Manga Review - Tumblr Posts

My grandma asked me to draw fanart of Teacher and Shiva from "The Girl from the Other Side" manga. She saw me watching the OVA movie and said "Aww what a cute little girl!" so we watched together and she loved it and wanted fanart, so here it is!
I really loved the manga and beautiful relationships between these two, but the ending honestly SUCKS DONKEY BALLS. It had the same feeling as the ending of Game of Thrones to me, it left me completely empty and I felt like I wasted time on this story for no reason. At least, the anime version had a better ending. And the animation was stunning!
Teacher and Shiva are still very dear characters to me and I still adore the relationship they had up until the last volume. I hope we get a full length anime series with them, just with a different ending lmao.
The art was made with pastels, charcoal and colored chalks on paper.
How I Met My Soulmate Manga And Why I Dropped It At Chapter 19 SPOILERSSSS (i think) (a VERY subjective manga review made by a teenager lol)

im gonna say that i REALLY liked this manga in the beginning. the artstyle was GORGEOUS, the people are GORGEOUS! it was cute when they got together (and im constant thirsting over iori but thats besides my point).
BUT, later on it just got a WEE BIT annoying.... tell me why seno (the first love from high school and also kinda the second male lead) is still trying to pursue my girl yuki... LIKE SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND NOW!!!! SHES IN A RELATIONSHIP!!! AND HE KNOWS THAT!!!1 yet hes still trying to pursue her.... like bro theres plenty of fish in the sea, you can find new love, another girl out there (or boy if you swing that way, happy prideđłâđ lol) who may actually make you feel more happy and make you worth something CUZ PURSUING SOMEONE WHO LIKES SOMEONE ELSE IS NOT HELPING MY BOI.

(from chapter 19) And then it just gets progressively MORE AND MORE MESSY! like goddamn kardashians youve got competition. why do they keep adding more mess in the bag like THATS ENOUGH SLICES

(from chapter 17) tell me why this unicorn fangirly had to tell her that... that wasnt necessary??? its none of their business to literally give that information to her which could potentially damage her relationship with iori... like stop it... get some help

