every time i start a new writing project i forget how much finding character names sucks smh
just a short thing I wrote
It was unobtainable. A simple goal. With it so close to my grasp I inch closer. When I reach my goal, it ends the chase. I'm left with everything I want, and yet now nothing.
I have no idea what this is but I found it ages ago and it's from the perspective of one of my characters (forgot which one).
Fall upon your reasons of life like clouds, And let them unscramble your muddled view. Never the angels nor the devils are here for you. Grasp those reasons with such force they create tears in your hands, As you gaze unto your future with a hazy glare. Call out the names of those you trust like a parrot chained up in an attic. In the end there's no crackers nor seeds they'll be able to spare. Command all of them to heaven and damn yourself to hell. Your eyes broken like the soul you possess. Do you fear the answer to the questions you so passionately scream into the soft light of dusk? The warmth gripping you like a hug. Cling to those reasons with all your forceful delusion, And know deep down suffering has been forced onto you.
This poem is about my connection to music, especially Gorillaz music.
Searching, unknowing. There I find it among all others. My future. The beginning now here. Money is a mere afterthought. Priceless is connections, soul, and life. "Demon Days". Words I shall never forget. "Gorillaz". My being, my heart, the world surrounding. A December unforgettable. Candycanes, rain, a cold sense of bliss. Music that brings me to pure emotion. Simple sounds that help me see eye to eye. With each human, another equal. The simple feeling of lonesome connection. A nature humans may latch onto. A nature that completes the tear in my life.

Who knows the survival rate of falling of the Empire State Building, how much blood you can lose before you die, and how to disable a security camera.
