Don't mess with Cathilda's Son

Fabian: ...sure ...sure.
Cathilda: I'm sorry that you had to go through that and worst of all, I'm sorry that you had to go through it without your family. *her pupils dilate and her dark brown eyes lose their luster as she goes black in the eyes and any shred of empathy, remorse, or hesitation leaves her expression* You are Will's son - his darling boy - and you're mine as well. And that squid put his hands on you and he's gonna pay handsomely for it. With every last thing he's got. Do ya hear me?
Fabian: ...yes ...yes I do.
Cathilda: That's good Master Fabian *she reaches over and pinches his cheek fondly*

Captain James: Well, son of a coward and run off like a cowards to his friends. I'll be happy to mince them in front of you. You have no true pirates here.
Cathilda: oh ho ho ho! Shut that squid mouth you dirty pirate piece of shit.
*Cathilda steps out and the brawl in in the Row quietens somewhat as people look over. She has changed into seven league boots, a black dress with a high white collar (almost looking like a widow in mourning), and black tri-corner hat (WE NEED NEW OFFICIAL ART!). Her shoulder length hair may or may not have been dip dyed for an ombre effect.*
Adaine: Oh I'm so sorry. We've been so rude. This is our friend Cathilda The Black.
Captain James: Cathilda The Black eh? Well. She's still no captain. I hear she's nothing more than a maid.
Cathilda: Oh right you are James. I am a maid. And as such, I can tell ya I've got all the breadcrumbs ready and all the spices and seasonin's and a nice lemon wedge for when I turn your fuckin' face into a nice plate of calamari and it's gonna taste delicious going down. And I'm gonna keep you alive to watch it. I'm gonna feed it to ya cuz I tell ya, it's not healthy to only be eating brains James and I care about your health and well being.
Gorgug: And I'm gonna kick your ass!
the bad kids are better with actions than words. its why even after razzing on fabian during the van scene and. being extremely Unhelpful (which i think is 50% the players making jokes with dramatic irony and 50% teens being stupid) they all stand by him in the row, giving him the sword, the eyepatch, the fucking warding bond. they might not express it with words, but the bad kids love fabian. and he might not believe them right now, but they’re going to prove it to him.
All the scenes with Adaine and Aelwyn emotinally destroyed me (especially the last scene).
I've always had a good relationship with my sister, but even there she was the one mostly succeding in school and getting my fathers approval and I was the one that was smart but then had mental breakdowns and didn't "function" properly anymore. I know now that she was also under a massive psychological pressure to succeed (internal and external) and now we are both healing from that pressure-cooler childhood.
I hope that the Abernant sisters can heal (together) and that they maybe even learn to let eachother in. They both deserve it. ♡
Emily was really vulnerable in the NADDPOD short rest this past week about how she always feels a little uncomfortable playing romance at the D&D table.
Well, Emily, if you ever read this - YOU ABSOLUTELY SMASHED IT. So proud of you and living for the A+ roleplay.

I can't believe Ayda catapulted herself to the top of my fave NPC list in just a few episodes. I am just so happy that she exists (she is so much like me) and I have been loving Fig more and more each episode of sophomore year (not that I didn't before) and they are both like a perfect split of my psychological issues... but together they're better! I vibed with their relationship since the sleepover and now they are canon! They had the best (and most in-character) getting together scene I could have never written.
I am so happy about them.
Also: I can't decide which shipname for them I like more... Songbird is beautiful in sound and metaphor, but Figayda has GAY in it... truly difficult questions indeed...
This is great. I just need more Fantasy High animatics in my life!
Sooo... when Fig and Ayda get married, Gorgug will be Figs best man and Adaine will be Aydas.
Fig is gonna be walked down the aisle by Gorthalax and Gilear on each side (Gilear does have some yogurt stains on his tux and is fully crying (Gorthalax is also crying, but tears of flame).
Jawbone has walked Ayda to the altar (because, c'mon, as soon as he meets her he is gonna adopt her).
Riz is in charge of the rings (and also in charge of security, he even protected the rings with a special safe and multiple booby-traps). He also threatens all the reporters that are trying to get into the wedding of the great rockstar Fig from "Fig & the Sig Figs"
Fabian is the flower boy.
Kristen is officiating. Ayda would have very much liked for someone more serious and orderly to be in charge, but she is Figs friend and her friend, so she concedes.
(Also: Gilear probably threw up in the flower petal basket because he was so nervous and Fabian was furious.
And Fig ditches her dads halfway down the aisle and just skate-boards the rest of the way to Ayda, because she just can't wait.)
Garthy O'Brien throws the party, in a true pirate wedding fashion, for free, because they are the best.
He smells like ocean and fancy elven sheets. Also kippers.
I don't know why but I've always kinda imagined that Fabian smells like the ocean and it's only gotten stronger since they visited Leviathan
Bad Kids as the (MCU) Avengers AU:
Riz as Captain America (Grizzly Old Knight devoted to what is right)
Fabian as Ironman (Daddy issues, rich and arrogant + the Hangman is the suit + Jarvis)
Kristen as Thor (a little out of touch with normal human life, grew up with a very weird mythical destiny)
Gorgug as the Hulk/Beuce Banner (aka the greatest wizard of all time)
Adaine would also make a great Bruce Banner, but we'll give her Black Widow for posessing the single brainzell of this group & for having broken free from her former conditioning and being from a different country (this is far looser, I know).
That leaves Fig as Hawkeye, which only fits in that he wisecracks, was once (at least in fanon) a teenage asshole and hides a lot of his pain under a "I'm fine." demeanor. Also you could draw parallels between Barton being mind controlled by the sceptre and Fig being mind controlled in season 2.

I know roles wise you could switch Fabian & Riz, or put Riz as Black Widow and Adaine as Banner...

The Gukgaks are the coolest family ever and they are everything I love about goblins.
That ending with Pok Gukgak... only he and Sklonda could ever be cool enough for eachother.
Just in: Gorgug is the mom friend!
Gorgug was so good in this fight… standing over Gilear and telling him to stay down… screaming for Kristen when she was knocked out… running over and trying to get between her and Daybreak… sweet boy…

Kristens actions she takes and the strength she continuesly shows against Kalina for her friends just... fucls me up emotionally...
