Alright, no one asked for this, but I wanted to make it anyway.

Free noise generators

Arctic Wolves. With human sounds (footsteps, etc.) turned off. For wolfkin, obviously.

Irish Coast. Default settings. Perhaps for seals or shorebirds. Idk.

Autumn Walk. With footsteps turned off. Perfect for a deciduous forest animal like a deer or crow. Something that might live in a park.

Primeval Forest. Great for any forest animal, like a fox or a rabbit.

Black Hole. A soundscape that might be nice for any spacekin.

Rain in the City. The settings I have it at are great for any city-dwelling animals like opossums, raccoons or pigeons.

In the Sky and Gregorian Chants. For my angelkin out there. Maybe even layer them.

Spaceship and Modern Spaceship. For any alienkin or space-faring fictionkin. Don’t layer these. It sounds pretty bad.

Cat Purr. For cats. Obviously.

Unreal Ocean. Any marine therians will be into this.

Desert Wind. It’s more of a Saharan desert kind of vibe than one I’d prefer as a Sonoran critter, but maybe someone will find this helpful.

Northern Forest. Another forest noise generator.

Old Mansion. For any ghostkin who might be reading, if that’s your kind of thing. I don’t know. Maybe that’s a stereotype. If you’re more of a spooky woods kind of specter, I gotchu: RPG Dark Forest.

Underwater, complete with whales.

Full Moon Forest. For forest critters of the nocturnal variety.

Polar Expedition. For arctic therians that would prefer the snow and ice without the wolf howls.

African Wildlife. I know there are quite a few hyena and lion therians out there. Every time you visit the page these next few are on, it will be different. Just keep that in mind.

Mermaids Calling. I’ve seen a lot of mermaidkin around!

Ocean Life. As an osprey I really love this one. It works for a lot of theriotypes, I think.

Space Odyssey. Same deal as the spaceship ones, but it could be even better.

Lush Jungle. Self-explanatory.

So recently my precious baby bun has been getting shit about his skin because he has acne. Which EVERYONE has dealt with at least once in their life, or still is dealing with it. It’s not a big deal, it’s just skin, it doesn’t change what an amazing person Jungkook is. And honestly I love his acne, it just makes him normal and human. Every imperfection he has, in my eyes, just makes him even more perfect so that’s why I’m making this appreciation post about his perfect imperfections which I adore with all my heart

I love Jungkook with every fiber of my being and all I wanna do is protect him. If anyone hates on him I will fite them. He is not disgusting, he is not overrated, he is none of the things I‘ve seen these assholes call him. i love the way this piece is animated so much. like, almost unreasonably much.

when he’s laughing he’s still in the same pose he had when he was struggling on the stairs, his body is laid across the stair edges - not very good for grip.

but when he snaps forward he slides down a bit to sit and get a stronger footing, and you can nicely see the bend of his body when he goes in a sitting position

he needed to get into that pose because next thing he does is that amazing backflip, and he needed to have strong footing so that he could push himself off

I SWEAR TO GOD I FEEL LIKE HALF OF MY CRUSH ON DIO STEMS FROM JUST HOW DAMN WELL ANIMATED THE OVA WAS

also he has a pitch black shirt where only the highlights show his form, and it gives him a very distinct, real looking mass and depth. he has a different vibe than the other characters have bc black is used slightly differently when animated. it often has no shadows, it only has highlights, while other characters often don’t have highlights and mostly rely on shadows for depth

DIO’s body in the OVA looks like it moves in such a real way, and don’t even get me started on the god damned realistic animation weight, Polnareff also absolutely slays in that department, especially in the box scene.

I have so many thoughts on the friendship between Flynn and Cassandra, I could write a million essays on it. But something that has really jumped out to me during my current rewatch is the way these two just easily understand each other without even trying.

They talk without having to verbally communicate most of what they're saying. They don't even seem to be aware of the fact everyone else in the room is looking at them in confusion because they can't hear the unspoken parts of the conversation.

They bounce ideas off each other so easily, instantly pick up on each other's trains of thought, and practically finish the other's sentences or ideas.

These two neurodivergent geeks, who never had anyone in their life truly grasp what goes on inside their head, suddenly found someone who knows and it's like they instantly latched onto that connection.

Cassandra also has her very close friendship with the other LITs, and Flynn has his relationship with Eve, but it's their friendship with each other that lets them both explore and indulge the parts of themself that other people just don't understand.

Cassandra is definitely the one out of the LITs that is most like Flynn, both in her skills as a Librarian and also in her personality and how her lightning speed thoughts tend to get translated into her words and interactions with others. (Which is a whole other topic I'd love to dive into another day.) But, yeah, it makes so much sense why they have no trouble at all understanding each other.

(Edit: Nope, that was supposed to be the end of the post but I have too many thoughts that need to be shouted into the void. Their friendship is very important to me. So...)

