An Actress life - Chapter 1
A/N: please excuse this bc I wrote this story like two years ago, so it might be different to the works I write now lol sksksks maybe you still enjoy it.
PS: this was my first fan fiction ever!!!
Chapter one
word count: 1,252 words
It is the last day on set of the tv show you have played in for 7 years. You're a bit sad about that, that it has ended. But you're also happy, because the last 3 years weren't that easy. The crew sucked sometimes and the most members of the cast didn't understand any jokes, they were serious about everything all the time. You didn't enjoy going to work, you always thought being an actress would be rather cool, it is, but at this set you haven't felt like that. This tv show has showed you the negative aspects of being an actress. On the other hand you are thankful for this time, because of this show you met your best friend Gen.
You know her since the show has started that means for seven years and you are thankful that you are allowed to call her your best friend. She is so adorable and you love her. And because of you she is married to Jared Padalecki, why because of you? Because in 2009 you filmed 'Friday the 13th' with him, although you were in your show you managed doing both. So that you and Jared worked together, got along very well and hung around a lot, you introduced the two with each other. One day you took Gen to a bar, where Jared and other people from the crew and cast were. They also got along quickly and went on dates but maybe you weren't the single reason why they've married.
Gen got a small part in Supernatural where Jared has a main part as Sam Winchester. You remember like it was yesterday when they have called her, in this moment you were sitting in a tiny coffee shop, talking about everything and then she got this call. She screamed so loudly, everyone was looking at you like you two would be crazy. But yeah that's how they met first, because of you. When they married you were her maid of honour, you felt honoured, since you two didn't know each other rather long when she chose you. Their wedding was a dream, everything seemed perfect. She looked amazing, indescribable more than words can say.
Okay, enough story telling of your best friend's life. Your love life isn't that exciting right now you are single for two years, because your ex boyfriend has cheated on you when you were shooting for your tv show. That has happened 1 year after Gen and Jared's wedding. You two were 6 months in a relationship, so it was not that hard, like the relationship you had before. Enough of your past life. Right now you are in your hometown Austin to visit your parents, you haven't seen them for weeks even months. Your mum told you to visit her and your stepfather, because some of your family from Poland is there and you have missed them a lot.
You knock at the door and your mum opens it, full of happiness to see you, you breath out of relief, because you thought she would be really angry with you. You go through the door to say hello to the rest of your family. You all sit down to the table where the food is already waiting for all of you. Polish food. You love it. You eat one bite and you feel like you are in heaven, because it tastes so good. Then you suddenly get a call from your manager Edward Swensen. "Sorry guys excuse me for a minute."
Your mum looks annoyed at you, what you totally understand. You go to the kitchen and pick up. "Hey Y/N/N, sorry for interrupting your family time, but I have an amazing job offer for you." "What job, Ed?" "Eric Kripke called this morning, the producer of Supernatural." "Ed I know, who Eric Kripke is. Just keep going." "Okay, okay. They want you as a main part." Silence. You know, your ex-boyfriend Jensen has also a main part in this show.
"Wow. That's amazing, what kind of role?" "A love interest of Dean." You think Oh shit, how are you going to survive this? Just be professional. "When do I have to answer?" "Right now, Y/N/N." "Well, I'm not quite sure about that." "Y/N Y/L/N are you kidding? This is a big opportunity." "It's not that, I would take it if my ex-boyfriend wouldn't be Dean." "Oh shit, I totally forgot about that." "But I'm looking forward and I'll take it." "So sorry to tell you this, but the meeting will be tomorrow. In Vancouver." "Seriously?" "Yeah, I'm so sorry."
You are so annoyed, you just have arrived and tomorrow you gonna leave for, you don't know how long. "When will the flight be?" "10 am. I'll send you the ticket via email." "Thank you." "See you tomorrow then, Y/N." "Bye, Ed." You feel like you have to tell your bestie, so you call Gen but she doesn't pick up. You can understand, she is busy with Tom and her second pregnancy. You already have forgotten about Jensen that he plays Dean.
