YOUNG DOLLS IN LOVE Season 2 Cast by Phil Buford Via Flickr: i hate these group photos! It takes forever to dress and pose every figure and then you have to pray that no one falls over because if one goes down, he or she will take other along for the ride! It's like a game of dominoes! It took about 2 or 3 hours to set everyone up! So I am taking a break from this story to do other stories! I plan to do at least one more season of Young Dolls In Love to wrap up all of my story lines! I hope to change the format somewhat and tell the third season in arcs instead of jumping from one plot to the other! It's been a fun ride so far and I hope that someone out there has enoyed it at least a little!

I keep forgetting to take pictures of armatures.... here's one that I just started clothing with clay! This is going to be a borhyaena being caught off guard by the kelenken. I'm planning to do a tiny diorama with the two of them. #diorama #armature #superculpey #paleoart #paleoartist #borhyaena #sculpture #sciart https://www.instagram.com/p/BnhitN7Bbie/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1jiyon5ymlhfj

Trying out something new... The acrylic i'm using to glue everything and flesh out the trees and the support beam for the terror bird takes too long to dry and it is a bit too thick. So i'm mixing it with a tiny bit of water and so far it's working well! #diorama #acrylic #art #miniature #miniatureart #artist #wip #workinprogress #artistsoninstagram #modelmaking #tipsandtricks #wargames #wargameterrain #wargametree #assetmaking #artinprogress #paleoartist #terrorbird https://www.instagram.com/p/BqutwK8Fkrj/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1w4vh6em1v0kv

Here we go, some better pictures and trying again! A male mallard duck is enjoying a calm summer noon in the reeds along the bank of a forest lake. A small group of perch swim through it looking out for their next meal, and potential predators. Not far off at the outskirts of the reeds, a larger perch observes them, making it's mind up if one of them will be it's next meal. Little do any of the perch know that they are being watched by a subadult pike further out. The lightning fast hunter is a force to be reckoned with as it doesn't need to lurk much closer before it can grab any of them! . I really did enjoy making this, despite my frustration on the leaking water effect (Fuller seems to be more runny than others that I've seen in tutorial videos). I learned a LOT and I feel confident that my next diorama featuring water will be a lot better! The next will be a paleo oriented one #miniature #forestpond #lake #pond #sculpture #artist #artistofinstagram #artistoninstagram #art #supersculpy #watereffect #forest #diorama #arts #artsandcrafts nature #pike #perch #mallard #duck #fish #forestdiorama #seafoam #seafoamtree #sculptor #paleoartist #sunny #summer #visualstorytelling #handmade #forestpond #birdwatching #animals #animalart #natureart #natureinart (at Drammen, Norway) https://www.instagram.com/p/BvbrL2qFTG9/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=104w1f6b0wt7l

Do you remember her? THIS is her NOW! Soo.. i thought i saved my little forest creek diorama from the summer sun, but turnes out it got too hot in the cabinet as wellš I believe the water effect i used was too thick compared to what is advised on the bottle, so that may have had something to do with it too? I learned a lot from it and got some nice photos of it anyway, so it's not that big a loss. Oh well! I'll do better next timeš #miniature #artistofinstagram #artistoninstagram #paleoartist #sculptor #sculpture #supersculpy #watereffect #art #artist #thenandnow #update #forestpond #lake #pond #forestdiorama #diorama #miniatures #minatureenvironment #miniaturepond #duck #mallard #pike #perch #fish https://www.instagram.com/p/B3nRmLyF16_/?igshid=1fhcvp5bhzg2b

Still a wip, but here is a long promised update on the kelenken sculpt 2.0. Been working on it on and off for a while now, and i keep running into problems with it. I think the glue in the masking tape i foolishly tried to use again (after learning not to while making the platybelodon), has been deteriorating the bulk layer of clay, and the the bulk layer has been drying out and cracking up the outer layerš so much back and forth and so much material.. I'm doubting wether or not to double down and get this one right, or restart. #miniature #artistofinstagram #artistoninstagram #paleoartist #sculptor #sculpture #supersculpy #paleoart #terrorbird #art #artist #jurassicpark #jurassicworld #dinosaurart #iceage #iceageanimal #kelenken #kelenkenguillermoi #arksurvival #wip #workinprogress #dinosaur #diorama #miniatures #phorusrachid #phorusrhacos https://www.instagram.com/p/B4V1ga1lTgo/?igshid=1a8kxuc8in90m

@sr.snek 's 5-min draw/sculpture reward request for guessing the right answer to what video game dragon inspired me while coming up with a dragon character. They requested a baryonix sculpture, so here they are! I also played around posing it on my forest lake diorama from earlier this yearš Thank you all for participating! . #miniature #artistofinstagram #artistoninstagram #paleoartist #sculptor #sculpture #supersculpy #paleoart #creaturedesigner #creaturedesign #dinos #art #artist #jurassicpark #jurassicworld #dinosaurart #dinosaur #diorama #baryonix #dinosaursofbritain #jurassic #jurassicdinosaurs #dinosaurs #prehistoricanimal #prehistoriccreature https://www.instagram.com/p/B5F8tsdlVmz/?igshid=afgsvcyadwrd
As far as i know there are no easily accessible source site for plants per time and place in history, you just gotta do research on the ecosystem in question, if there's no plant fossils you can research plant evolution and distribution and ecology. But most of the time i think people pick undefined species or subspecies that resemble what we find today in similar ecosystems that could plausibly have inhabited the area and niche.
When it comes to building YouTube is a great source! I'd check out Lukes Aps, Luke Towan, and Paepercuts. Realistic dioramas for model trains and gaming tables are essentially the same as what we'd like to do and the techniques and materials are interchangable.
Here are a selection of videos from each mentioned. Jump into the rabbit hole!
Do you know any websites that have tutorials for making prehistoric dioramas? Especially what kinds of plants are suitable for a Jurassic or Cretaceous diorama and how to use materials you can collect from nature like twigs?
I want to make two different dioramas (one with lots of plants and bushes and maybe some trees and one thatās more like a desert) I can use to photograph different dinosaurs āin their natural habitatā. It doesnāt have to be 100% accurate, it just needs to look āprehistoricā so I can use the same environment for both Stegosaurus and Tyrannosaurus.
The only problem is that Iām not at all familiar with mesozoic plants/trees & what kind of materials I can use if I make stuff myself instead of buying plastic plants.
fnaf sb diorama

I made this in anime club (itās basically a place to hang out) and I made this, I know it isnāt PERFECT and it isnāt really how the daycare looks, but I still like it. (Also my art teacher was helping me make it so⦠I still appreciate there help though š)

These guys were on sale and Iām super glad I got them!š šš
Expect better pics soon too! With Thor and The Destroyer!ššØ

Peep costume test #1
Iām making a peeps diorama for the contest at my schoolās library. Iām doing a scene from the hobbit.Ā
I didn't get to test the beards because I forgot to get glue. All I have is a hot glue gun that will probably melt the peep.
Iām thinking about making the cloak shorter.
I also forgot how small peeps are, and how sugary they are. The sugar is getting all over my bed!