AND THEN

(from chapter 19)
She just found out some ground breaking info from ibuki (iori/male lead's brother) about some stupid complications, misunderstandings, and â¨pretendingsâ¨and stuff that MIGHT ruin iori's perception and damage his relationship with his brother MORE as if its not tattered enough, and she cant conjure up the strength and confidence to forward that news she basically scooped up from brother dearest â¨đ cuz why would you want that right? youre basically shattering an ounce of happiness from a person you love and who wants that. not yuki def cuz all she wants is to make iori happy and give him the joy and DESERVES. WHY ARE WE ADDING MORE DRAMA??!?!?! CAN WE NOT BE HAPPY--
______________________________________________________________
*cough* uhhh yeah why couldnt we just have ended the story with like them finalyl ending up together, final scene is in the hot sprint, ibuki and iori sorted their shit out with the power of â¨communicationâ¨, seno can just move on and try to find new love or atleast work on himself.
im just tired guys oh wow... ig i just want happiness for once cuz i just keep dying inside in most of these romance stories đ
if you have any opinions about my opinions feel free to comment ig lol if you want IM WILLING TO CHAT LOL MAYBE YOULL CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE OR YOULL AGREE WITH ME
or ig ill try to just continue and maybe i can just give my final review lmao (which might take a long time cuz this is still ongoing i thinkđ§ââď¸)
Is the destination a hero or a demon king?-manga
Mamiya Yuuto was transported into another world after hearing those words, but all he got out of it was a younger body and the ability to see his status screen at any time â in overwhelming detail. Survive in a different world with skills and magic, armed with the experience of working life and the knowledge and perseverance of a retired gamer!
If you look at all the manga I have reviewed, I really like other world manga. This world does have a system which doesn't have to be bad and it does look like that the demon king is just a part of the world that folks know of and is more like what party you follow. As this manga is still being translated i have hope for it and i what to see more.Â
My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer
After losing his leg as a startup adventurer, he retired to his hometown in the countryside. Doing things such as collecting medicinal herbs, exterminating magic beasts and wild beasts, and helping with the villagersâ farm work, itâs hard to decide whether to call our protagonist an adventurer or a handyman. And while doing these things his age quickly approached thirty.
One day while searching the mountains for herbs, he discovered an abandoned child. Thinking that he couldnât just leave it, he took it home and raised it until his age approached forty. His now grown-up daughter had also wanted to become an adventurer, likely from growing up watching her father. Although her father had taught her the sword since she was young for self-defense, her talent at it was quite impressive. Thinking that it would be better for her not to be stuck out in the country for the rest of her life, our protagonist sent her to the adventurersâ guild in the Capital. His daughter officially became an adventurer.
After another five years, the protagonist, now in his forties, is still acting as a pseudo-adventurer in the countryside. However his daughter is now a distinguished S Class adventurer but hasnât returned home once yet⌠âJust when will I get to see Daddy againâŚ!?â
Manga Descriptions are so long but they tell you all you choude need to know about the manga. I love how in all ways but in her training the father is doting and loving. I love the daughters' team, they have some fantasy racism but it does not become a large part of the story. The littel girl that has the mage body garde is vary interesting. Thare take on monsters is interesting, as they talk abot them as if they are animals that are just a part of the world.
Nitoâs Guide to the Parallel World - manga
by Joryu Romero
Hidako Masamune is a high school student who suffers from continuous bullying by his classmates. Becoming tired of it all, he decides to commit suicide, but instead he is transported to another world along with all his classmates. When they arrive, they find that they now possess amazing abilities but he was only granted the status of a "healer," the weakest skill of all. The king decides to get rid of him by transporting him to another faraway place, but not before Hidako swears revenge against the king, the kingdom, and all of his classmates.
i realy like the art for this comic, its simpel but its got a bit of twang. i like the idea of his abilaty of reversing magic and what that means for the world at large. most of the time in my opeon storys like this get stuck on trying to make the main chariter fit in the world, this comic does not do that, he does hide him self but he does not become a large part of the world makeing or selling things like in other kicked out dudes
lchi the witch
I was really surprised at how good this was. I showed some real heart. The only thing that I do not like is that only women can be witches, and the main character, Ichi, is one in a billion in this world. I do love the idea of a dude that lives in the woods and hunts beasts that kill humans or to eat (great rules for this character) I hope to see more of what it means for this world to have a male witch and that he may be the most powerful they have seen so far, will he use the magic or will it be a tool for a specific kind of hunting.
Hepatica and the Cruel Nature of Bullying

Haruka has it rough. She moves to a school in the countryside due to her dad family getting a new job and gets tormented everyday by a group of bullies. Her family and a boy named Aiba seem to be the only traces of happiness in her life, but will this happiness last?
Hepatica is a brutal depiction of middle school bullying and the cruelty of children. The tourment Haruka goes through ranges from regular verbal abuse, being pushed into garbage, and the event which kicks off the revenge plot of the entire manga: her house gets burned down with her family it it. This is the final nail that turns Haruka from an innocent school girl to a cold blooded vigilante.

The children in this manga are so twisted not even the puppy killers form Elfen lied or the cast of Narutaru felt this vile. They bully Haruka extensively for the sole face sheâs an outsider and even after her family dies, they taunt her over it. Iâm usually not a fan of revenge stories because the victim turns into a perpetrator, but the bullies here deserved every bit of suffering they received. Never has the murder of middle school students been so glorious.
Some readers might find it hard to digest that children could even be this sadistic and I do admit that the events are a bit overblown, but some children out there are fully capable of being psychopathic monsters. What doesnât help is when the teacher enables the bullying and even seems to be afraid of her own students. Even Aiba, Harukaâs only friend, shows to have a hidden dark side that comes into play during the final chapters. As we read on, we find that some of the bullies have their own troubled lives they want to escape from. This in no way excuses or lessens their behavior, but it does show how a cycle of bullying is created.
I give Hepatica a 7.5/10. The character drama resonated with me and I rooted for Haruka the entire way. The plot twist near the end genuinely left me shocked and the final pages were heartbreakingly brutal. Reading this was similar to how I felt after reading Metamorphosis by ShindoL. My only complaints are that the art can feel too rough/ amateurish at times and the story can verge into juvenile edge territories. Surprisingly enough, this is a josei manga which makes it the first manga Iâm reviewing here for a female audience.
Jojolands Chapter 2 Review- The Japanese Man on Hawaii Island

