Creature design is not what I've drawn a lot in the past, but since starting development for Sweet Nightmares, I'm definitely pushing my comfort zones in drawing them!
Concept art of Daire the Satyr (featured in the bottom right). He won't be quite showing up immediately, but hopefully when he has his spotlight, he'll turn out to be an endearing character for our readers :)
On a side note, it's funny that the one design ended up being based on the prettiest goat of the three I was studying from. Don't get me wrong about Test 1 (buff) and Test 2 (scrappy), they did have potential. But I think Test 3's (himbo) flowy hair is what influenced my husband's bias. Either ways, this was a good exercise for drawing masculine anthro.

Tommy POV I was walking around a village when I saw an old-looking traveler. Something felt off about the person but I approached the person either way. "Hello, there what can I help a young boy like you with." The person smiled sweetly at me. I shrugged. "Suprise me," I said curiously about what the old traveler had. The old traveler took out an Iron axe, a wooden sword, a stick with knockback 5 on it, and writing supplies. The thing that caught my eye was what was in the old traveler's pocket...It was a map, I pointed to it. "How much for the weird map?" I asked looking back up at the old traveler. The traveler smiled. "Three ancient debris should be enough." Holding up three fingers they stated. I was flabbergasted I mean that's three pieces ancient of debris for crying out loud! I check my inventory and I had only two pieces of ancient debris. I looked at the traveler. "Can you wait here for a couple of minutes?" I asked closing up my inventory. The traveler nodded their head. "I have nothing better to do for now so sure." (After annoying philza and Techno for some ancient debris, and trading it for the map) I was in the forest with my best bud Tubbo and Ranboo. We had decided to go to a mansion and loot it, but of course, seeing how we're not 'mature enough' Techno and Wil had to tag along. The two of them were walking behind us. I decided to pick up my speed some so I started to run. Tubbo and Ranboo followed suit. When Techno and Wil were out of sight I slowed down and looked toward Tubbo and Ranboo. "Did they follow us?" I stopped and ate some steak to fill my hunger bar up. Tubbo shook his head no. "At least I don't think so?" He looks back just to double-check. Ranboo looked at me and then asked. "Umm...hey Tommy how come we left Techno and Wil back there?" He pointed behind him. Tubbo nodded his head agreeing. "Yeah, why did we?" I sighed then opened my inventory to take out a map that looked really old and was a dark brown with white lines and landmarks on it and showed it to them. I pointed to what looked like a mansion and it had a blue X on it. "There's something here in this mansion."

Yay, I drew another goat (goat boy? goat person??), cool. I tried to get more into painting actual backgrounds, as my last illustrations where kind of lacking in that department. Also this paintings colour palette and general 'vibe' was heavily referenced from the music video for 'wonderland' by Aimer, although I would not call it outright fanart.
