TERU WHAT THE FUCK??
Literally just read the newest tbhk chapter and it fucking squeezed the waterfalls out of my eyes.
I started to like Teru, I really did but this fucker wants to kill both Hanako and Yashiro. I can't take this anymore ( ;´ - `;)
Tired because Im drawing Sumire from tbhk (for my homework) and why Aidairo art is so detail, like bruhh whyy 😭😭😭 and why my OCD is making me suffering 🙃🙃
Idk I drew Hananene art today
First pic is the inked and coloured version and second is the sketch. Sorry if the colours on Hanako was weird it was a test.
Ahh my friend did such a great job (love u Zan!) We'll be using this account in the meantime to post lol.

JSHK FanFic: Forgotten Past +Theory!
"You Remind Me of Someone"
Description: This came from a theory of mine in which I was thinking that like Yano (who got her name from Misaki) Amane got his name "Hanako" from someone when he was alive too so here goes the one-shot? (Maybe not though lol)
———
Hanako walked through the bathroom stalls, reminiscing of what happened in his past life. He felt rather weird, as if something would change his life in the far shore— like a pebble causing ripples in the calm water.
He then paused and lifted his gaze which landed on the mirror in front of him.
He sighed heavily and mumbled "Water that is calm and quiet runs deep indeed." And as the words left his mouth his eyes widened in realization, still staring at his faint reflection on the blurry mirror he muttered the words..
"I truly am a mystery."
He never quite understood himself, and legend says he would continue to.
And yet a certain person does.
"Magenta eyes.."
He looked at the door.
"Light colored hair.."
And took a step.
Then a knock was heard, followed by two more.
"The halls should be empty by now." Hanako thought
"Hanako-san, Hanako-san"
"Yes."
"I'm here.." he whispered, suddenly feeling nostalgic.
A bright smiling face flashed in his mind
The same face that belonged to the person he failed to save.
Memories he locked away came flooding back— and with that, the quiet river was startled once more.
He opened the door slowly, catching a glimpse of the petrified girl.
She went pale in shock— her figure obviously trembling
"Would you look at that, her fat ankles are shaking.."
"Just like her."
———
So this is the end for the FanFic which would hopefully have a part 2. Happy Birthday to my best friend who's also a JSHK fan! <3
Feel free to like and reblog! Share your theories if you will :)
(Lol Tumblr hates me again and deleted this draft so I had to rewrite it xD)
Would it be okay if I started talking about some old Jibaku Shounen/Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun manga chapters?
I just want to get it out of my system and talk it out.
I will not spam post, I'll schedule them for specific times. Not that anybody will even see this post of me asking but I still did.
So, I decided before I talk, analyze, theorize and just go crazy about old manga chapters of Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun, I'll just share my favourite panels bc I kind of need more time 😂, part 1? It's not even a question, they'll be more parts.
Start!
Don't question why I love it.
Pretty Yashiro. 😍
I... I don't know, upside-down Hanako is cute.
First step to falling in love. I mean--
Pretty Yashiro, again.
Creepy Hanako my beloved. I mean-- I have issues.
Why does this look more badass than the anime?
We all know this scene, still love the panel.
I can hear this panel... 😂
Hot teacher... can I say that? 🙈
And reached the limit... You can ignore me. Just sharing my love. I will not spam. And quality is wonky, can't do something. Bye. 🏃🏻♀️💨
Happy New Year!
Or at least I hope it is bc timezones are different, still!
And how am I gonna start this year? With cut out content from season 1 of Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun! Yay!
Season 1 of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun has 12 episodes which covers up about 7 volumes, more or less, bc chapters were cut.
Those chapters being:
The Young Exorcist (chapters 9-10)
The Three Clock Keepers (chapters 23-27)
The Searching (chapters 28-29)
Let's see...
These chapters happen in between The Confession Tree and The 4pm Bookstacks.
Although it's not a big cut, it has character and relationship development that I would have liked to see.
I can understand why they cut it, it doesn't seem so important but, if/when season 2 happens, I would love to see it. Will we? Maybe not.
Next...
These chapters happen in between The Tea Party and Reach Out Your Hand.
And these chapters are IMPORTANT! At the last episode of season 1, a.k.a episode 12, the rumor about clocks is teased. But with the season ending and these being important chapters which would confirm in a way a second season, they were cut.
First of all!
Hanako can do THIS!
Though he gets slapped out of her body later on. 😂
Anyway! And...
