I feel like we Carats and Seventeen are going through such a tough time right now , so many bad things has happened since even the beginning of the comeback like The8 getting ankle injury, Seventeen's quarantine and now cheol got injured (that too a little serious injury with like inflammation and cuts) . I don't really know how to put out my feelings at this point of time coz in one hand I'm so sad and frustrated about all these series of bad omens and at the same time I'm happy that nothing too extreme has happened and that the boys are still smiling infront of us and fighting till the end just for us to be happy...

I actually didn't really know infront of whom I should rant out my feelings and thoughts which I'm going through at this moment and the fact that they are always say sorry to us even if it's something they can't control just pains my heart even more . At this point I don't even how I should feel but what I do know is that I'll never leave their side no matter what and I know a lot of carats are feeling the same way as I am right now , so this post is meant for my fellow carats to know that we are in this together!🌻

Seventeen Reaction! to their child asking why there are so many Santas

Seungcheol:

He and his daughter were walking in the mall, hand in hand when they stopped infront of a small stage with a big stool a man dressed as Santa was sitting on. Passig by they got to see the not so well hidden backstage with at least two more men dressed as Santa. His little daughter was pointing there with a cute little shocking gasp and asking her dad:

“Daddy why are there so many Santas?”

And Daddy kneeled down to hold her cheek and simply tell her: “Santa needs some help my baby. Even he can’t do everything!“

Jeonghan:

He was driving home with his four years old daughter and his 9 months old son after meeting Santa to tell him their christmas wishes. His daughter was silently playing with a doll and his son was sleeping. She had a concerned look on her face and Jeonghan noticed so he asked her what is up.

“Daddy why was there a different Santa than last year? Can he change his looks?”

Jeonghan kept a straight face and told her: “You know my angel... years ago there weren’t that many kids on earth so Santa could handle to give presents to the children all alone. Now that there are so many children he really needs help”.

Satisfied with that answer his daughters eyes went to her doll again.

Joshua:

Joshuas son was playing with his Dads phone while Joshua was cooking in the kitchen. The 3 years old boy clicked on a video and to be seen were Seventeen. All of them wearing Santa costumes. His son then screamed: “Daddy why are you wearing Santas costume when you are not Santa?”. Joshua came out of the kitchen seeing the video that was being played and took the phone away. “No no we were just helping Santa! You can help Santa too one day if you want...”. His son just got really excited loool.

Jun:

Jun and his two sons were eating Pizza while watching TV and as it should be there were played many christmas advertisements. His sons here and there stopped eating to watch them but ate again when Jun reminded them of eating. One of his sons then asked why in every advertisement Santa looked different. Jun smiled and said: “This isn’t the real Santa. Santa is way too busy to be starring on TV”. Not happy about that the two boys looked at their food, one of them nearly started crying. Jun then added: “He is too busy with choosing your presents but you will only get presents when you are good boys and eat up your food” and as every kid wants a present they pushed the Pizza in their mouth.

Soonyoung:

His 4 year old son kept pulling on his dads shirt because he was curious about the amount of Santas he saw down the street the day before and shyly asked: “Daddy is Santa real? You can tell me. I saw many of them yesterday.”

Soonyoung laughed and told his son with a certain look: “Of course Santa is real my son! It’s just that everyone can be Santa if they really want to make other children happy!”

His son told him that he wanted to make other children happy and Soonyoung patted his head: “I want that too buddy. Next year we will be Santa too!”

Wonwoo:

Wonwoo and his little daughter were sitting on her little table with paper and pens. They were both drawing on one big paper and the paper was full with Santas. His daughter was a bit confused about what her Dad drew so she asked: “Daddy why would you draw so many of them?”. Wonwoo then asked her: “One Santa makes many people happy right?”. His daughter nod. “Then many Santas make even more people happy”. That wasn’t really a helpful answer but it got her to think about it for a long time.

Woozi:

He was waiting in the line with his daughter to see Santa and she was very excited. Her eyes were glued on that big man sitting on that big red chair but suddenly he stood up and went behind the stage. A new Santa came out that looked smaller than the other one and Woozis daughter noticed. She tapped his leg with her small hand and said: “Dad that is not Santa! Where did Santa go?”. Woozi shook his head and strocked her small back. “No honey that is Santa. You must be seing things my sweety”. Accepting that answer because daddy must be right she got excited again.

Minghao:

Minghao was blasting christmas music and him and his son were dancing to it. The music got interrupted by a phone call that Minghao accepted. He was talking with Jun about some christmas presents and Minghao might have said a bit too loudly: “No I don’t know what I will buy my son as a christmas present. I still didn’t even talk about it with my wife-” and then his son started crying. Telling Jun he had to hang up he threw his phone on the couch and hugged his son. Trying to calm him down he said: “My boy you will get a christmas present from Santa if you are a good boy ok? It’s just that there are many children that Santa wants to get some presents for because they are poor and that makes him very very busy!”. As his boy stopped crying he asked: “Daddy? Other boys and girls don’t have toys? I want them to have my toys then!”. Mingao kissed his sons head and smiled proudly.