You have to leave in less than 16 hours. "Y/N/N what's going on?" Your cousin asks. "I have a new job, for which I have to leave at 8am because my flight will be at 10am tomorrow. " Your mum is looking angry at you. "I am happy for you but you have just arrived." Your sister says. "I know, I am so so-" Your mum interrupts you "Are you kidding me?" She asks angrily but then her anger turns to happiness. She comes to you and hugs you. "I am so proud of you, Y/N/N." She whispers into your ear.
Tears come to your eyes, because you are so thankful for your family, that they always support you. "Thank you guys, but I have to call Gen again. And if she doesn't pick up, I will visit her." "Sure, greet her from us." "Of course." You go to the living and try to call her again but she doesn't pick up again, so you decide to go to her house.
15 minutes later, you arrive at her house and ring the door bell. A few seconds later she opens the door in amazement. "Hey, what are you doing here? I thought you are with your family today." She hugs you and gestures you to come in. "I thought that too. I was calling you, but you didn't pick up. Then I decided to come over." "I don't even know where my phone is." She says laughing. "It's fine, I know you're busy. I have some amazing news." You say in excitement.
You sit down on their couch. "Start, I wanna know." "I'm gonna have a main part in Supernatural." "Wow. That's amazing, we have to tell Jared." "Jared." She yells. Jared comes to the living room, you two hug each other.
"Y/N/N, what are you doing here?" He asks with a smile. "Let me introduce you to your new colleague." Gen says proud and points at you.
"No way!" He says happily.

Chapter two
word count: 1,320 words
"This will be so nice to have my little sis on set." Jared says luckily, but then his smile fades slightly. (He loves you like a little sister, although you're older than him xD) "What kind of role?" He asks concerned. You start to get nervous, so you just remain quiet. You already regret saying yes to Edward.
"Uh-As the love interest of Dean." You look at the floor, feeling guilty and a bit stupid for accepting that job. He and Gen look shocked and concerned at the same time. "I don't even understand, why he asked for me." "I do, you're good at what you’re doing." He tries to smile, but all he can think of is how jensen will be feelings about this change. "Guys, could you please stop looking at me like this the whole time….it’s getting uncomfortable." You say a bit nervously.
"I know guys, I didn't think about Jensen and me. I guess it's better, if I call my manager and reject this offer." You grab your jacket and take out your phone to dial Ed's number. Gen and Jared look at each other, then Gen walks towards you and takes your phone away, quickly ending the call. "Maybe you and Jensen just should talk about everything...talk the whole thing out. Ask him if he and you are okay." Jared says. Jared is right, he kinda always is about things like that, but you’d never actually would admit to that.
"Are you sure? I mean you are his best friend, you should protect him of me. I know, I hurt him badly and I am sorry. I still feel really guilty about the whole thing. I let him go, for the stupidest reason. He was probably the best boyfriend, I could’ve ever had." You say with a deep sigh. "Wait, do you still love him?" Gen asks and you realize, what you’ve just said. "When yes, why did you left him?" Jared says disappointed and also kinda confused.
"I think I do. Why I left him? Because I felt so unloved and unwanted like I wasn’t good enough.” you say quietly. "Y/N, you're like a little sister to me, since we met in 2008 at the set of Friday the 13th and I am thankful for introducing that wonderful woman to me…" he points at Gen "but you're definitely dumb. I'm sorry, but Jensen was gonna purpose you and you just left him because you felt this way? Why didn’t you two just talk like adults?” Silence, because you know he is right. You weren’t mature enough, you were like 20 or something, still a stupid child.
"He loved you more than everything." He adds. You start to cry because you know he's right, even more than right and you hate yourself for this. Gen wraps her arms around you, hugging you close. "Everyone makes mistakes, it's okay." She whispers into your ear and puts you tighter to her as much as possible because of her baby bump."Y/N, I can't believe you're so dumb." Jared almost yells. Gen lets you go. "I'm sorry, okay?" You yell back. You’re are fighting for about five minutes and not noticing that Gen is trying to get both of your attention, for a few minutes now.
