It's Golden Week! What is that?

A holiday break lasting a whole week, centered around 4 holidays; it goes from April 29th to May 6th this year.

The holidays in question are Showa Day (April 29th), where they celebrate the birthday of Emperor Showa (Hirohito), Constitution Day (May 3rd), Greenery Day (May 4th), a day to appreciate nature and be grateful for its blessings, and finally Children's Day (May 5th). I'm more familiar with the last one.