Mingyu:

Mingyu and his little daughter were making a mess in the kitchen by baking christmas cookies and there was a cookie cutter that looked like Santa. Mingyu was going to use it twice but his daughter stopped him: “Daddy you can’t do that! There is only one Santa”. Mingyu laughed: “But there are many Santas my dear”. His daughter was a bit angry and asked why there wasn’t just one Santa? Mingyu told her that since the real Santa is very old he needs to educate new Santas to help him. His daughter was very confused but took the cookie cutter from him anyways and put it to the side. Mingyu was laughing and put some flour on her chubby cheek to make her smile again.

Dokyeom:

Dokyeoms son was sitting on his lap and he constantly mentioned how happy he would be to see Santa again. Dokyeom got out a little photobook to look at some christmas photos. There were already two photos where his son was sitting on Santas leg. His son was now old enough to notice some differences so he asked daddy why Santa looked different. Dokyeom smiled and held the book close to his face. “I can’t see a difference. I guess I need glasses don’t you think so?”. His son didn’t even think about it again and laughed with his father. Like father, like son!

Seungkwan:

His daughter was crying for five minutes now because she pulled on Santas beard when they were in the mall to visit him. She cried so much that Seungkwan didn’t even get to explain why there wasn’t sitting Santa himself. After some time he brought her candies and a teddy bear so she would not cry again. Then she finally asked: “Daddy why did I not get to see the real santa? I was a good girl I promise!”. It made Seungkwan really sad to see her like this with a runny nose and red eyes so the best thing he thought about was to tell her that even Santa can get sick. “My pumpkin...When every child wishes for something big, Santas back hurts very much so he has to rest”. His daughter got concerned and told him: “I don’t want Santa to be sick because of me. I won’t be wishing for something big anymore”. Seungkwan almost cried because of how sweet hearted his child is. Besides he was kinda relieved since he wouldn't have to buy her something that is really expensive.

Vernon:

Him and his son went to Santaland twice and it was the same Santa for these two years so when they went to another mall this year his son asked why Santa wasn’t there to write down his wish. Vernon told him that Santa is really busy this year so he got a friend for help. And he might have said that this year the only really cool kids get to see Santa. His son asked: “I want to be cool so I can see Santa!”. Vernon held his sons hand and told him: “Well cool kids have to be listening to their parents and be very well-behaved”. His son already created a checklist for things he'd have to do for being well-behaved in his head.

Dino:

Ok so I feel like when his child would ask why there were so many Santas going down the street when they were watching a parade Dino told them they should ask Mommy. He never thought about a good answer for that question. He didn’t even think it would pop up that soon when his child was only two years old. When you (their mom) told them these people were dressed as Santa because they wanna cherish his work by wearing the same clothes. Dino would ask you later what you told them.

SVT!Reaction to you falling out of love

Ohhh Idk why my reactions always get so long I could literally write a whole oneshot for everyone but I just prefer all the details and a different scenario for every member ig 😚 Niwi~

WARNINGS: insecurities, relationship hardships

Seungcheol:

Would notice immediately and would do everything to make it stop just as fast. I believe he would take you on dates and would put as much effort in his surprises as he did when you two started dating. He would make sure that there was no lack of any love language in your relationship ever again. I think he would very much be more touchy towards you and give you more attention through kisses on your neck, help you dress for work, put your hair up for you so you could put on that one necklace he gave you early into the relationship- it kinda became a routine and a reminder to that your relationship can be so strong. He’d treasure you so much.

Jeonghan:

You alway took care of him in the most loving way, he wouldn’t really know that you were sick of it. He thought you just had a bad week but when your cold shoulder would last for more than just a few days he took you to the side and asked you whats wrong. I think he would sit down and talk with you and search for a solution. He would absolutely have doubts about himself tho. Would question if he was a good man and if he could give you what you wanted. He would need a while to actually do something to not loose you but you talked it through. It was about communicating more and sharing thoughts that helped the two of you to make your relationship even deeper.

Joshua:

You recently had an identity crisis that you barely got through but Joshua always offered to help you with anything. He noticed you had changed many things, had a new routine or new interests and he thought he would let you have to do your thing and explore everything you wanted. He gave you much freedom and space but at some point it was too much. He noticed you and him were drifting apart and that you had started avoiding him. It was harder for him to understand your thoughts and feelings. One day he “confronted” you about your change in attitude and he talked about not recognizing you. Just like Jeonghan he would sit down with you and talk it out but even tho Joshua is a calm person there would be many differences in opinion. You had opted to take a break, which he wasn’t fine with because he was worried he’d lose you and it showed. At this point it wasn’t about helping YOU but it was about helping himself with his own thoughts. It would take a damn while to agree eventually. You would help him open up to those things you learned to like and from then on your relationship would be a whole adventure because you two always get to try out new things TOGETHER.

