Hey, I was thinking of a oneshot request for MTMTE Rodimus, Megatron, Drift, Whirl, Tarn, Shatted Glass Optimus Prime and Bayverse Ironhide with a Cybertronian S/O who can transform into a weapon (and it depends on what weapon she turns to, depending on who the character she is with). MTMTE Whirl x Cybertronian!reader
this one ended up longer than I thought LOL
Whirl is immediately thrilled to have such a cool partner. At first he was distrustful of you, as usual, and even challenged you to a brawl for no reason. All you were doing was having a small drink at Swerve's, chatting and laughing with a couple of other bots. It was about your second or third time showing up at the bar, you found it quite easy to make friends here. Now, Whirl wasn't particularly interested in you when you first arrived on the Lost Light. Nothing unusual, you were just another bot, right? And yet like many others, after seeing you a couple of times he just couldn't figure out your alt-mode. Were you on the LL for no absolute reason and just another has-been?
And so he did the most logical thing, he suddenly marched up to you and said something like, "c-mere!" So...you did the most logical thing as well. Despite the mechs holding both Whirl and you back, you managed to transform and fire in a split second before you hit the ground.
Despite having a gaping hole in his chassis (nothing fatal, don't worry) he never left you alone after that.
It's been a while since the two of you have been together now, to the surprise of many and others simply said you were meant for each other. So it came to the point where you could trust him as the one to handle your alt-mode.
"You sure this won't uh, blast my arm off or something?"
"I'm not sure, actually, but we'll find out." Anyone who was unfamiliar with you two would wonder why Whirl was talking to a talking blaster that was bigger than the size of his clawed servos, but luckily you were alone. This was the first time either of you had done this, it startled the both of you when you transformed and magically clipped onto Whirl's arm like a built-in blaster meant just for him. Unexpected, but convenient.
"Ready?"
"Re-"
He fired and the both of you went flying backward into the wall. The blast didn't hit the desired target and instead a bit above it, creating a burnt mark on the metal walls. Meanwhile, debris fell onto Whirl as he recovered from the hit, you were both sitting in a dent in the used-to-be wall.
"Whirl! Are you- are you okay?!"
You transformed back and knelt down beside him, gently shaking him by his shoulder plates. He seemed a little dazed, you always wondered how his single optic can be so expressive. He lifted his right servo a bit shakily, the same one he fired with, and placed it near your chassis.
"That was...that was hot.."
You best believe after that, you grew closer than ever. He no longer collapses at your alt-mode's recoil and he looks badass while attacking his enemies, what more could he want?
Although the mech was a little funky, you wouldn't change a thing. You snapped out of your thoughts when suddenly your surroundings went silent, you looked up at your conjunx only to meet his gaze as well. His yellow optic turned into an upside-down "u" shape and you couldn't help but smile.

Let's head back to Issue #7, yeah? Also I can't see Tarn being in a healthy relationship but I love him just as much as others do, so I made him somewhat sane for you, anon (or I made reader just as crazy, idk)
Tarn would never admit how much he enjoyed your alt-mode and well...you in general. He does, but in his own odd ways. The mech is so accustomed to using others for his own gain, taking and taking and taking but giving only when it's beneficial to him. But you? He cherishes you the way he cherishes what he does. You would've never thought you'd be part of the DJD, much less being the literal conjunx of their leader. Yeah, you knew about all their actions but you couldn't help but hold your helm high up as you stood next to your partner, peering down at a beat-up mech as the rest of the DJD stood around him.
Black Shadow, you remembered, was quivering on the ground with most of his armor melted off, barely cooling off. But at what cost? He had already been partially melted by Helex and now it was time for you to partially do your job.
"Y/N, love. Care to assist me in teaching this traitor a lesson?"
You obliged, you transformed into the cybertronian equivalent of a circular saw with the sharpest of blades. Over time, you too had gotten your own modifications of course. More and more blades were added to your alt-mode, resulting in a ravishing and formidable torture machine. The beaten mech's optics widened, albeit weakly, knowing what was about to happen.

You thought it was sweet the way Tarn would carefully clean off the spilled energon from your blades every time you were finished with a traitor. Suddenly with you, he had the most gentle servos known to cybertronian-kind. After that was done, the mech let out a soft sigh. He would- read this carefully, he would give your alt-mode a peck and gentle pat on the weapon. He would take pride in the way your bio-lights would brighten.
"You did so well, as always, Y/N."
Hot Rod slapping a Quintesson Prosecutors because he’s just so done with everything. The Quintesson Prosecutors then acts like a sad dog and follows Hot Rod around.
Everyone thinks that Hot Rod has gone crazy and Soundwave is impressed.