We get more Akane plot or more like, we learn who the No.1 of the Seven Mysteries is, which consists of 3 people, the Past, the Present which is Akane and the Future. And we get a bit of Aoi plot which by the way...
Does she even tell this something? Am I dumb that I have not noticed if she has or not? Someone tell me...
But anyway, these chapters are not only important for the introduction of No.1 but also about the information that Yashiro has about a year of life and that Hanako cannot be summoned by anyone but only or mostly only from people that are close to death.
Which makes me question, does that mean Sakura also has a shortened life span? Or is it different? You know, because she is bound to Tsukasa but instead he is someone who grants wishes to the dead. Which also, how is he bound to Sakura? Why? And how did she summoned him?
And Last...
Ah, yes, what a panel. I mean, if you are this low in the post, you have already entered spoilers territory, so it don't matter!
These chapters are the aftermath of The Three Clock Keepers events where Hanako decides to play hide and seek-- joking but I mean, it's accurate.
And honestly, Hanako is moping around, and then when Yashiro finds him, he is looking at the sky which btw bc he wanted to be an astronaut and he generally had a love for the sky/stars etc. Looking at the sky could be bringing him some kind of comfort, or maybe a longing feeling, I don't know but he does it a lot.
And to end on a positive note/panels.
This. This is the kiss. And I died when I saw it. The aftermath of it's funny though.
LOOK AT THEM BEING FLUSTERED!
And then he goes on to tell her she shouldn't do that bc she's a girl and just, they are so close when he says it... and I'll be honest, I don't know who ruins it first, Kou or Hanako himself by saying whose the letter addressed to. 😂
I'm done and this was a chunky one. Probably the next post will be about my favorite panels since I got the cut content out of the way. I did reach the limit in this post as well and I do like all the panels I put so it's like, part 1 of me talking about old manga chapters but part 1.5 of my favourite panels. 🤣 To anyone who read all of this. Thank you. I don't know how you wouldn't get bored with a long post. And I'm making it longer by babbling.
Bye! See you in the next post! 💖
Favourite Panels! Part 2!
Start!
Kou, baby. 🥺 this is what I meant development, rather it is about character or relationship.
Friends! Though, I think we all know that Kou has a crush...
I know he is panicking but... pretty boy. 🥺
Honestly, this happened after Tsukasa first showed at the roof but the anime moved it to episode 12...
It hurts but it looks so beautiful... 😢
Well then... I don't know.
"Gotcha!" 😂
Tsukasa, you are too close and you look too much like Hanako. (ik they are twins)
Although this is a nice panel, her having the key never gets touched upon, or hasn't yet?
And the panel that gets to be last is badass Hanako, as it should be. 🤩
And done. Reached the limit! Next post will be about events after the anime. Woo, Picture Perfect Arc here we come! ...shit.
ANYWAY! BYE! 🏃🏻♀️💨
PICTURE PERFECT ARC/FAKE WORLD ARC!
Before I get to that... can we talk about THIS?
Summer Festival chapters 37-38, this panel is in 38.
And Yashiro decides that THIS was a dream! I mean, it could have been but does anyone of us believe that? No! Plus, let's say it was a dream, why did Yashiro dream of little Hanako/Amane to say "you're my type" while she has multiple times REFUSED that she likes Hanako in that way. I can't...
NEXT!
Honestly, when this arc started (I had gotten spoiled that this would happen) I thought "oh, Hanako is alive now...", I was confused just as much as Yashiro was and then when I saw Mitsuba is alive as well... something definitely felt off. The fact that only Kou and Yashiro were aware, didn't sit right with me. But it was cute and then...
This happens, and it's not cute, it's not fun. Though, question. Later on, it is revealed that both Hanako and Mitsuba were aware that this world was fake, Mitsuba knew for sure since he was there when it happened but Hanako obviously wasn't dumb enough to believe that it was real, since he was alive in 1960s not when Yashiro is. Anyway, my question is, why didn't Akane get drugged into this? And if he did, which I don't think so, why wasn't he aware? Another question... where was Teru? Though it wouldn't be wise to have him in that world but still, he said nothing after the fact either. And yes, he hasn't for many events but he said something in the whole Clock Keepers chapters and this seemed just as an important thing to have happened... maybe he didn't notice but I somehow doubt that.
Also! Bc Hanako was aware or I guess, it was the real Hanako in that world the whole time...
HE DRUGGED THIS OUT OF YASHIRO AND GOD DAMN! This meant something to him. Her saying that she likes him as Amane as well and then later on...
