But can we reverse this thinking and let it be Okay for people like me, who work very hard but don't truly have any skills and have yet to achieve anything despite their hard work, to exist?
People will say a very skilled person is gifted or talented instead of attributing it to hard work and practice so they can feel better about themselves instead of blaming their lack of skills on their lack of interest and laziness.

okay i admit this is a slightly wrong statement
i just graduated college last week with a bachelors degree
in Animal Science
but at the moment i have no job and not a true direction in life
so its hard for me to see anything but what i am lacking
i admit this and am working on the getting a job
just venting
even with a degree i still feel worthless
nothing makes me feel better
my dog does tho
but he constantly reminds me he doesnt actually give a crap about me lol
he is selfish
and a horrible dog
but i still love him
(and hate him at the same time)
just slightly depressed even tho others in my position are so happy
