It might just be my accidental Five Nights at Freddy’s phase that is apparently happening, but the idea of Michael Afton and Gerry Keay interacting currently has my brain in a chokehold. They would be so salty and do so much arson for a couple of dead British guys.
Day four of doing a doodle for every episode of the Magnus Archives, until I get bored. I fully forgot that this episode was so early in the series, but in honor of the first appearance of my beloved Gerry Keay, the first appearance of a Leitner, and the first mention of Mike Crew, we have my favorite one of these so far.

I always liked the idea of Gerry somehow knowing Gertrude's plan but not being able to tell Michael for whatever reason. Perhaps the eye in a sick joke granting him a vision of exactly what would happen when Michael and Gertrude arrived in Russia, but simply making it impossible for him to say it.
I imagine Gerry downright desperate, begging Michael not to follow Gertrude into this, but as we all know it...He trusted her.
And just one time. Just this once... Gerry wished he'd trusted him instead.
How unfortunate.
