headcanon that everyone was in a heated, lore-heavy battle of the century, when suddenly they heard the ice cream truck so everyone stopped and got ice cream ( I will be making more of the other people I'll do them tomorrow)

Random world-building headcanons:

This au works like the X-men's universe, powers are real and those who have powers are considered mutants

There's a lot of stigma (ranging from concern of safety to wanting every mutant incarcerated or dead) regarding being a mutant, so most people choose to hide their powers

Every type of mutation requires a different set of affected genes

Also for someone to be a mutant, they need at least one of their parents' side of the family to carry those genes

Mutations can be activated in the womb, straight from the womb, in early childhood, as a consequence of puberty or through intense stress and trauma. Most commonly they appear in a person's late teens, almost never later in adulthood

Superheroes! There are superheroes

Well not many consider themselves superheroes actually

The Coon, Fastpass, Captain Diabetes, Super Craig and Wonder Tweek are public superheroes which means that their identity is known to the public, they go on interviews and frequently interact with fans.

Toolshed, Human Kite and Mosquito aren't well known but they're not hidden either. They rarely interact with the public.

Mysterion, Call Girl and Doctor Timothy are completly underground. Mysterion was active in the past, when they were 10 and he was playing superhero, then he went awol, no one knows if he's back or not. Doctor Timothy and Call Girl have never placed themselves on the map.

Call Girl and Toolshed don't consider themselves superheroes

Professor Chaos is still a villain. He never really had a choice ;)

Human Kite redesign!

So i couldn't decide what colour the underside of his kite should be 😅 tbh i still don't know so let's ignore it for the moment

Alrighty then headcanon time:

His costume is based off of skydivers/parachutists with army inspirations

There are two protable oxygen tanks on his back under the suit, attached to his helmet by a tube

The kite attaches via magnet

The underside of his kite will be a dark color for camouflage in the night sky, while the top will be his classic red and yellow

Also the kite's grey edge is a blade! It's his main weapon in combat. He's wearing special gloves to grab the blade without slicing his hand open

His helmet has a voice modifier that makes Kyle's voice sound like it has been tossed in the garbage disposal

Kyle actually wasn't the one to put together his suit lol

Remember this scene?

Jumping off that building and suffering head trauma activated his mutation, which is, you guessed it, psychic abilities! More specifically telekinesis (for now)

I believe with my whole heart psychic kyle is canon like i know it was just an end of the episode joke but jvdavdavkadbsf

Why is his superhero persona an elementalist flier when his superpower is telekinesis? Well he wanted to continue the legacy of his childhood persona, Human Kite, but also if people found out he was a mutant they couldn't trace his powers to Human Kite's powers

Oh yeah no one knows Kyle's a mutant

/Especially/ his parents he dreads the possibility of them finding out

Kyle was in a state of denial for a long time, years, after his mutation activated

How does he fly? Telekinesis! He lifts himself like he would an object lmao

No wind powers either its all telekinesis

Human Kite is only active at night he wanted to be as low-key as possible

He was only discovered because of reports of an unidentified flying object in the city. Authorities thought it might be aliens so they investigated lol

Well they still think its aliens since Human Kite has never stood for an interview. Always on the run

His usual routine consists of scanning the city from above looking for possible threats. This usually takes about a half hour

The other superheroes are currently aware of Human Kite

When another superhero is fighting more than they can handle he swoops in and assists them. He's gone before they have a chance to speak with him tho

Human Kite has a special bond with Call Girl

Funnily, even tho Kyle and Stan are best friends, Human Kite and Toolshed hate eachother's guts

The fact Butters just, is in your house at the end of FBW, always makes me lose it, it's so funny, WHY is he there. I do hc tho that he totally uses this opportunity to pitch his evil legion to the New Kid again, and they're like, fuck it, Imma protect this adorable dork as his top minion.