He was arguing with Soundwave while the others watched. They were supposed to be looking for supplies but Soundwave was acting like he was the leader.
"Useless Autobot. I should be the one in charge."
"No way. I've been leading this team since the start."
"And you've been doing a bad job."
"How dare you? I've been doing a great job. I freed you after all."
"It was an accident. You did nothing."
"Should we stop them?"
Clobber looked between the two who continued to argue. Completely oblivious to the world around them.
"Nah this is entertaining."
Perceptor gave Dead End an unimpressed look.
"They're making too much noise. The Quintessons are going to realize we're here."
"Too late."
Whirl pointed with one of his claws.
"You were supposed to be on guard duty."
"I was."
He gestured towards the Quintesson who snarled. Having managed to sneak inside while Whirl was busy watching them argue.
"Look out!"
Perceptor tried to warn. Hot Rod who was frustrated with Soundwave and done with the situation in general. Turned around and slapped the Quintesson in the face causing them to rear back making a sound of pain and surprise.
"Shut up all of you! I can't hear myself think!"
Hot Rod stormed off and the Quintesson looked between all of them and Hot Rod. It ended up following after him and he stood up going to stop it from attacking Hot Rod. When Soundwave stopped him by trying to take over.
He managed to get away when he started glitching. Not even bothering to help him and it seemed the Decepticons didn't want to help either. Because they walked away going back to Maccadams.
"Should we?"
"Do whatever you want."
He turned away going to find Hot Rod and Whirl joined him. Soundwave can stay stuck in the loop for all he cares. Serves him right for being such a jerk.
He found Hot Rod sitting by himself with the Quintessons head in his lap, looking up at him as he pet the beast.
He stared in shock and tried to reach for him and get him away from the Quintesson.
"Hot Rod what are you doing?"
"Hmm. I just needed some time to myself."
"Get away from that thing. It's dangerous."
"He's not dangerous. He's actually kind of cute in a weird way."
Hot Rod pet the beast who leaned into his touch.
"Come on we need to get out of here."
"Where's everyone else?"
"Probably already at Maccadams. Except for Soundwave he's still frozen at the warehouse we'd been exploring."
"What? Why would you leave him there?"
He stood up and the beast huffed looking annoyed that he was moving around.
"We need to go get him, it's not safe."
"He was being a jerk."
"Leaving him is not the Autobot way."
He went back to the warehouse and found Soundwave sitting on the floor looking exhausted.
"Look who finally decided to show up."
He spit out. Not even glancing at him.
"I didn't know they left you behind."
"Why'd you come back?"
"They shouldn't have done that."
Soundwave finally looked up and was surprised to see a Quintesson behind him. He raised his weapon and he got between them.
"Don't shoot he's friendly."
"Friendly?"
Soundwave gave him a disbelieving look and he shrugged.
"I don't know. I guess I tamed it somehow and now it's following me around like a lost Cyberpuppy."
Soundwave looked like he wanted to be annoyed. Except he couldn't help but be impressed. Somehow he'd managed to tame one of those things. Which could help them defeat the enemy.
"You can keep your pet as long as it doesn't get in the way."
He stood up already walking away. Hot Rod grumbled behind him.
"I was going to keep him regardless of what you said."
Perceptor tried to protest but Hot Rod had made up his mind. Soundwave wanted his own and Whirl thought it was cool. Even though the Quintesson would try to attack him every time he tried to pet it.
Since he couldn't keep it at Maccadams it became a guard dog of sorts alerting them if anyone came near.
When attacked by the Quintesons, the guys decide to split up, Soundwave and Hot Rod decide to go together.
"Here's the plan. Perceptor and Dead End are going to try and use the machine Perceptor made to get people out of the loop. I'm going to go into the loop with Soundwave and try to get people out that way. Whirl and Clobber you two need to stand guard near the entrance and make sure we're not surprise attacked."
Everyone nodded and he could see Perceptor getting his machine ready. Hopefully it would work and they'd get at least a few more people out.
Glancing at Soundwave the two made optic contact which he quickly looked away. Trying to hide the blush on his face.
It had taken the two of them a long time to come up with this plan. At the beginning they fought each other over everything refusing to listen to the others ideas and immediately turning them down.
It wasn't until they stopped arguing and listened to what the other was saying. That they were able to work together and come up with a plan they were both happy about. Bouncing each other's ideas off of each other.
He enjoyed his time with Soundwave when they stopped arguing. He was surprising in a lot of ways and he found himself looking at him in a new light afterwards.
Once everyone knew the plan they split up. He went with Soundwave the two walking together as they reached the cortical physic patch.
Sitting down he grabbed one of the helmets.
"Are you ready?
He nodded and Soundwave helped him put on his helmet. He wasn't sure if it was just him but he could have sworn his hand lingered longer than necessary.
Once the helmet was on he was transported into the loop. Soundwave joined him a moment later and the two worked together to try and free people.

