A short Camibilly fic
March 1st,1975. The Dunne House.
"Billy,hey. How was the session today?" Camila asked her husband,smiling.
"Good,but I missed my girls." Billy picks up Julia,now almost four months old. She smiles.
"Looks like she's got my dimples, Cam," Billy observed, chuckling. He ran a finger over them, enamored.
"She does! Oh my God!" Camila replied, smiling. The baby giggled,hugging Billy's neck.
"She's a miracle,isn't she? I never thought I'd have kids. Or be a good dad. Thank you for believing in me,Cam. And thank you, Julia. Daddy loves you."
Camila smiled. "No need for thanks, Billy. I believed in you when we met. I always knew you were the guy I'd marry and start a family with. You're my soulmate, y'know. Mi alma gelma." Billy kissed her softly.
"I don't deserve you two, Cam. I really don't. But, I'll make sure that I do someday. I'll be the best husband and father possible. I'll take care of you and Julia. Be there for every milestone. Be there for every school play and soccer game,when she's older. I'll be 100 times the man Hank Dunne is. I'll prove that I'm a better dad and husband. I swear on my life."
Julia babbles in response, smiling.
"Looks like Julia believes in you too,Billy. She loves her dada more than anything," Camila comments.
Billy smiles. He loves Julia too. More than anything. He loves Camila.
Billy Dunne is happy,and nothing,no one,will ever change that.
