"So, um about this whole "sailing" thing, is this gonna involve lots of water... and terrifyingly open seas... w-with no way o-off?" Monster why the heck did you sign up for this, again?

"Welcome aboard mates! So many of you came all at once! Just to give ya’ a heads up,I’m the captain of this ship!"

"W-what, me? Scared? N-naw, I'm not afraid of anything! ...Except drowning. And sinking. And killer whales. And-" He dives for a lifeboat.

"Lots and lots of water! no way off the ship unless you goin’ to swim!"

"Why do you ask,one of me’ mates scared of a lil’ water?"

The panicking werehog started tugging on the ropes connecting the lifeboat to the main ship. "I-I'll row back! We aren't too far from shore... r-right?!"

"Sounds aqua phobic to me mat—-" Marine blinked surprised when he dived towards the lifeboat,"Watcha’ doin’ there mate!"

Only one hour?! That would be plenty of time for an idiot werehog to get lost at sea. ...If he could even get the lifeboat untangled. "Why did I think this was a good idea?! I wanna be back on land. Nice, firm land, no whales!" He leaned towards one side of the row boat before freaking out some and staying square in the center. Poor guy should really calm down.

"Umm—no,not by much,getting to shore from her will only be about one hour"

Cue the werehog scrambling back up on deck. "Oh thankyouthankyouthankyou!"

"I can take yer’ back to land! This boat haven’t backed down on me yet! getting there on this boat will only be 30 minutes!"

"Whata’ say! want a ride back to shore?"