Soundwave, Hotrod, Perceptor, Deadend, Clobber and Whirl, The group decided to have a vacation after the long work they had restoring cybertron
He relaxed into the oil bath. Looking at Soundwave who sat next to him, he smiled planning on moving closer. When Perceptor got between them.
"I don't think so."
He wrapped an arm around him while glaring at Soundwave.
"We may be on vacation but I still don't want you anywhere near Hot Rod."
Dead End who'd been sitting on the other side minding his business laughed. He huffed. Giving him an annoyed look as he blocked his view from Soundwave.
Looking around for something to do. He found Whirl somehow playing with a ball that hadn't managed to pop from his claws.
Clobber was getting a relaxing massage done which looked good. But he'd rather have Soundwave touching him instead.
Noticing a sauna nearby. He got up and went inside. A moment later and Soundwave joined him. He knew Perceptor hated saunas and wouldn't bother them.
"What are we going to do about the scientist?"
Soundwave huffed looking annoyed that he'd interrupted them.
"We need to find a way to distract him. I know he likes Dead End maybe we can get them together?"
Soundwave nodded already coming up with ways to get them together. Even though he didn't care about whatever was going on between them. He was tired of Perceptor getting in his way.
He started by writing Perceptor a love letter in Dead Ends handwriting.
It was disgusting and he'd rather write Hot Rod one instead but it needed to be done.
That night during dinner he sat next to Hot Rod. The two held hands under the table and Soundwave would occasionally rub his thigh.
Perceptor would have immediately gotten between them. Angry that Soundwave would touch his thigh and accuse him of being a creep.
Now however he was distracted. Likely thinking about the letter he'd been given and what it means. Dead End oblivious continued to do his own thing. Having no idea what was happening.
As Soundwave teased him under the table. He turned to Clobber not wanting to do something embarrassing.
"Are you having fun?"
"Yes. After getting a nice relaxing massage. I went with Whirl to this water park."
"We had an epic battle."
"There were these annoying kids who kept spraying everyone so we sprayed them back."
"We lured them under this giant bucket that dumps water and watched as they got wiped out."
"We also went on some water slides."
"We should go on some more tomorrow."
"That's a great idea."
Clobber nodded looking excited. He smiled happy his friends were enjoying themselves.
He jerked slightly feeling a hand on his modesty panel. He looked over at Soundwave who gave him a look filled with lust.
He quickly left the table and went to the bathroom. Splashing water on his face he looked up to see Soundwave standing there.
Turning around the two made out. Soundwave sat him on the counter and he pulled him close, wrapping his arms around him. He felt a hand stroke his modesty panel when he stopped him.
"Not here."
They walked back to his hotel room after making up some kind of excuse that he wasn't feeling well. Perceptor looked like he wanted to argue and follow after him but he used Dead End as a distraction.
The two spent the rest of their vacation fragging whenever they could. By the time they left Hot Rod was feeling a little weird and wondered if he was coming down with something.

No one knows how it happened. Maybe Maccadams knows, but he was gone now. Which meant no one not even Hot Rod or Soundwave knew how they got together and people have asked. A lot of people and yet they never knew what to say.
They'd say it was because of the Quintessons and being forced to work together, which was partially true but the specifics were lost to them. One day they'd looked at each other and Soundwave found Hot Rod less annoying. Hot Rod found Soundwave not as evil. The two just seemed to fit together. Once they stopped fighting it was like everything clicked.
Like something they knew was missing was suddenly found.
If you asked Perceptor, Dead End, Whirl or Clobber. None of them would know as well. One day the two were fighting and the next they were working together.
They didn't think about it at the time too busy trying to free everyone else. It wasn't until they caught the two making out they realized the two were together or at least had something going on between them.
Perceptor chided himself for not knowing. He was usually more observant than that but he'd been distracted and hadn't realized.
Hot Rod and Soundwave didn't care. They loved each other and now the specifics didn't matter. They were just happy they finally found each other and got the chance to be together.
