I just made the gut-wrenching connection between the "you don't want to know me, I will just let you down" in Castles Crumbling and the "You wouldn't take my word for it if you knew who was talking" in Dear Reader...
Foolish One can be connected to many other Taylor songs but the connection that sticks out the most to me is with Speak Now (song) with the lyrics “Cause you got her on your arm and me in the wings, I'll get your longing glances, but she'll get your ring” which can directly be the prelude to the entire speak now (song).