The moment on the roof where Yashiro again says that she likes Hanako, mind you this is the second time she says it without adding "as a friend" after it.
Anyway though...
Yashiro learning about her shortened life span, both shocked me but it was also something I was expecting in a way. It's sad really, how even though Hanako pretended to not care if Yashiro dies (in the The Three Clock Keepers chapters), the reason why he didn't reveal himself, the reason why he didn't want to destroy this fake world was for Yashiro. He wants her to live and if this was a loophole, he would take it. Even if he made them, Kou and Yashiro, mad at him. He didn't care.
But of course, let me quickly introduce the No.4 of the Seven Mysteries, Shijima Mei. Honestly, her story confused me, like, is she dead and that's her dead spirit or is that her imaginary personality that came to life after her death? I got confused, I don't know.
Well, that's the end, the fake world was destroyed and this is the last panel of it. Honestly, I still have stuff to say but I will have a post solely focused on it, haha.
Next post will be favourite panels, and thank you for reading this, honestly...
Bye! 💖
Favouvite Panels! Part 3!
Start!
He.Looks.So.Good! 🤩
Hanakooooo... put the knife down. 😂
Grown up Kou! Grown up Kou!!
Yashiro looking dead, Hanako looking caught. Perfect panel. Okay, well... I don't know why I love this panel.
This... 😭😍
Pat the child!
Kou being all flustered. He has a crush, we all know it, right?
He... he... that was done on purpose, no? 😂
No, Tsukasa looking like a badass does not mean I like him... but I do not dislike him either and it has become confusing.
Oh, and this is the last panel I can pick from the limit... I will go cry now.
Limit reached! I will be out! Next post may or may not be focused on Hanako and Tsukasa in the Picture Perfect Arc. I don't knooooow.... ALSO! Posting this like, two days before the new chapter drops, hehe, loving it because when new chapters drop, I'll disappear! 😂
BYEEEE!! 🏃🏻♀️💨
Honestly, this might not be a big thing nor is it important but, I wanna talk about it. It drives me crazy about this arc.
In the Picture Perfect Arc, Tsukasa was there. At the time of this panel, we weren't aware, as readers, that Hanako was really there. What we knew is that, this was a fake. So when you learn he is actually there, him saying Tsukasa and the way the panel looks, it hurts.
So, naturally, Hanako in this world never killed Tsukasa, they are fine.
To Hanako, this Tsukasa in this world isn't real. He doesn't feel panic, nor ask why he is there but as readers we learn...
He truly is there. Which means, Tsukasa was well aware that Hanako was there but that doesn't mean Hanako knew. You can argue that he did know but even after he revealed that he was aware of everything, they never met with each other again after that one scene. I mean, yeah, what would be the reason for Hanako to know that the actual Tsukasa is there, but it was avoided so much. I don't know..
Okay... for now, that's how much of the Yugi twins I can take. Will they have another post focused on them? Absolutely, they have stolen my mind. Next post is favourite panels! Which last time didn't perfome well. Ironic.
For now... Bye! 💖
Favorite Panels! Part 4!
Start!
"Amane, Amane!" 😭
No.3 of the Seven Mysteries
Please, he was worried but also... did nobody notice some type of movement??
Jealous Hanako alert!! 😂
I will die.
I'm dead... WHY IS THIS SO CUTE?!
Look at hiiiiim. 🥺
I wouldn't believe Hanako was real either Yashiro... 🥲
Pretty boy. 🥺
And last panel is Yashiro and Kou running towards each other, finally seeing a familiar face that knows something is wrong, with Amane and Mitsuba in the background. 😂
Done! There goes the limit again! I feel bc of that, there'll be a lot of parts of this. Oh, God. Next post, next arc... OH, GOD!
Bye! 🏃🏻♀️💨
SACRIFICE OF THE GRIM REAPER ARC!
It starts with exams, ends with SADNESS! God, this arc killed me at the end of it.
With Yashiro knowing of her limited time, she wants to do something about it, and it's on her mind a lot, as it should be. Now, something like a camp is happening at the school so our characters are there, and so are a bunch of supernaturals.
Yashiro and Akane are almost taken, when they are suddenly saved by the No.6 of the Seven Mysteries, Shinigami. Last of the Mysteries to be introduced. And he takes Aoi.
So, of course we go on the journey to save her, end up in a hole full of bugs and what not and meet No.6's yorishiro.
