Hajime was essentially raised in an orphanage ran by the church, the pastors and priests had a long running history of ill treating the orphans. Many endured abuse for a large part of their childhood. Hajime worked his way up the ranks, became a priest, and during the annual meetup in which all individuals of power gathered, Hajime essentially burned down the chapel they were congregated in. It took him months of preparation, and all of them wound up in hell essentially but I haven't thought about it beyond that fhsjhfjd But yes, that's Hajime's secret, Tooru's secret is that he's technically the king of hell, and eventually after they fall in love, Hajime rules as queen xjsndjjsjd