This chapter has a slower pace than the previous one but still brings up some interesting tidbits that will surely be developed on. Chapter two begins with Jodio conducting a drug trade with a college girl, but he's suspicious about her true nature. Those suspicions turn out to be true when she reveals herself as an undercover cop. Jodio and Paco are busted and even more surprising is the return of two cops from the first chapter. I'm surprised Jodio didn't kill them despite how bloodlusted he was. A small piece of dialogue even implies he intentionally didn't kill them. I also find it weird they made a complete recovery in seemingly only a few days after they got brutalized so badly.

It's like everyone in Jojo has weird regeneration superpowers that never get commented on. The mustached cop is back to being the creepy bastard he is by telling Jodio how much he's looking forward to molesting him. Araki must be extra wild in this part cause this is two consecutive chapters of sexual assault right off the bat. Jodip doesn't let the cops phase him and he simply uses November Rain to wash away the drugs on hand.

We get a small scene where Jodio thinks back to the time he took a psychological evaluation at school and was diagnosed as a psychopath. This makes me extra confident he'll end up being a villain near the end of the series. Jodio is the most cold-blooded Joestar and has no remorse for what he does. His actions are even viler from a Japanese perspective which has a huge stigma against drugs. Either Jodio will realize he's a bastard and have a change of heart or go completely off the deep end. I'm excited to see either scenario play out cause it was be disappointing to have him remain the thug that he is.
Remember that crazy hotdog-loving wetsuit-wearing drug addict from before? He has a name and it's Usagi Aloha'oe. Usagi certainly stands out the most from the other characters due to his quirky yet laid-back personality and weird fashion sense( it's Jojo so that's not saying much but still). The gang travels to where the Japanese tourist lives and that's when Usagi pops out his stand: Matte Kudasai. I at first thought this was a rare Japanese song reference but it's actually from King Crimson. A King Crimson reference in an alternate universe version of Golden Wind? I'm calling it now, if Jodio doesn't turn evil then Usagi will turn out to be a traitor. I'm only half serious but it would be interesting for there to be a traitor in part when that was originally supposed to be Fugo's role. Matte Kudasai has the interesting ability of cloning an object if another person wishes for it. I love how everyone has stands perfectly suited to pulling off a heist. Even Jodio's stand can be used to wash away evidence and makes me think he'll serve as a crime scene cleaner.

At the tail end of this chapter comes quite possibly the biggest plot twist introduced in the sbr universe continuity. The Japanese tourist is none other than Rohan Kisbe! I can not exaggerate how unexpected this was. This may be an alternate universe Rohan but he looks exactly like his original universe self; something unprecedented among the other counterparts. This being the original Rohan would be even more insane yet fun. Rohan being in the new universe could explain why newer Thus spoke Rohan chapters are set in modern times despite that conflicting with part 4's setting. If that's the case, this is some Oda-level foreshadowing from Araki. I seriously hope Rohan met up with Josuke and Yasuho during the time skip. This could set them up to be heroic antagonists who face off against Jodio's gang. The drama just keeps getting better.

I didn't like this manga. There is non con and in chapter 2 ,the punchline. The manga is the Uruu Akua. But it has opened up a new k!nk for me: that of feeding your partner. I like the drawing and the bunny clothes with the toys, I think they are cute. That's why it gives me a bittersweet feeling