"What's wrong?" You ask annoyed and look at her and you realise that there is puddle on the floor, already regretting how you answered her. "Oh my god." Jared says nervously. "Get her bag and get Thomas. I'll get the car." He nods and gets Thomas quickly. He goes to their bedroom, meanwhile you get Tom and Gen into the car.
10 minutes later you arrive at the hospital...
"Just get Gen inside as fast as you can. I'll take care of everything else." You say. He nods thankfully. You park the car and take Thomas out of the car. During the drive Jared has called Jensen. This would be the first time that you see him after your breakup. You remember it wasn't that easy ,because the pressure made it a way harder for you two.
You’ve been together for three years with him. These were the best three years of your life. You regret everything that happened so much, because you never loved a man like him. You enter the hospital with a sleepy Tom in your arms. Your heart stops, when you see Jensen for the first time, after five years.
You feel butterflies all around your stomach, then you feel the pain and guilt in your gut. You swear you can see that his wonderful eyes are filled with anger, pain and luck. You go over to him, he tries to smile. "Hey, it's been a long, since we’ve last seen each other." He tries to be friendly. "Yeah, that’s true." You say with a weak smile. He glares all over your body and has spotted the ring on your finger. His small smile fades away. It's the ring your Grandma has given you, before she died 1 year ago. It used to be the engagement ring your grandpa gave to her.
"They're already in, aren't they?" He nods and looks at the ring again. Tom wakes up. "Auntie Y/N/N." He rubs his eyes sleepily. "Uncle J." "Hey Buddy." Jensen says with an adoring smile and takes Tom out of your arms. You missed his smile so much. "How's life going's?" He asks. "Pretty good, what about you?" "Same old things." He smiles, you smile back.
You sit in a awkward silence for almost an hour before Jared finally comes out and tells you that their second sun is born. His expression full of love and happiness. Y’all walk through the door to see Gen and the baby. "Hey." You whisper gently and smile at her and the baby. "What's his name?" Jensen asks. Jared and Gen look at each other.
"Austin Shepherd Padalecki." Gen says a bit exhausted but happily. "And you two are gonna be the godparents." Jared says proudly. Jensen looks at you with a little smile, that you can see from the corner of your eye. You feel so indescribable happy that you're gonna be his godmother. Maybe Jensen and you will get closer again. "J can we talk for a minute?" Jared asks Jensen. "Sure." They go outside and you sit down on a chair. "Congratulations." You whisper happily. "Thank you." She smiles holding the baby in her arms.
—Jensen PoV—
„Dude, congratulations." "Thanks." We hug. But then my thoughts get back to her, her beautiful hair, her beautiful y/e/c eyes, just everything. But when I look into her face I feel deep pain. She really hurt me, after her I didn't love a woman like her ever again. "Jensen?" Jared tears me out of my thoughts. "Yes?" "Everything alright ?" "Yeah, it's just I didn't expect to see her here after all those years." "I know, that's the thing. She got an offer from Kripke, she would play the love interest of Dean." My breath stops for a moment. "Would you be okay with that?" He asks softly and even a bit concerned.
"I guess I have to." "Dude, I know how much she hurt you, maybe it's not the best situation." Jared says gently. "I guess I have to be professional and I will be just fine. Don't worry about me, just take care of Gen, Shepherd and Tom." I tell him. We go back inside the room. "Okay, guys I gotta go." She says and leaves the room. "J maybe you should follow and talk to her." Gen says softly. I think about that and she's right. "Okay you're right. Bye Gen." I hug her carefully. "I’m so happy for you, man." I tell Jared and hug him before leaving as fast as I can, trying to catch up with her.

An Actress Life - Chapter 14

A/N: sorry, that I changed the POV completely; but my 16-year-old self thought, that was a good idea to change it in the middle of a story sksksks sorry!