Jun:

You two would always talk about everything and anything. Really your days with him would just consist of talking about the world, talking about him, you, again him.... You understood he had a lot to talk about because he got so much input at work with the boys but he one day just accepted that you were listening and didn’t ask about how you would feel. It made you question wether your problems or successes were valuable or your topics could keep up with is. It made you quiet... Very quiet. It made you this quiet to the point where it felt uncomfortable being around Jun and that felt like a red flag somehow. Jun hadn’t noticed all those weeks but eventually noticed it when he asked you a question and gave him half hearted answers or didn’t even say anything because you were so lost in your thoughts. He confronted you about it but you shrug it off since you didn’t wanna talk about it. You didn't make it easy for him, which is why he had to come up with an idea why you wouldn't talk to him anymore. I feel like Jun would try to go to others for help and ask for their opinions and he would maybe even ask your best friend to talk to you because at some point he felt insecure. Once he realized that probably both of you felt insecure he would talk with you and have a deep talk about that insecurity which built up a lot more confidence in each other in the end.

Hoshi:

Soonyoung is a very positive person who would always lift your mood in whatever situation. However I’m not quiet sure wether he would be the best help for actually solving bigger problems or not. He really always tries his best with you but his best sometimes just doesn’t work and whenever you tell him you would have to make a different approach thats more rational he’d come up with even crazier solutions that were too optimistic. Someday it was starting to drain you because he wasn’t behaving like that only when you were stressed. You don’t really have to do anything and he jumps on trees and mountains with how energetic he is. It was tiring. What made it worse was that you felt like he wasn’t really lostening to your concerns and that he was always missing your points that you did not feel understood. So when you stopped going to him for advice to the point of you hiding your thoughts from him because you didn’t feel comfortable anymore he would be so sad about it and talk with you. But I just know he would listen and take that energy and use it for being patient with you and for once being patient with himself and his ideas to put you first!

Wonwoo:

This one is hard. I‘m convinced a big problem would be his cold looking person. You had always experienced his warm side because he was the warmest and loveliest person to you. Wonwoo stepped out of his way to do everything for you and you would give him just as much. What Wonwoo didn‘t notice tho was that he more than thrice overstepped his own barriers and you would have to tell him a lot to calm down and take some time to recover from all the things he did for others, including you. He‘d always tell you it’s fine and tell you you are unreasonable, shrug you off, even give you stares of annoyance because he deep down knew you were right but he didn’t like that because it meant he’d be wrong. This negativity would literally scare you off and you never wanted to feel like your opinion didn’t matter which was exactly what he made you feel. You distanced yourself from him because if he doesn’t want your help then you wouldn’t be offering it to him. I am sure it would end in one big argument where you would finally tell him that he would have to lower his standards and that not everything can go as smooth as he wants it and sometimes you have to be humble and what not. It would then click and thats when he sees what he has done with his overly grumpy attitude. He would explain a lot, telling you he doesn’t recognize himself and doesn’t identify with it and when he would specifically ask you for help because he really wants to work on himself you would see the effort he puts into changing his behavior and the value he puts into your words.

Woozi:

It’s because he is a hard working person thats what I can tell. He‘d make you feel like he was prioritizing work over you and you were the most understanding person on earth going as far as trying to acquire skills you would need for being able to help him at work, giving him rather professional opinions or buying the stuff he needed for his studio because something broke and so on. One day he was working in the studio and you visited him, helped him out and that whole day he really just treated you like a staff worker who he had no relationship with at all. He treated you like this even at home, talking about what he would have to do for work and not once stopped with that talk to just breath. Maybe, just maybe an ultimatum would be needed and if that didn’t work you would have to go to one of the members and ask them to confront him. When exactly that happened he felt so guilty because it shouldn’t be normal for someones s/o to do that out of desperation which he himself caused. He would sit down with you, apologize a lot, take a break from work and create a good routine with you so he wouldn’t fall into that rabbit hole again!