What they did to the young maidens in the past just to get rid of supernaturals is not a plot I have not seen before, but that doesn't make it any less disturbing to see. How can they do it? It's kind of like this. You wouldn't want to die, you wouldn't want to be sacrificed, so why should someone else want that?
But that explained why Aoi was taken and why she was important. No.6 was planning to sacrifice her so the supernaturals and humans get separated. And accidentally, Akane made that sacrifice happen... which caused the Severance...
Chapter 71 can disappear for all I care. How dare they hurt me that way!
What was No.6 thinking? Huh?
Though, I understand that this happened because of Hanako in the first place. The seven mysteries are important for the safety of the school and what has been happening since the very beginning is taking that authority from them, with breaking their yorishiros.
We wouldn't have a story if those things didn't happen, No.6 wouldn't have done this. But... ugh, pain.
And with Aoi dead, Yashiro got a longer life span, Hanako fulfilled her wish in the way she didn't want and with him not really doing something, except not want to save Aoi. It feels selfish, bad... Yashiro wants to slap him...
But she mostly, doesn't want him to go. To disappear...
I'M NOT CRYING, YOU ARE!
Anyway, maybe this arc didn't have me saying much, but doesn't matter because it still hurt!
Bye! 💖
Minamoto Teru
Oh dear God. What a panel as well. 😂
Am I going to defend him? Not per se... it's more like giving a different perspective.
Recent chapters do not paint him in a favorable light, even older ones, like chapter 10, and some more but chapter 85 and 10 (and 87 you can say) have been stuck in my mind more.
And I believe the reason for it, is because of who our main characters are. A girl who meets a ghost and befriends an exorcist who doesn't want to exorcize ghosts.
What if our story had someone like Teru as our main character? I'm not saying specifically Teru because I can't see it, but what if our main was an exorcist, whose goal was to exorcize ghosts that from his perspective would be/seem evil, especially because of the rumors being a key factor with how the ghosts act.
It would be a completely different story, wouldn't you think?
Now take Teru..
Since the age of 8, he has been an exorcist, a talented one, as said in chapter 9, he doesn't know anything else. He was taught, ghosts/spirits/wonders, whatever you wanna call them, are evil. They want to harm humans, attack, eat, kill, steal, anything you can possibly be taught so that he can only think there is no good in them and that you shouldn't feel bad. Being the eldest, those things were most likely drilled into him, while Kou didn't undergo through all that, for the most part, because Teru took on heavy duty.
With this being said...
This 100% feels uncalled for. No, Hanako is not in the clear, he is at fault for the situation but Teru... is manipulating him, trying to make him drop his guard so that he can finally exorcize him. He knows where it would hurt him the most, make him more vulnerable. And it hurts to see it work...
Or the way he simply said to his brother "he's weak", it's heartbreaking. Of course, he protects him at the end but chapter 87 showed how much of a broken and even twisted character he is because of what he has gone through from a young age.
Anyway, when this is posted, like two more chapters are out but this was written back in December so...
An edit later, and after chapter 87, I've not changed much in the post, just added the last paragraph. But my point that Kou didn't go through the same things because Teru took heavy duty was 100% confirmed.
Bye! 🏃🏻♀️💨
What a fascinating thing it is to re-read something.
A while back, I had a theory about Kou and Yashiro messing with the timeline. More specifically, putting in motion the events of the yugi twins lives. That was back in December 2021, and I never ended up posting that theory. (it's still in my drafts)
The reason I'm bringing it up is because of recent events in the manga and a little theory of what the clock keepers changed.
Spoilers
It's fairly obvious that Hanako or Amane, more precisely, never killed Tsukasa, meaning that the 4 years old Tsukasa that Kou and Yashiro met in the red house never went back.
If it hasn't clicked yet...
I think the clock keepers changed a present type of event rather than a past one. Since Tsukasa in the new present still seems to be possessed and Amane lived beyond his 13 years old self (and got possessed as well wtf), it means that they never changed the event of Amane killing Tsukasa because it never happened. No, they changed Kou and Yashiro ever meeting toddler Tsukasa in the red house.
Tsukasa returned because Kou told him that Amane died at 13 and killed him as well. If the event of Yashiro and Kou going in the house had never happened in the first place, then the young boy would never go back. And in the new present, he didn't. Something else is going on with the both of them [Tsukasa, Amane] this time around, sure, but I do believe that at least one of the core things the clock keepers changed was that meeting in the red house.
Don't think I'm the first one to point this out. I just have a wack timing for it since I keep these things to myself.
coloring manga pages is. fun I think
panel is from chapter 12 woohoo
