Okay but is it just me who thinks there's so much more to Carrie than we've been shown so far? She's just not the usual asshole popular girl.

Like in episode 3 when Nick said "You two used to be friends" and Carrie replies with a huge amount of salt like she's hurt that he would even remind her of that. Like something happened between Julie and Carrie that hurt Carrie so much she became cold and distant. Cause if you listen to the way Julie talks about the time when they were friends, you wouldn't believe she was talking about Carrie since the way she's shown from the outside is nothing like what Julie knew.

It's almost like Julie did something that she didn't realise hurt Carrie as much as it did, and Julie just thought Carrie became too cool to be friends with her. But also seems like she hasn't actually told anyone about it. The way Nick acts about it is the same way Julie acts about it. Like they think she's just a stuck up asshole. I think she's just really hurt and is trying to frame off her feelings from not only the world but herself.

I mean, something must have happened for their friendship to turn that sour, right?

You know what I want for season 2? An Alex lead singer song. Honestly, Owen's voice is great and if he got the chance I'm convinced he'd blow everyone's minds.

Also, Luke got the whole Unsaid Emily cryfest (I'm still crying... it's been 3 months... I'm almost on Alex's level at this point) and Reggie had his jam so now we're just missing a song for Alex to shine.

I also wouldn't say no to a Alex x Willie duet...

When Alex met Caleb it was like he was meeting his boyfriends dad, try to convince me otherwise

Episode 4

Julie: Wow Luke, I didn't know you were such a romantic

Alex: *quick as lightning* He's not

I just thought of something...

The boys are originally obsessed with confronting Bobby, right?

Well, why didn't they just get Julie to play a song with them in front of Bobby? They could write a song about their feelings of betrayal toward him? The way they did with Flynn. Reggie even managed to talk to Flynn in the Flying Solo performance so wouldn't that have made sense?

I'm thinking too much these days, but if you listen to the lyrics of "You got nothing to lose", there's a line like "Listen to the words a wise man said; he said "Covington, I got an offer that you can't refuse""

This could be a reference to when Caleb first became a ghost and how he got into the whole ghost club scene. How he got the same offer that he's giving the boys from another ghost.

As a firm believer that no one is born evil (some exceptions absolutely do occur), I think there's a lot more to Caleb's character than let's on.

I have two theories as of now.

1. He could be out for revenge. 

This could be his “modified” unfinished business. He could have gotten into the deal himself centuries ago and he’s been looking for someone to pass the deal onto so that he himself can pass on. It might seem selfish but really it’s only human. Self-preservation is the only way to survive, right? Not that Caleb has that problem anymore but you get the point. So really, I don’t think he’s evil in the way he’s perceived.

2. He genuinely thinks what he’s doing is right.

This theory comes from the “no one is born evil” belief. If you think about it, what he’s doing could absolutely, in the right context not seem as terrible. He’s offering the boys a secure way to keep doing music together forever, and be seen by actual people. His motivation methods are extremely wrong but you know, we don’t know how long he’s been dead and his perception of society might be so incredibly ancient that the only way of negotiation he knows of is through violence. But like I said, I don’t think he’s necessarily a bad or evil person. 

So, in conclusion, I don’t think Caleb is the villain we’re all seeing him as. He’s desparate. He’s lonely. He’s probably bored out of his witts to be honest. Imagine playing the same song over and over again. As a musician myself, and performer to some extent (eh, mostly school related concerts), I can absolutely see the joy in performing like that. Hell, I would do anything to get to perform like that. But for all eternity? Come on!

Personally, I think Caleb is just a bit old school and he needs someone to guide him through the improved ways of the world

Just realised something else...

I might be kinda stupid for not realising this sooner but you know the Finally Free performance in the show, right?

