I present you my most recent dsmp speculation/theory:
A Quackity and Tubbo team up. Listen here i know that they aren't in the best terms at the moment since Tubbo's "cookie shop" but imagine this scenario:
Technoblade and Dream break up of prison, they're going to get revenge on Quackity, they discover Las Nevadas, they say they're going to destroy it all with withers.
Quackity desperate goes to find help, he finds Tubbo and tells him about the situation.
Tubbo even if he isn't exactly a friend of Quackity, he's not going to stay there and watch how Techno and Dream destroy another country like they did with his home, so he tells Quackity he's going to help him and that he has a secret weapon... (I'm talking about the nukes by the way).
Who will still remember the events of S1 (DSMP)? Theory
As we all know, the server got nuked to bits and it is implied that everyone that was on the overworld got their memories nuked. But, we know that their are characters who would be able to remember because of their location at the time of the nukes or because of what we know of their lore, so here's a list of people that would definetly remember and a list of who could remember because of what we know of them;
Those that would definetly remember:

Those that could remember because of lore:
-c!Callahan (God-like) -c!Karl (Could have been in the in-between while everything happened) -c!Slime (Could have returned to the earth because he sensed the great danger) -The egg (God-like)

TRUE. it's like the warrior cats thing, if it goes on forever then it's just gonna get redundant and shit on. the only thing i can see them doing is finishing up whatever they wanna do towards the end when dsmp's popularity starts tapering out, which is gonna be a LONG while from now, but that's the one ending i can see for it. otherwise, i just can see that the moment the big mcyts finish their arcs then the smp continues but it’s like... dead. creators will just be making content for dead ears hoping for a dsmp revival. i dont doubt the current big mcyts will get tired of being on dsmp, or will see that the dsmp isnt serving them a purpose anymore clout-wise, so they’ll just finish up their character’s arcs and move on. but i think that’s only how the dsmp is gonna “end”. it’s never gonna end forever, but it’s gonna taper off once the big ones decide enough is enough.
the lack of organization in dsmp lore saddens me; while I understand improv is a huge part of it, many ccs don’t get to carry out the lore they want because of constantly changing conflicting schedules. I think Dream adding more people was a bad idea and will only make the lore more cluttered
(a bit of unorganized rambling about the continuation of Dream SMP lore. It’s below a cut because I know some people don’t fancy seeing it. I don’t think it’s too long, though.)
TLDR: A story cannot go on forever.

Who is "her"? no clue. any ways lets get to the symbolism.
Spruce trees
"In Greek mythology, the Spruce tree was dedicated to Artemis. The Greeks suggested that the enduring Spruce tree represented constant, eternal life and was labelled ‘The Tree of Birth’; its scented evergreen needles signifying resilience and strength." -the present tree
what does this mean. idk just thought with the constant Greek mythology references it was important
the Native American tribe, Hopi, had a myth that the spruce tree was once a medicine man, Salavi, who transformed himself into a tree.
Which is certainty interesting. maybe foreshadowing Hannah's lore she was talking about?
But through out all of my research Spruce trees historically represent new life, healing, and resliance.

this may not be the end of Kristen/Goddess of death theory.
In Medieval times, Spruce was used to protect against evil spirits and negative energies.
Maybe this "Her" is trying to protect Phil/Techno/Ranboo from something
That something most likely being revived Wilbur
we will just have to see how Wilbur reacts to his 'home' being surrounded by spruce trees.