"I'm sorry, that I believed you would just care about sex right now." She says quietly, feeling extremely guilty for actually believing that Jensen, the Jensen she loves so much, would only think about sex in this kind of situation. "It kinda sounded that way...and I'm really sorry it did." He says quietly, he loves you more than anything, he would never want that you feel pressured by him, the man you love so much. "I don't want to keep fighting with you." She mumbles into his chest, holding tightly onto him.
"Me neither. I just...I just want you to be alright and what's best for you." He says softly, hugging her closer. "I know, that's why I feel so selfish sometimes." She says with a deep sigh, she feels like it's always about her, he's thinking way too much about her feelings. "No chick flick moments, Dean would say." She adds a moment later to brighten the mood. When she hears him chuckle, she feels her heart skip a beat. "He definitely would." He says playfully before kissing her head gently.
They hold onto each other enjoying the moment. Jensen looks around the kitchen noticing it's almost 5:23 PM. "We should get ready." He whispers softly into Y/N's ear. She looks up at him with a small pout, causing him to smile lovingly at her. She looks at the clock, knowing he's right. She sighs softly and nods pulling away, "You're right, we should get ready."
The two of them walk upstairs and separate their ways. Jensen's gets a shower, while Y/N gets dressed into something that aren't joggers and a top. She grabs a comfy jeans and a hoodie her mom gave her, before she flew to Vancouver to sign the papers for her role in Supernatural. Jensen walks into the bedroom a moment later and she can't help, but check him out. She notices how low the towel is wrapped around his hips, his toned abs, his perfectly shaped bow legs, are running through her mind. As much as she doesn't like thinking about sex right now, she can't help, but stare at the beautiful Jensen Ackles. "You okay?" Jensen's voice interrupts her thoughts, she just had about him. She blinks and looks at him, nodding, not really trusting her own words.
He nods and gives you a small smile as he grabs a pair of boxers, a jeans and a flannel. He takes his clothes on, before applying some cologne. "You ready?" He asks her softly and she nods getting off the bed. They walks downstairs into the hallway to take their shoes on. When they're about to leave Y/N remembers the beer in the fridge.
"Wait, the beer." She heads into the kitchen and takes the beer out of the fridge. "I almost forgot about that." He says with a small laugh.
"Good, that I remembered." She says, smiling at him. Jensen walks out of the house after her and closes the door, making sure it's locked, before they walk to Jared's house. He takes her hand in his as he carries the beer with the other hand.
A few minutes later, Y/N rings the doorbell and smiles lovingly, when she sees Gen with baby Shep in her arms. He sleeps peacefully, sucking onto his pacifier. "Hey." Y/N whispers softly and hugs Gen's side, kissing Shep's head gently. "Hey." She whispers back and smiles at them, before leading them inside.
Jensen and Y/N walk into the backyard, where Jared, Misha, Mark and some other friends of the crew already are. Jared gets of his chair almost immediately up, when he sees them. "Hey." He says softly and pulls Y/N into a tight hug as Jensen greets the others first.
"I'm so sorry." He whispers and kisses her head gently. She gives him a weak smile, nodding before she pulls away. Misha suddenly comes to her and pulls her into a hug, without saying a word, what she totally prefers in that moment. "Who's hungry?" Jared asks with a huge smile. Jared loves throwing barbecue parties. Jared loves, when the whole crew and cast gets together. "Me, I'm starving." She says with a small laugh, before Jared and Jensen walk to the grill.
Y/N and Misha sit down and start catching up on each other. Thankfully, Misha doesn't bring up the thing from the day before.
''Dude, I don't know what to do.'' Jensen tells Jared, rubbing his chin. He looks up from the grill and looks at Jensen. "I'm so sorry, when Gen told me what happened, i didn't really know what to do. I just don't get, how men do that to women ?" Jared says with a small sigh. "I don't understand either." Jensen says with a small sigh and Jared gives him a sympathetic smile, patting his back. "Everything will be fine, just give her some time." Jensen nods with a small smile, before looking at Y/N and watching her laugh about something Misha said, thanks Misha.