Jumping back to the very beginning - During the first two episodes, Flynn is perpetually annoyed by Ezekiel and just kinda ignores Stone. But Cassandra… He's absolutely fascinated by her from the moment they first meet. He takes a minute out of their incredibly urgent life-and-death mission to discuss her being a synesthete and geek out a little over the fact she has an eidetic memory like him. And Cassandra's immediate reaction of "Yes, wow" is like she can't believe someone is capable of immediately understanding what's going on inside her head and is 100% okay with that and not at all bothered by her being "different".

And then they get to Stonehenge:

And I think this is the moment Flynn really starts to appreciate how brilliant Cassandra is, and how very much like him she is. Flynn is a fairly competitive person with a genius brain like no other, but he doesn't get upset or offended when she takes over the calculations, and even carries them out faster than he could have. If anything, he looks genuinely impressed. He instantly understands what information she needs and readily gives it to her so they can continue solving the puzzle. They immediately settle into this easy back and forth, this rapid exchange of information and clues as they work at putting together the pieces. He's able to talk to her in a way he can't talk to anyone else. It's probably been a long time (if ever) since he's interacted with someone who can keep up with him.

Even after Cassandra has betrayed Flynn -- causing him to lose his home, the only family he had left, his best friend, and potentially his life -- he instantly accepts her back on the team and even sticks up for her when the others object. At this point, she hasn't apologized, shown any indication of remorse, or had a chance to make amends. And it doesn't matter to him. "She had her reasons" - and that's enough for him. He lets her out of the cell and immediately wants to hear her plan for stopping the Brotherhood.

And I think this is the moment when Cassandra -- similar to Flynn's realization at Stonehenge -- suddenly realizes that someone else can grasp her thought process. That someone understands the way her brain works. That someone is capable of following her trains of thought and not getting lost in the ordered chaos of her mind.

Just look at her smile!! She is trying to get across what she wants to say, and she's so used to having to break things down for others and still not being understood, and here's someone who instantly picks up what she's trying to convey. Look how utterly happy and excited she is when he gets it.

I love how much they appreciate each other's genius. I love how they can communicate on a different level. I love how much they genuinely care about each other.

And I absolutely love that it's through Flynn that Cassandra manages to have her moment for redemption, because he's already clearly demonstrated that he's the one member of the group she doesn't have to prove herself to.

I just... 😭😭😭

I love that Flynn has zero people skills and a very weak grasp on the concept of friendship and yet he meets this brilliant, weird, amazing young person and pretty much instantly connects with her. Because, like her, he also spent most of his life invisible and now someone actually understands him and is already so important to him, even if it's a while yet before he'll really fully understand the concept of friendship.

I love that Cassandra has spent most of her life feeling unseen and never truly accepted by the people around her. And then she meets someone who immediately sees her and understands how her mind works and appreciates and trusts her, and who introduces her to this life of mystery and magic where she can use her talents to save the world… and she already knows that he's important to her even if she doesn't realize just how much her life is going to change because of him.

There's SO MUCH more I could say about their friendship, but I should probably channel some of it into an actual blog post at some point. For now, here's some cute moments I grabbed while getting the screenshots for this post:

What you and Bakugo had was nothing serious, just casual sex and nothing more as he always said.

He was always too busy with work for anything more.

And so there was really no need for him to come over when you were sick, right?

“What are you doing here?” you ask, voice hoarse as you open the door to see Bakugo casually walking in, hands full with heavy bags.

“Well you sounded like shit over the phone so thought I’d bring some things over to help.” he says as he begins unloading the bags, the inside contents varying from fruit, soup, medicine, and other useful things to random items that you don't even need, like those unnecessary curly straws.

“Uhh, thanks?” you question, “I’m not fucking you, you know?”

“Damn straight you’re not, I ain’t sleeping with someone who’s coughing their guts up. I’m not into that.” he blurts out, as he finishes emptying the bags.

You roll your eyes at his ridiculousness as he guides you to the sofa and begins setting up everything you might need on the coffee table.

“I got the day off work tomorrow so I’m gonna stay over tonight, you know just to make sure you don’t die or anything.”

“How nice.” you joke as you smile at him, “So you do care about me?”

“Don’t get ahead of yourself.” he mumbles, pulling you onto his lap and flicking through the shitty tv shows that he always mocks you for watching.

ex bf - Eijiro Kirishima

You two had broken up but also kinda not really, you still talk almost all of the time and occasionally end up in each other’s beds.

So it’s no wonder he’s the first over to look after you when he hears you’re sick, the two of you were basically still together without the title.

He's annoying but you love him.

“Pass the remote, this movie’s shit.” Kirishima says from where he’s leaning back on one end of the sofa.

“Get it yourself, I’m sick.” you groan, rolling over to your side.

“Oh yeah, right." he remembers, lifting his head to look at you, before sitting up to grab the remote and passing you a snack from the table, “You look cute like this, you know?”

“I look like a mess.”

