oh lord the bats... core memory as a kid I remember going outside with my dad and he sprayed the shutters with a hose because the bats were in there and they needed to not be in there not like a pressure washer hose just like... enough to get them uncomfortable enough to fly off so we could take down the shutters anyway THE BATS the sheer amount of bats could've turned me into a batman origin story there were... so many... at least twenty bats on the whole house felt bad so we put some bat boxes up still see them every once and a while
