Sooooo I've made a Star trek picrew for your OC and avatar needs :)
I've made it so that you can play with multiple species (in total, human, klingon, cardassian, bajoran, ferengi, andorian, aenar, denobulan, vulcan, romulan, trill, orion, android, vorta and ocampa), mix and match things ! This is a beta release, so to speak, so it's not perfect, but I'm gonna add stuff to it in the future (especially backgrounds and outfits, I find it really lacking there but I have been working on this for SO LONG I couldn't add anything more rn)
Yeah like I just said this took me a whole month and a half to do, working on it on nearly all of my free time. And trust me, it was a chore. You don't know true pain if you haven't spent whole afternoons just exporting PNGs. So yeah I really hope people use this lol, don't hesitate to share !
You can use as an icon, edit and change the background if you want, just tag me where you use it :D (or just to show me what you made. I'd love to see your characters !)
Also feel free to suggest stuff to improve or add, I already have a few things planned for the next version but I'm open to ideas. Also tell me if anything doesn't work properly. Some parts can look jenky at first but most of them are movable so you should be able to make everything work. (fyi some parts are obviously not meant to work together, like half the haircuts and klingon ridges)

alright, so this one is another one that was originally made, and still exists slightly out of sequence. I'm kind of ok with that because I just really like it. this feeling I wanted to evoke was one of finding people who like you, like having you around, and want you to have a bowl of soup and feel better.
I worked out later when putting these things in sequence and while working out images for my BFA year that the black wolf would have either taken her here to meet the trees, or on their way to where the black wolf is leading her they met the Trees. so that's where this fits into antler-chronology.
the branch as antler is a pervasive image when I go to look for other deer girl images other people have made. it makes sense, usually antlers are only for male deer. but for my own symbolic purposes I think of it like: previously she was wandering around unbalanced due to the loss of one antler, now it is replaced by something wholly new. the budding leaves an eventual flowers that are also taking over her other antler. again, this may possibly be a terrible idea. but as it is at the top of her head it can be considered a capacity for a higher oneness, not just between animal and human, but animal, human and plant.
well, that's the hippie BS angle anyway.
notes on making this image: the trees are mostly modeled after my friend Sam and his best friend Stephanie, they are super cool and Sam really does pat me on the head sometimes when I am upset and it does really help. leaf hair would not have been possible without the help of the painkillers I was on at the time, like many things in printmaking it was monotonous and exacting but all the more rewarding for that.
this is still one of my favorites of the big prints.

I'm going to see The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes tomorrow and after, me and my family will watch the season 4 finale of Star Trek: Enterprise (These Are The Voyages).
I'm not ready for the double dose of emotional damage. I'll have to buy bulletproof armor to have a chance of surviving without being traumatized.
Star Trek: Enterprise finale spoilers !
I wasn't able to go see tbosas with my family, but we'll go sometime this week.
I did see the ST: ENT finale and I feel utterly empty and fucked.
Why the hell was it so goofy? Like, a time skip would be fine, but why does Will Riker and Deanna Troi have to be in the episode? And I haven't really watched TNG so I don't know, but why would they be in an episode for ENT when it might not connect to an episode for TNG? And WHY THE FUCKING HELL WOULD THEY KILL OFF BABY/HUSBAND TRIP? He's one of the most important characters in the show imo and most emotionally developed crew member. It'd be fine if they faked his death and then showed that he was still alive in S5, BUT THEY DIDN'T! And Jonathan should've told T'Pol that his death wasn't real, instead of traumatizing her like that, but I guess it would've ruined the impact fans felt watching. I did like how they showed the main cast (minus Jon Archer) talking with the chef, although I wish they would've shown his face sometime throughout the 4 seasons ENT aired. And I was surprised when Hoshi said she thought Trip was cute. But ngl, same bae, who could blame her? (Hoshi and Trip would be cute, although Tripol is endgame.)
I now need a month's worth of chocolate (I have hot cocoa to help as well), therapy, a LOT of Trip fanart (ENT fanart in general too), and a lot of squishmallows to help soothe the pain.
Fuck the directors/producers for making this shitty ass finale and for shitting on Tripol, and bring Trip back once and for all. (I know they did in the novels but it has to happen onscreen.)
I'll make a Pure As The Driven Snow edit with Trip in his honor and memory to help cope. I might even make it a Tripol edit.
