Spent the weekend working out how to do the color scheme for the Leagues of Votann box. I am guite happy with how it worked and hopefully it's easy enough to reproduce army sized.
Testing out how I wanted to do the heat weapons tonight, not 100% there yet but it good enough as a test run. Also messing with having an interior light helmet. Not as convinced that was a good idea but it was a interesting experiment for sure.
Einhyr champion for the Leagues finished up. Figured out how I want to base them too!
Now that I've got the color scheme figured out and the first guy done it's time to start on the rest of the hearthkin. I am not a person who batch paints, since I normally like working one model at a time (see titanicus), so we'll see how doing a big unit works out for me..... Any advice is appreciated!
I've started working on leagues of votann again in prep for 10th ed. Didn't want to shock the brain too much so I moved from titans to.... slightly smaller robots..... Ok so I have a type.
More Ironmaster progress. The E-cogs are all finished up so I moved onto the master himself. I'm trying to work harder on making all my blends nice and smooth and I think it's paying off.
Got the Brokhyr and his Ironkin assistant finished up and ready for basing finally.
Thinking about leagues of votann and project's that may never happen.
They're space dwarves, so they will have trade unions.
I'm thinking of background for the United Workers Conglomerate of Lower boiler room D.
I can maybe do something with the primaris ancient, he has two banners on his sprue.
They do have a lot of imperial markings, can probably file some of that away. Add some suitable words using the Dwarf army book runes, and you have a union banner!
Just a bit of fun at this stage, I'll think about it a bit more.

These models joined the mile high club lmao. The lady next to us was fascinated with warhammer and loved watching us paint. Shout out to spirit airlines for actually having decent lights for painting. Finished up the faces on the plane and weapon/armor glow at ATL. On to Chicago now!