What Jobs Does Everyone in the Dream SMP Have Outside of Politics, Terrorism and the Draft ™ (this is a headcanon lol)
okay so a lot of us saw the post about the idea that the dream smp’s town tailor would be absolutely exhausted, but idk how many of you saw the ensuing tailor!tommy au/headcanon where someone brought up the fact that tommy sewed his own clothes back together with string from techno after he escaped exile
everyone just went off on a tangent about tommy being an arrogant, violent little shit with the world’s most wholesome hobby, and since then i’ve wondered what everyone’s jobs would be aside from that, but we’ll get the more obvious ones and the ones i’ve already talked about out of the way first

...Phil said, in a Hardcore stream, (after/during the Death of Tommy) that they are in no way related. These two act like strangers because they are. Tommy is basically the Neighbor’s kid that took a liking to Wilbur, stayed with him- So, to Phil, he knows more OF him, then actual conversations. (Even with them living together- Tommy would talk to Techno more than acknowledge Philza’s existence.)
You can have your found family dynamics but in actual canon, they know almost nothing. The most they have? Techno and Wilbur, their stories of the other, their povs.
Before he confirmed it, I thought it. I mean, if your father was exploding your country (Doomsday) you’d think that you would want to talk to him, even more than actual main guy. But, no. Tommy clinged more towards his caretaker, Techno who was like his brother.
They rarely ever canonically talked, why wouldn’t you talk to your dad? No matter what, you’ll talk to him. No matter what you did to him.
Well, luckily nothing happened on the syndicate stream to completely make your Philza vid irrelevant. It even played into what you said, Phil's relationship with Tommy being utterly ignored, unless you want to count him being in denial for something. That is, until the next vague comment someone makes on the family dynamic that makes the fandom go wild again.
Honestly, at this point, I just want any dynamic.
Like, the crux of it all isn’t “Are they blood-related” or not. I think we just focus on it because of our intertextual readings and because it was (at one point) canon. But honestly, they could be found family, they could distant acquaintances (though, I personally would find that option lame, to be honest).
I just want Tommy and Phil’s relationship to be addressed and explored in some form within the text, not only in the paratext!
An Unwanted (but likely) Theory:
Techno is going to die, and by the hands of Ranboo.
I was typing a reply to a random comment when I found out how Techno is going to die.
“Techno is going to die.
He has made jokes of death, his code name is famous for dying first. And the fact that Ranboo has made jokes of being a god killer” and I didn’t even finish typing when it came to me.
What did Techy call the nukes? “God killers” (During the “Syndicate” stream)
And during the Cake baking video, Ranboo was planning to kill god. (Don’t judge, he said that he would and have been dropping hints in ANYTHING that he is in.)
And what does that got to do with the other? As of March 26th, Tubbo did a short lore stream, stating that one of his nukes have gone missing. Ranboo most likely forgot- But I am starting to think his subconscious has a whole different memory storage.
And it just so happens that the new family is having a house built.
Yes, this theory is likely but highly unwanted. I mean, I am a Techno, Ranboo, and a Phil apologist. I want people to still apologize for.
The ghosts on DSMP are left behind as they were seemingly never a part of them. Let me explain.
In the year(ish) leading up to c!Wilbur’s death, he was losing it. He finally built high, his apparent childhood dream. Phil stated that young Will always did just that, he would build something and then destroy it. Wilbur got his country, his people, and all taken from him. He lost everything. He set out to destroy what was once his, blinded by envy. He wasn’t happy. He did not seem happy at all. The only thing he felt when he destroyed it was bliss before immediate regret. He no longer felt like he had a purpose, he completed the next part of cycle. The next step was supposed to rebuild or build something else entirely. It was his unfinished symphony, as he did not break that cycle.
You know who was happy? Ghostbur. He did not have the ability to remember any sad things or to gain new sad memories. He was simply a ghost of what Wilbur no longer was or could be. Will was no longer happy.
I said ghosts as I feel the glimpses we currently have of Ghostboo, he is the same way, except that Ranboo did have happiness, he could feel it. He did, when he was with his family. So, why am I mentioning Boo? The ghost has carelessness, he is not worried. He could seemingly remember everything but he just doesn’t care. He is released from it all, from all the stress. The stress of not having the memory book on him at all times? Nope. Ranboo was not like that, he couldn’t be like the ghost. He cares, he stresses constantly. The ghost could be something they could not.
The ghosts are not the ghosts of the people, but what they could not be. Wilbur could not be happy, Ranboo could not be stress free.
