Red had always been her favorite color. She had been known as Little Red since freshman year. Once joining the academy, it became her code name of sorts. Other agents would refer to her as that, as a friend, but the men behind bars would scream her name in retaliation and agony.
Little Red.
She was always asked “Why red?” It was the color of her hair. Her favorite dresses. The stains on her mugs.
It was the color of her enemies. The last thing they would ever see.
Red.
So, Little Red, wasn’t quite so little anymore.