Dokyeom:

Oh he’s a baby. A cute little baby who is too naive to know what he is doing. Just like Soonyoung he is so energetic and communicative that whenever he talks to someone his attention is on full focus mode but it sometimes happens he unintentionally ignores your presence. You would literally have to beg him to give you attention for once also because normally he is the one who is taken care of. You would probably have to have a talk with him where you simply draw comparisons for example you‘d have to ask him wether he knows how he always wants to be held and that sometimes you want that too? Poor baby would have an existential crisis because he still wants to be held and he really likes all the attention on himself but he‘s also worried about you that stepping out of his comfort zone would be a pain in the ass he’d nevertheless accept. Would ask for lots of advice from his Hyungs and would start off with giving you small presents or flowers and later on he‘d actually find the biggest liking in giving back the love he demands/receives that the way he is with you is really a special kind and you‘d feel so special too.

Mingyu:

Oh I think it’s because he gives you too much love! Yes too much. He‘d constantly stick to your side, cook you the most elaborated meals, write you sticky notes for your work lunch box so he‘d alway be in your mind when you two aren’t together. It got overly annoying when he started inviting himself to plans you made with your friends. Not only you were annoyed. When your friends stopped inviting you over because they knew Mingyu was your boyfriend it really took a toll on you. When you asked Mingyu to give you some space or alone time with your friends because even them thought he was annoying he‘d blame it on your friends and tell you they would be bad for you anyways. He‘d probably need a harsh wake up call from you and a big ass scolding because he is a grown up and so are you and that it shouldn’t be a necessity for you to tell him to stay in his lane sometimes. Sulky baby nr. 2. He‘d realise quickly that you don’t actually need all the stuff he made for you and that you‘d more likely treasure them if they weren’t thrown after you like there were plenty of things you couldn’t get enough off. He would take that into consideration and do an uno reverse to make things really special when it came out of the blue that he gifted you something. Not like he‘d stop giving you attention at all tho.

Minghao:

Ohhh it wasn‘t actually because he did something but rather because you heard people talk about how he choose you to be his. He had the best sense of fashion, was basically a model in every sense and was talented in dancing, martial arts, whipping girls hearts away, no but really everyone held something for him. Minghaos Spotlight intimidated you a lot and the fact that he wasn’t making you familiar with it made it worse. It somehow then felt like he was ashamed of you or like he thought you couldn’t get on his level and you‘d not be worth trying to introduce you to his world. People talked behind your back about that he has a horrible taste regarding people romantically which you at first tried to ignore. But you tried to make it easier for yourself by accepting that fact and making it your reality so to prepare yourself for that day when he’d break up with you, which you were sure he would, you slowly convinced yourself that you loved him less too to make the pain more bearable. When Minghao noticed you were different he was sad because you wouldn’t show any interest in him. I see Minghao as someone who doesn’t really think optimistic but more pessimistic. At first he’d think that if you don’t feel interested or even bored by him then you don’t deserve him but at second thought he realised there might be a deeper meaning behind that. Probably the most easy person to solve problems with. Would reassure you what people talk about is never his opinion if you don’t hear it coming from his mouth and thats the RULE!

Seungkwan:

It was because late in the relationship Seungkwan sometimes started treating you like he treated his sisters rather than his partner. He doesn’t have a bad relationship with his sisters but he sometimes forgets to be… lovely. Harsh reactions or answers which made you shy away since he has a very dominant personality. I dare to say that a person that’s not romantic can be less attractive sometimes. You wondered when Seungkwans next “outburst” of emotions would be where you’d be used as the trash dump. Seungkwan is a smart guy. He reads people very well and of course he does read you too so when he sits you down and talks to you he handles the situation very mature. He doesn’t blame either one of you but rather blames the situation that’s unfortunate. Would make sure to tell you how much he appreciates you and would suggest doing stuff like you did when you first started dating which would spark the flame very fast again.

Dino:

He overstepped your boundaries several times. Dino is a person to be really motivated and supportive. Whenever you did something he tried to give you a push but he did not get that you have your own tempo for doing what you wanna do. It set you under a lot of pressure when he asked you if you finished what you where working on/for because he was rubbing it under your nose if you did not. He’d remind you of what your goal was and that you wouldn’t achieve it by doing nothing. He really quickly lost track of the small achievements you made and didn’t see them at all. It spoiled your mood so bad that you quit whatever you were doing because you thought you couldn’t do it anyways. Once you realised that Dinos behavior talked you into that you started seeing him less and less. Whenever he would ask you to go out on a date you’d say you can’t because you’re sick. You so often used that excuse because the only thing Dino understood was if you’re sick you shouldn’t work even on your achievements. It made you feel less guilty. Dino got so worried when you constantly said you’re sick that one day he just went to your place to find you crying on the couch because you felt you’re not worth anything. He was beating himself up for all the things he said to you and apologized so much. He always hoped the moment of you crying because of him would never come. He since then gave you so many honest compliments and even captured the small achievements you did with a photobook or a self written card for you or flowers.

Seungkwan: Sometimes I wish you could block people in real life.

Joshua: Restraining order.

Junhui: Murder.
