Two style tests I conducted with my fursona, Jucy.
I really tried to get into the whole "toony" style, which faszinated me, even though I'm more drawn to my semi realistic way of working. It was a breath of fresh air to not overdo myself on the shading and just.. have fun with some popping colors!
Schmetterlingskunde My girlfriends fursona and her uncle, one of my OCs, exploring butterflies in the desert. Funnily enough, the butterfly in his hands is colored like my fursona :P This is an older piece, maybe from a few months ago if I remember correctly. I still like the shading and vibe it gives off, although there are some mistakes I'd like to tackle the next time I do something similar.
"Calling death"
This one is a tad older, from 2 years ago & a commission I did for my girlfriend. It's her character, which I enjoyed drawing a lot! The pose and general composition was fun to do and I powered through this entire thing in a few hours due to my huge motivation. Maybe someday, I'll do something similar again!
"The wolf within"
An older reference sheet of mine of my viking character, Hati. She's a so called úlfheðinn (wolf-skinned or wolf-coat). I took some artistic freedom when it came to her clothes, since I wanted to fulfill a certain vision. Also the world she's coming from is not exactly Scandinavian, but more a fictional version in it's own kingdom. Maybe one day I'll create more lore for her world! I'm just... slow. There's so many OCs to attend to q_q

Mystery (The Dog)
Class: Predator Category: Assumed to be Nester or Hermit.
A 13th Reality Critter who usually takes form of a medium big dog form, true form unknown. They always look like a regular white german shepherd with a black nose and eyes and pink ears. (NOT A DOG) Their fur is of a high quality it is often mistaken as a lost expensive breed dog that would've belonged to a rich owner if it wasn't the fact has no tag or name or microchip. (NOT A DOG) was first called 'Mystery' by the humans who would try to take care of it whenever mistaking it for your ordinary canine companion. (ITS NOT A DOG)
Mystery has a record of being taken MULTIPLE TIMES into animal shelters across states of United States, with the stories ending up only the same, Shelters closing because of whatever was left of all animals staining the walls and crates thrashed about, and The Dog being gone. Has Also been Spotted in streets of Germany and Portugal and Canada.
Advice: If you hear the whereabouts of an Area with sudden increase of disappearances of pet or street animals disappearing, never approach the white canine, as it is NOT A DOG.
Day 106
A very quick charcoal sketch I did down by the river in my town
I have plans to work on a large painting where I can just play with shapes and colors and Im trying to get an idea for what its gonna be before I begin
Nothing Is sticking the the moment so I eventually much just start throwing paint at the canvas and going off of that

A painting of a maned wolf for my art class!
Im so so very proud of this guy! They looks amazing and is going directly onto my wall once I perfect the small details!
I love themmm!!!
(Also, the painting isnt 100% finished yet, but I couldnt wait any longer to post it. Plus, my mom took the picture so I already had it available so... This post will most likely be edited tomorrow with the completed painting)
