Here we go, some better pictures and trying again! A male mallard duck is enjoying a calm summer noon in the reeds along the bank of a forest lake. A small group of perch swim through it looking out for their next meal, and potential predators. Not far off at the outskirts of the reeds, a larger perch observes them, making it's mind up if one of them will be it's next meal. Little do any of the perch know that they are being watched by a subadult pike further out. The lightning fast hunter is a force to be reckoned with as it doesn't need to lurk much closer before it can grab any of them! . I really did enjoy making this, despite my frustration on the leaking water effect (Fuller seems to be more runny than others that I've seen in tutorial videos). I learned a LOT and I feel confident that my next diorama featuring water will be a lot better!
