And the lamps in the library would be Turkish mosaic lamps. Example:
They would also use floor tables when they study/read.
Plus I also have some idea of how their home may look like. Here are some images as an example:

I'm honestly happy of how Nuray turned out.
Basic Info:
Name: Nuray
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Species: Bright Clan
Slugs: Asa (White boon doc), Piril (Phosphoro), Flurr (Hoverbug), and Gust (Hoverbug).
Abilities: Melee Combat. Enhanced senses like sight, hearing, smell, etc. Agile. Speed. Durability. Prehensile Tail. Owl Screech (Bright Clanners make Owl screeches.). Sharp claws and teeth.

Here is what I imagined the leader of the Bright Clan would look like. I wanted her to look well elegant in a way.

She has three tails but only the big one in the middle has a hand she can use to sling slugs.
The Name
Originally her name was gonna be Selehadin because it's a pretty-sounding name, but that name means The Righteousness of the Faith.
And I wanted a name that meant light, bright, illuminate, etc. And it has to be of Middle Eastern origin.
So, I got stuck on three names for her:
Alamafruz means Enlightener of the world.
Mashaal means Light, bright, etc.
And Ilknur means First Light.

Finally decided a name for her.
Also added four slugs. Two hoverbugs, one phosphoro, and one enigmo.

She's a few inches short compared to him, but she's the same size as the average shadow clanner.

It was hard drawing the Shadow clan leader, I had to look up many images of him to understand and get how his armor looked. In the end, I'm happy with the results.

Means "Halo of light around the moon" and/or “Halo of the moon”.
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Species: Bright Clan
Slugs: Mostly uses Phosphoro slugs.
Occupation: Entertainer of the Bright clan's main village, hence why there's a harp next to her. Advisor/Right-hand woman to Alamafruz.
Abilities: Same as any other Bright clanner, which is: Melee Combat. Enhanced senses like sight, hearing, smell, etc. Agile. Speed. Durability. Prehensile Tail. Owl Screech. Sharp claws and teeth.
Facts: She loves berries. Since she's an entertainer, she knows how to dance, sing, tell tales, etc.
Just because Bright clanners look all nice and friendly doesn't mean that they're weak, dumb, and naive.
Don't insult, mess, or treat Bright clanners like crap, because they can be just as aggressive (if not more) as Shadow clanners.
Week 1. Picked Ayla for the event. She traded a few grapes for the ticket. Grapes in the Middle eastern cavern are larger compared to the common ones, almost the size of a hand.
