i want everyone to be okay. i want everyone to have a home this winter. i want my transgender friends and everyone else to be able to get the care they need. i want the rainforests to be restored. i want no one’s home to be destroyed in a flood. i want everyone to be able to eat. i want everyone to have someone to hug, if they so please. i want no one to worry about food or shelter or water or harsh pain and oppression ever again. i want everyone to be okay. please. please.

This was originally posted on 16th May this year. It's 19th July today, over 2 months later... & weather conditions in India have become worse. Today, the maximum temperature is 33°C & minimum is 28°C. (according to Google) The heatwaves are getting worse everyday. Monsoon spans from June-September in India. But guess what❓ .... rainfall has been extremely scanty for the past few weeks. It's horrible here.

Recently, it was 143.6°F in India. 143.6°

The issue with fireworks is that some people are not aware or simply just forget that fireworks have a huge negative affect on wildlife and even on domestic animals. Especially when living in the countryside. Our dogs for example get crazy, act completely irrational and even endanger themselves.
Fireworks greatly disturb wildlife around here, cause fear, stress and anxiety to poor animals. They panic, abandon their nests, burrows, logs, trees and flee their natural environment leaving their young behind without any chances to survive on their own. Also fireworks are always of course, initiated at night when birds can't fly. Why can't they fly? Because they just don't see in the dark. So they're panicking; flying around and don't know where to land, get short of breath, hit trees or buildings, have heart attacks to finally die and fall down on the ground.
That is very, but very cruel.
It does not only happen in my countryside but also in cities everywhere around the World.
So before initiating fireworks people, please have a special attention of what's living around you.
It happened before, it still happening and will happen again.

Sometimes being part of Gen Z is so fucking terrifying. From such a young age, so much pressure is put on us. Pressure to figure out who you are when you don’t know, pressure to do well in school when otherwise your future is ruined. The entire future is terrifying, because we don’t even know if we’ll have one. Older generations, and Boomers in particular, have deteriorated the environment but refuse to fix what they ruined. It’s not them that will have to deal with it in 30 years, it’s us. It’s us who will have to watch the world burn. We’re already watching it burn in Australia, and it will only get worse. We get told that don’t know anything because we are young. “You’re to young” is said to us about everything and it’s sickening. We were forced to grow up too fast and now you say we are are too young? Being a kid is Scary.

Day 5: Build. This took me a while, I was stuck until early on Monday morning, London in rush hour - not usually the most inspirating time and place - when, walking into Trafalgar Square with the beat of the Samba band drumming at my back, I suddenly felt that things were things were finally, actually, changing.
Rebels everywhere, thank you.

turn up, build a band:
from that, a movement rises.
We Are The Water.