“A cute mess.” he says, “my cute mess.”

“I'm not your anything, we broke up 3 months ago.” you raise your eyebrows at him.

“2 and a half.”

You turn your attention back to the TV, “Do the specifics really matter?”

“Alright sorry we can go with your rounded up 3 months then.” he says raising his hands in mock surrender, “My smoothie must've been good because your voice sounds better, you sound less like you smoke 30 a day.”

“You’re so charming.” you scoff but the affection in your tone is still there

“I love you too, my little snotty mess.” he teases before laying on top of you enough to almost crush you.

Always feels uncomfortable when someone’s sick, like he doesn’t know what to do

Tries his best though because he wants to take care of you the way you do, him.

Usually ends up looking up what to do on google and then does everything and anything he sees.

“Touya what is all this?” you mumble as you open your eyes from your nap.

“Well I looked up all of your symptoms, a bunch of possible things came up, there might be a 50% chance you’re dying.”

“How reassuring.” you joke, a knowing smile on your face.

He rolls his eyes, “Well it’s probably just a bug but gotta' cover all bases, you know?” he says “Apparently ginger is good for nausea so there's ginger tea on the side, and some ginger biscuits, a carrot and ginger soup and then also some ginger shot thing, I don’t know but I think that’s good.” He rambles on as he runs you through everything.

“Now that you’ve rested, if you just eat and keep hydrated, then I’ll run you a bath and you’ll feel better in no time.”

“Well I don’t need all of that, but I appreciate the consideration. You didn’t have to buy all this for me though.”

“Oh I didn’t, I used your card.”

And you just laugh as you reach for a biscuit because of course he did.

best friend - Hitoshi Shinso

Less vocal about his care but it’s there, you know it is.

Offers to do anything you need. Planned to buy groceries? He’s already out of the door to get them. Wanted to clean the house? He’s practically turned into a personal maid.

Will use his quirk to keep you in bed if he has to.

“You said you wouldn’t use you quirk on me again.” you sigh as you look at him with a raised eyebrow.

“No, I said I wouldn’t use it on you for no reason.” he adds in as he opens the windows in your bedroom. “Would you like some water?”

“I’m not answering that.”

“You already did.” he grins as you chuck your pillow at him, “Kidding, kidding, I don’t plan on using it again, as long as you do as you’re told and stay in bed.”

"Fine, fine." you give up. "Maybe I should get sick more often if it has you waiting on me hand and foot."

He smirks, handing you the pillow back, "I'd do that even when you're not sick, you know, if you actually let me, instead of acting all independent 25/8." he shakes his head, looking down at you.

coworker - Izuku Midoriya

The two of you are both pro heroes that regularly work together and when he overhears one of his favourite heroes is sick? He’s straight there

He’s very caring and selfless of course

He's responsible enough to make sure everything is stable before he up and leaves his duties.

Asks how you’re feeling about 20 times a minute because his mind is racing.

“Izuku, what are you-”

“I heard you weren’t feeling well. Have you been sleeping? Did you get injured-” he begins listing off a million different things that could be wrong.

“Chill, it’s just a small cold, no big deal.” you reassure him.

“Well still…you work yourself too hard and it’s having an effect on your immune system.” he says disappointedly, “You can’t be a hero if you don’t take care of yourself, you’re as bad as kacchan, if not worse.” he shakes his head

He’s immediately making himself at home in your kitchen, preparing a soup and when you tell him there’s canned soup in the cupboard, he scoffs, “I’m making a vegetable soup that my Mum used to make for me when I was sick, it’ll do you much better."

"It's okay I-"

"No, buts. Go and relax on the sofa or have a refreshing shower. I'll bring it to you when it's done. Can't have one of my best suffering, can I?" he says as your eyes meet his and you can feel your cheeks heating up.

So tender and caring when you’re sick

He knows exactly how to take care of you and honestly probably knew you were getting sick before you did.

Has Fuyumi look after the kids so he can focus fully on you.

“No don’t worry, I have everything covered. Kids are gonna stay with Fuyumi for a few days and she’ll make sure they’re all sorted." He says, tenderly rubbing small circles on your hand.

"Touya offered to take them in but I don’t trust our little girls not to come back with some dodgy hairstyle with spray-in hair colour.” He jokes, earning you a small laugh.

"Good choice." you smile as he checks your temperature again.

"Since the medicine, your fever's going down slowly. Do you want another peppermint tea?" He says softly as he looks over your face with concern.

"No, just want cuddles." you mumble and of course he obliges. He's instantly under the duvet, pulling you in close to him as he wraps both arms securely around you.

"You're not worried about getting sick?"

"Nothing will ever keep me away from you, much less a small bug." he tuts as if it's obvious, kissing the top of your head.

"Came Back" A silly idea that I had last night Xd small context, Arthur, the dad comes back after 100 years of wandering (a kind of curse) and finally returns to his family.