"But Jar." "Yeah?" Jared says and looks up from the grill to look at Jensen. "Since a week or so, I have been thinking about...about proposing to Y/N and-." "You what?" Gen interrupts quietly, standing behind them.
Jensen turns around and sees a huge smile on her face, then he looks back to Jared, who also smiles. "Nice to hear that, but isn't that a bit too fast?" Jared asks gently, just wanting his friends to be safe and happy. "Maybe, but I don't want to wait anymore. I love her, man. I want her to be my wife, like now. I want to make her happy and spend the rest of my life with her." He tells his friends. Gen and Jared look at each other, before smiling at Jensen. "Do you have a specific plan?" She asks curiously, since she thinks her best friend deserves the most beautiful proposal.
"I thought about traveling through Europe and then in Venice or Amsterdam or Rome I want to purpose to her." He rambles a bit, excitement rushing through him. "Oh my God, you are so romantic." Gen says and hits his shoulder playfully. "But don't forget about JIBCON." Jared says with a laugh. "I never could." "I will help you with your plan." Gen says happily and excitedly. Jensen nods and smiles thankfully at her.
"This will be amazing, when my best friends are finally getting married." He says happily. "I hope she's gonna say yes." "She will." He assures Jensen.
"Who will what?" Y/N asks curiously. "Uh- My mom will be happy to see you again." He stutters nervously. "I will be happy too." She says with a smile, even tho she notices his nervousness. "Jensen, can I talk to you for a minute?" Jared asks. "Sure." He says and they walk into Jared's office.
That was weird, he's hiding something, Y/N tells herself. She looks around and notices all the alcohol, wanting to drown herself in it. She grabs herself a drink, a heavy one. To be honest, Y/N isn't much of a drinker, but right now she just wants to get drunk and forget about what happened.
She sits down between Jared and Misha, while Jensen and Gen sit across from them. They eat and talk, have some laughs, but the drinks for Y/N kept coming. Jensen feels angry with her, if he's being honest, not understanding why she's drinking so much.
"Y/N, maybe you should stop." Jensen says gently and is about to take the drink out of her hands, but she grips it tighter, turning away from him. "No, I-I don't think so." She slurs and finishes the drink in one go. Jared and Gen look worriedly at each other, before looking at Y/N again.
She refills her glass with whiskey one more time and Jensen grows angrier. Gen walks over to her. "Honey, I don't know how you're feeling, but-". "Yes, you're right you don't know how I'm feeling." She snaps at her and cuts her off, sipping her drink. Jared and Jensen come over to the two.
She refills it again and finishes it fast. "You'll definitely got enough." Jared says and takes her glass. She pouts in protest, slurring something they can't figure out. "Jensen, please just take her home, I-We don't want to fight with her. I mean she's completely drunk." Gen says soft, not really being mad at Y/N. "I'm so sorry, guys." Jensen says rubbing his face in embarrassment. "Y/N we go. Now!" He tells her firmly and grabs her wrist before dragging her through the front door.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?!" He yells at her, but she just laughs at him. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" She mocks him laughing, she really can't take him seriously at all. He walks in front of her and turns around. "I don't know what is going on inside your head, but you never drink your problems away, y/n/n." She just laughs.
"It's senseless, you take nothing serious right now." He says with a sigh, rubbing his face. A few minutes later he opens the door, leading the two of them inside. She looks at her phone, it's 5 minutes after midnight.
"Happy birthday Baby." She slurs and starts kissing him messily. Jensen feels a bit uncomfortable as hs pushes you away gently. "Thank you, but you're drunk. You will regret this next morning." He tells her softly. "I don't care." She slurs and starts kissing him harshly.
"Y/N we can't do this." He swallows hard. "Of course we can, it's your birthday." She kisses his neck sloppily. "Enough, y/n!" He exclaims and pushes her gently away. "Just get some sleep." He says quietly. "When it's that what you want." She slurs and he sighs. She walks into living room and plops down on the couch, falling asleep almost immediately.