In the last chorus when Julie's doing the adlibs, it's ducking Reggie who's singing the melody. I'm crying, Jeremy's voice is so good😭

And that's a high ass freaking melody too, it ain't easy doin, I'll tell you that

I'm a female and I have the vocal chords of a female and holy crap that melody is high for me, so the fact that Jeremy can sing it is really impressive to me

1. Alex:

“Felix- unashamedly is invested in the Real Housewives drama. threatens to fight sexists and cat callers. poor depth perception. only owns 1 jacket but still gets complimented by strangers for his style”

2. Julie:

“Madison Reyes, i only know this cause you TALK ABOUT HER EVERY OTHER DAY. her necklace says Julie but let’s ignore that, maybe Julie is her girlfriend because this woman is absolutely not heterosexual. her name is Melany and everyone wants to be her friend. she owns 40 different phone cases. bedazzles all of everything. stuffed animal collector and proud”

3. Willie

“BOOBOO STEWART OMG. this character is named Henry and if i’m wrong then no i’m not. he does free lance art. is definitely gay. shops at pacsun but tells people that he doesn’t shop at pacsun. people know that he shops at pacsun. he cannot hide the pacsun. stop lying about pacsun, Henry, it’s okay, no one is judging you. probably nice to everyone but will judgementally gay stare at you if you are rude”

4. Flynn:

“is this Julie? one of them has to be Julie, so i’m guessing that. this is julie. mhm. and do i spot a fellow lesbian??? her earrings confirm my suspicions. my gaydar is ringing. hates everyone except, like, 2 people. those two people are her girlfriend and Felix. her girlfriend is named Melany. Julie likes painting rocks and pinning blankets to her bedroom ceiling. she has 5 different colored converse”

5. Reggie

“Terrance. Terrance does not know how to flirt with women, but he tries, and we are proud of him for it. definitely gives off the most approachable vibes ever. super open. emotionally competent (?). will bake you brownies without an explanation as to why. likes elevator music and finger guns”

6. Luke:

“was i wrong? was i wrong and Melany is actually dating this man? because no person looks at someone like THAT without being so obviously in love with them. you go Melany. got him simping as fuck. as you should, queen. his name is Jared and he likes skateboarding and reading. he’s a weirdo. he doesn’t fit in and he doesn’t want to fit in. look at his hat. he’s weird. did you get the reference? please tell me you got the reference otherwise i’m embarrassed”

7. Carrie:

“this girl would be so mean to me and i would take every last second of it with a smile on my face. she could purposefully trip me to the ground and i would kiss her boot. i love her. she is named Emma and she’s probably very mean to Terrance, poor boy. anyways, she likes glitter, participated in the mustache trend of 2013 and deeply regrets it, and wakes up at 4am every morning so she has time to get her life together.”

8. Caleb:

“this is Benjamin. Benjamin looks like he’s been through it and smiling through the pain. it’s okay ben, you look fabulous, get a therapist and you’ll be great.”

9. Nick:

“Emerson. respectful king. he looks so nice. might be straight and if he is i just know that he is SUCH a good ally. he and Terrance are best friends. he probably plays baseball”

10. Ray:

“YOU DIDNT TELL ME THAT CARLOS PONCE WAS IN THIS SHOW????”

So instead of paying attention to online school, I made picrews of Julie and the Phantoms characters because apparently this is what I choose to do with my life...

I sent this to my friend and we came up with: imagine Flynn and Julie go to the game and see Carrie and some of the dirty candi girls an are expecting drama but then they see ghost powers on the field and all of them kinda just go wait a second and that’s how they end up taking Carrie back to the garage and introducing her to the boys to get her help figuring something out with Caleb/nick cause she and nick used to date and she and Julie used to be friends so maybe she would have an idea for what to do

Am i the only one who wants to see a lacrosse game in season 2? Like imagine CalebNick trying to play and he starts using his ghosty powers to try and win?? Like that would be really freaking cool

Here’s the first chapter!

Ok so I dont know if this has been talked about already or is already considered cannon, but I have a theory for why Julie being able to touch them got rid of Caleb's stamp. So we already "know" that the reason Julie can touch the Phantoms is because she's part of their souls, but that still doesn't really explain how it got rid of the stamp. So the stamp allows Caleb to own the phantoms souls, but when Julie becomes part of their souls this is no longer possible. Caleb can not own Julie or her soul, therefore a part of the boys' souls are off limit to him, causing his hold on them to be relinquished. This would also explain why he's now trying to get to Julie(through Nick), Caleb can't control the boys until he controls Julie
