It is okay to stop acting tough all the time. Sometimes it is okay for you not to be strong. It is okay to just be honest with yourself and admit whatever you feel inside... Yeah, it is okay to say that you are having a hard time or a bad day or even just a bad mood... It is okay to feel naked, defenseless and fragile. Sometimes you need to let yourself break into pieces so they finally fall into right places...

An Update As To My Life
Our boys cross-country team qualified for nationals. Nationals. As in, Nike Cross-Country "We Pay For Everything Because You People Are Actually Amazing and We're Talking the Whole Nation" Nationals.
My cross season, on the other hand, is over, and Regionals was fun but I still am kind of having trouble getting over the whole we're-one-of-the-slowest-girls-teams-our-school-has-seen-in-decades thing. I mean, after everything we've put in for six days a week for around 45 weeks a year over all of the past four years? Four of us have stuck with it this whole time, and we all had dreams of leading a team to greatness. Not, you know, watching the extremely talented and hardworking boys our age (and actually, their best runners are underclassmen) do so while we cheer on the sidelines.
It's just kind of hard to deal with. Especially because now the girls' soccer team is in semi-finals for state, for also the first time in forever.
I suppose it is times like this that make me think that if I can't be a spectacular runner, and if I can't be half as good a singer as a lot of my friends, at least I can do some of both and be helpful from a purely organizational standpoint.
how about i get into college and i stop worrying about this. hmm.
Also, I lied. Cross isn't kind of hard to deal with right now, it's really hard to deal with.
